   Went here to celebrate my kid's college graduation based on the open table reviews. I should have looked more closely at other review sites. For six people, the order was messed up for two of them. They got something completely different and had to wait extra for their meal. The waiter forgot to ask how I'd like my prime rib cooked, but asked after it came out. It went back. The food was blah. No flavor, just very bland. The only food item we got that we really liked were the dinner rolls and butter. The wait staff were incredibly slow. The restaurant itself was the weirdest ambience I've seen. I would never go back and would never recommend anyone else go here. I don't get how they have good reviews at all and honestly and surprised they are still in business.

   Delightful first time. Prime rib good, great menu selection. Warm biscuits and nice appetizer selection. Will go again and take grandchildren - very nice kids menu that features more than nuggets, burgers, and grilled cheese.

   The decor needs some updating. We were rushed through our dinner. I wasn't even finished with my salad and the waiter was already taking my dish away. One good thing was the fried calamari. It was crispy and tender.

   Lamb chops were delicious. Francine was fabulous!! Would have liked a vegetable other than green beans and carrots. Would definitely go back.

   Shout out to our server, Francine. We had our grandson and he spilled his drink. She was johnny-on-the-spot to clean it up and offered a refill - this time in a plastic cup! Her recommendations were great and we had a wonderful meal.

   Tried to split broiled seafood sampler with my friend. Laughed when it came out with only 2 shrimp, 2 scallops, small crab cake, and flounder. Baked potato didn’t look fresh.

    We first ate at this restaurant in 1981 when we visited Williamsburg, VA with our son. My wife and I have been back to Williamsburg many times and have eaten at the Fireside Chop House on many occasions. We like the atmosphere and the menu and the service is very good. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a good steak or cut of prime rib. Both are top notch.

    From the moment the four of us walked in, the atmosphere, friendly greeting, our waiter, Alex and the entire ambience, we felt warmly welcomed. The food was delicious too!

    Really fast service, in fact we sat at 7:00, done with dinner 7:33! Yes that quick, but portions were super small so didn't need much time to eat. We left hungry and unimpressed. Reasonably priced though, so was worth it!

    I had heard a lot of great things about this restaurant over the years and was excited to try it. I was given dining certificates from our resort so I was glad that we did not have to pay for our rather expensive the meal. the menu was very limited, and all of the food was "fine" but not amazing. We were also surprised that the restaurant was completely empty for our 7:45 pm reservations. Our Server Milach (sp?) was awesome! But in fact that was really the only positive thing about our experience. Although disappointed I would try them again in the future. Who knows, maybe we just caught them on an off night.

    The prime rib was very good. It was seasoned well. They had a good selection of local craft beers. The rest of the meal was good, but nothing to write home about. We were seated next to a family with young children who thought it was okay to keep their toddler occupied with videos on an iPad at full volume. It was never addressed. Good meal, but I'm not sure I would go back next time I'm in Williamsburg.

    We had a private booth in the back room. The front room had family's and groups . The steaks were very good and well worth the price. Which were cheaper than stated on open table menu. They prices started at 19.99 and up, the staff was friendly and helpful we had an enjoyable evening.
