Fireside Pies - Legacy
Today, Fireside Pies is a collection of intimate neighborhood restaurants dedicated to serving outstanding artisan pizzas made in wood-fired ovens, as well as items that naturally compliment pizza. Each fireside pies restaurant mirrors the character of its neighborhood so no two are the same but all evoke the soul of heartfelt rustic cooking, genuine hospitality and the joyous spirit of a great gathering place.
Food was good for a reasonable price. Had mentioned in the reservation that it was for a birthday celebration but there was no acknowledgment of that fact. My daughter was somewhat disappointed.
Great food and friendly staff
This was our fourth time in two years to have dinner. Service and atmosphere were great. Pasta was very good. The large Ceaser salad was enough for all three of us to share. However, my wife and her friend split a gluten free pizza and were disappointed. They're accustomed to less than crispy gluten free crust but in this case, it was limp– requiring eating with fork and knife.
Always good food but always not very good service. We always have the same waitress...so it might be that she just isn't very good.
We love Fireside! It's easy to get in, the food is good and always consistent. The service has never been bad. It can vary between 3 and 4 stars based on the server and/ or manager.
Went for birthday. Great food and service. Very nice vibe and casual ambiance
I made a reservation through Open Table and when my party arrived, I let them know I had a reservation. The restaurant was not busy but instead of asking for my name, was shown to a table. When I returned home I noticed I received an email that Fireside Pies had cancelled my reservation. Food was good and service very good. The pizzas are unique and tasty.
Great service, food and setting. Easy night out with friends and we struggled to figure out where to dine. So glad we made reservations at Fireside Pies. My husband and I shared arugula salad and pizza. Both were above expectations. We plan to return!
Food is amazing as always. This is a regular spot for us. Our favorite is the premium meats. The meatball appetizer is a must and the garlic bites are sooo good. Service is always attentive and friendly. My daughters favorite part? The dough they give the kiddos to play with. Such a great idea for the little ones! And of course she absolutely loves the kids cheese pizza.
We always order the Baby Arugula salad and share it with 2-3 people. Our fave pizza is the Premium Meats. It never disappoints. I love the cobbler and it's great that the fruit changes frequently/seasonally. Fireside is one of our favorite pizza places because it's consistently great. A little pricey but worth it.
Salad was very spicy (in the dressing).
Pizza was just average and server forgot to order the second one.
Cost was high.
We will not be back.
Service was amazing! Food came out quickly. Gluten free pizza was pretty tasty, considering it was GF crust. Came for a casual date night and we will return!!
The staff here were knowledgeable and friendly. Yes we will return.
Food and service were excellent!
A go to perfect place for a romantic evening or a great place for guests. They always have the "big" game on in the background (silently) as well.
I love their new gluten free crusts for their pizzas!
This was our first time at Fireside Pies and we really enjoyed it. On a cold and rainy evening 6 of us stopped in for pizzas and salad. Service was excellent and Raymond gave us time to catch up and was very attentive. The atmosphere was very cozy too.
We made the mistake of going to Fireside Pies in the Shops at Legacy on Black Friday. When we saw how extremely busy it was, we should have either sat outside or left and gone somewhere else. Our server did her best, but she failed to order our pizza Dairy Free, and it arrived with what looked like cheese on it. We asked the "runner" who delivered the pie to our table if it had cheese on it and she said Oh No, that is sauce, not cheese. Well, it was cheese. We did not appreciate being lied to.
We have been to Fireside Pies many times in the past and loved it, even tho it is not a quiet restaurant on a calm night. But we had to scream at each other across the table to be heard.
I am not sure we will ever go back. Sad. They have great salads and pizza.
Great pizza and salad with excellent service.
It's been years since I've been to Fireside Pies and was looking forward to a night out. Their food was fine (nothing to write home about...must have been an off night), but the server we had was uninviting and unhelpful. He sort of ruined our evening because he just seemed whipped to even be there. Not sure I'll ever go back.
Awesome food and top-notch service!
Great Service & Food. Had reservations for 6 and had only 5 but staff accommodated great.
Always a great meal.
We love Fireside and like the food. We think it is the best wood fired pizza in the county. Decor at Legacy store getting tired. Bathrooms need a redo. Love being able to make reservations now. So glad they had the Panezanella Salad . If you have never tried it you must so yummy.
Their Tripleroni pizza is the best ever and the Baked Goat Cheese is to die for.
The food and service are both excellent!! The red sangria is delicious...best in Dallas!!
We had a wonderful experience and we will be back!
Fireside Pies is good pizza restaurant with reasonably priced drinks. Service was very attentive.
Food and service was good but the music selection was angry 90’s rock. It made it difficult to relax and have a good dinner.
Fireside pies always delivers - great pies, great salads!
We love Fireside Pies but when Legacy West opened it seemed as if they, and other retail facilities at the Shops at Legacy suffered a bit from lack of foot traffic and, I think, loss of some employees. We had a couple of less than stellar experiences (mostly service related) but they seem to be back on track. Can’t find a Triple Roni or Hot & Crumbled and a Peroni anywhere else! The Fireside Cheese salad is our go-to but has been a bit inconsistent lately. Order extra dressing on the side to dip your pizza crust in! Yum!
Great pizza where we can get what we want (including gluten free crust). And, service is fantastic (Katie is a gem)
Great service & great food- very consistent!
Everyone around us was doing the same thing --sharing a salad (the Texas Bibb is awesome) and then a pie. We love the meatball, but ask them to crumble the meatballs. They have very nice, moderately priced wines so sharing a bottle makes for a great meal. We come often and leave happy!
Went for our anniversary dinner but it did not live up to our expectations. it failed to meet our expectations. The drink was overly vinegary. The food was not up to expectations--it was lukewarm and did arrive hot and bubbly as expected as pictured in the pictures.
Dinner with friends.
I really cannot recommend this restaurant because it is not what I enjoy. It is very noisy, crowded and filled with large dining parties. All we wanted was a veggie pizza, but, to get that it would cost $30. It's pizza. It's not Le Bon Georges.
Couple that with the impossible noise and chaotic atmosphere, we left. Sorry guys, it's just not a place where you can relax.
I took my three nieces to celebrate a birthday and our experience there was absolutely amazing.
At my suggestion, my grandchildren took me to fireside pies for Father's Day lunch. Surprisingly, it was not very crowded – but it was pretty terrific!
The service was excellent, the food was delicious (and more than we could eat), and the prices were moderate. We all loved it!
Enjoyed father day here. Keaton took great care of me, my wife, and 4 elementary kids. Thanks for a great time. My top 3 restaurants!!
