The restaurant has a good vibe and service was good. Food was fine but nothing memorable. Cocktails were very good.
The Overall Experience Wasn’t the best. The servers are really inattentive and some of the food that was order wasn’t good or changed from the last time I was there. Also management that was on duty doesn’t really know how to apologize when things are not correct or not up to pair
No host. Food was bad.
The food was pretty good, but not great. They were clearly short-staffed…but everyplace is right now. Our server did an excellent job even considering his workload. We even saw managers bussing tables. Decent place in a pinch.
Fantastic drinks!!! Isiah the bartender was AMAZING!!!!
We randomly picked a restaurant close to a hotel we were staying at (travel diversion) for one night. The outdoor patio was lovely. The service was a little sporadic but we just assumed due to staffing shortage. Our server was friendly and the manager was even running food so staff was working hard! Food was good. Ribs were a little fatty but were “fall off the bone”. The corn salad was yum - a bit spicy but good! The table next to us got the 2 pound pretzel and it was no joke! Looked delicious!
My party really enjoyed ourselves at FireLake. We went for my birthday after our original plans fell through. I was able to make the reservation three hours prior to us meeting. With this being our first time there we didn’t know what to expect but they really delivered. From the drinks to the appetizers, everything was amazing. The appetizers filled us up so we didn’t get the chance to order any entrees. I will most definitely return.
Our server at breakfast was wonderful.
Food was good too.
Enjoyed sitting outside very much. Having Father's Day brunch, ordered a fruit plate which was not attractive or worth the price paid. Asked for a cup of decaf coffee and there wasn't any!
We stayed at Radisson Blu and ate here twice. Great food, great service. Really nice hotel restaurant asi would come here again. It was a it with receptions going on.
My husband and I live in the neighborhood, so we came here for a casual Saturday dinner. We sat outside—inside was a little too loud for us. The steak frites was creditable, the wine good, and we enjoyed the evening. Overall, it felt pretty normal for a post pandemic night out.
We ate there twice during our stay and the food was amazing both times. Highly recommend!
I was a bit disappointed in the menu selections and the meal prep. My BBQ ribs and corn bread were over cooked and slightly dry. I would come back for cocktails.
OUR RESERVATION WAS NOT RESPECTED. We had a reservation at 7:15pm on Saturday. We showed up on time and the hostess (very unprofessional young lady) said that it was not table ready for us, she stated that it was a problem on their system that allowed to get overbooked. She asked us to wait for 30mins aprox to get a free table so we asked to talk to the manager, the guy came with a very aggressive attitude asking us , “the hostess said that you have a question for me ?“ and we did explain to him, he said well you have the option to wait for a table or leave, he was way beyond rude, he asked us to wait in a lobby type lounge area and get a drink on the house, we agreed and sit , but nobody ever came to us to offer NO DRINK LOL so after 10 mins we decided to leave and go to another restaurant. AWFUL EXPERIENCE
We left with a very bad impression of this place, specially from its management.
The service was unacceptably slow. We ordered our food and waited an hour and forty-five minutes for our food. We had to remind the wait staff consistently to bring us water, and drinks. The waiter was nice enough, but the restaurant was understaffed and the wait was ridiculous. Will not be dining here again.
This was our first time here. The waiter was extremely nice and had an enjoyable accent! It was very busy and it was nice to see the gentleman in the sports coat providing assistance. He was very nice as well.
To food was excellent and served at a nice hot temperature and nice presentation. Very enjoyable Saturday evening dinner. We live a few buildings away any will definitely return. Thank you!
The manager was very rude and un helpful in getting us the correct receipt for our table. The food was okay. You will have to pay for garage parking as they don’t offer however there is plenty in a short waking distance.
One of the greeters help me out my jewelry on the young lady that was with him was awsome in conversation it was great Mother’s Day
Food was good asl! I had a the burger and wings! That grill is amazing!!!! The flavor!!!!!! But the drinks were TOOOOOOOOOO pricey ($38 for 2 drinks)! Dude was bragging about studying drinks for 8 years But they were weak af! Service was decent tho
We had a great time at FireLake Grill House! The drinks were amazing! Our bartender Isaiah made the best drinks and was very attentive. We food was well crafted and delicious! We will definitely be coming back!
It was our first indoor dining experience in almost a year! It was amazing and we felt totally comfortable there. Food was delicious and we will be back to this neighborhood gem.
Kitchen and restaurant was unexpectedly closing when we arrived at our reservation time of 7:00. Host and waitress were very nice and accommodating.
Got there early in the evening so wasn't a lot of noise or people. The food was good, had a small problem with the protein being cooked correctly the first time but they made another and it was cooked as requested. I would go back and eat there again
The 2 lb Bavarian pretzel was delicious! We even had some leftover that I ate 24 hours later and it was just as soft and tasty. The roasted red pepper soup was creamy and full of flavor too. It was great seeing the entire staff jump in and help one another .
Open table let us make reaervations for 945. Ince we attived we were tokd they ckose at 10 and already had stopped taking food orders. Waste of a drive to the city.
Service and ambience was nice. The menu was extremely limited and no substitutions were available. They also ran out of a few things. Potatoes were over seasoned with strong herbs but they made a new order quickly and no problems. Definitely nice for a light casual lunch date but not dinner.
A currently brief but tasty menu. I particularly enjoy the Slider Trio. You can get one of each three options or any combination you like.
I did not eat here even though I booked a reservation. We sat down to eat but upon looking at the menu multiple items had been removed since the last time we went. The staff was great but the menu has no variety and the selection was very limited. I’m pretty sure it changed due to the pandemic. I would love to go back but I know I will definitely check the menu from now on before booking.
Great fried onion rings. Food is delicious. Cocktails so-so.
Lunch was fantastic, and the vibe/location of this restaurant is a great one. Had one of the best espresso martinis I’ve ever tasted, and the corn salad and cheese curb appetizer were also delicious! There are indoor and outdoor seating options, so there is something for everyone, at all comfort levels of social distancing. I recommend this restaurant and will be back!
We did not know that there would be a limited valentines day menu for vday weekend. Although the website did publish the menu, we figured we can order other food. Nonetheless the food was appetizing.
The food was horrible.
The food was inedible. The meat was pure fat and both me and my mom got sick after eating here.
Very hapoy with accommodations for outdoor seating.
I know its outdoor dining, why is the there opening at the bottom
Delicious foods. Nice little patio with heaters. It was good to be able to sit down and have a nice meal while in Chicago under a lockdown.
Nice location. Yes, it's cold out but it's the adventure that makes it worthy these days. Good food. Great service.
Outdoor seating at FireLake takes such good advantage of the building's overhang so there is open airflow on top and at the entrance. Since we were there we see they've improved the 'siding' with hard plastic and instead of the stand-up heaters they are hung from above.
Friendly staff good service and the food and drinks are great. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and that you are comfortable.
