Firegrill - Downtown Ratings and Reviews
We were a large group, getting together to celebrate a birthday. Firegrill had no trouble accommodating our group of 18. They were professional, friendly and offered great service. As usual, the food was excellent. I would recommend Firegrill -Downtown any time. They haven't failed me yet.
The restaurant was so loud that we did not even hear each speaking very very horrible evening I had fisished eating asked for bill and ran out so loud no service with bathroom not restaurant fault but still been there 3 times and each time we had something happened had to ask 3 times for a side dish and still the girl did not understand what we were asking for
We spend 120$ and horrible atomshere so loud wow is one word to decribe
Good food. Nice ambience. Good steak. Beet salad was a bit too sweet.
We were visiting from out of town and meeting up with some relatives for dinner. My only complaint was lack of accessibility. My son uses a wheelchair and, because the restaurant had about 10 stairs to get up to the front door, their solution for getting him in and out of the restaurant was to go down a back alley and through the kitchen! (Isn’t it considered a health hazard to have the public walk through a food prep area?!).
I find that the accessibility accommodations in Montreal seem to be very inferior to other parts of North America.
Great supper with family that met us from Ottawa. Food and service was spectacular, lamb, tuna, steaks were all fan favourites and cooked exceptionally well. Our server was above expectations as she made the whole evening perfect. Thanks so much and please try this restaurant.
Monitor were excellent! We loved people watching while we ate our dinner. Steak and vegetables and peppercorn sauce was delicious. Mitch served us and he was super attentive and helpful! It was our anniversary dinner and we enjoyed ourselves a lot. With drinks and meals it was about $100 for the 2 of us so a little on the pricy side. But still enjoyable!
This is my second visit to this restaurant. The food was very good. However, I opted for their specialty of red meat with mash potatoes. I was disappointed that there was no other vegetable. Only meat and potatoes. Beside that, the ambiance was great and over hall, the service was good.
When my parents came to visit, it was hard to find a restaurant that could cater to my mother's special allergy needs. Firegrill did a great job! There were no issues with my parents' mixed French and English, the waitress was attentive and kind, and the food was amazing. Our meal was simple but elegant, and tasted wonderful. They were fantastic at accommodating all of our needs, and I would recommend the wine list and their (gluten free!!!) chocolate brownie. My mother was able to order a garden salad and a simple salmon fillet with potato and spinach, and had no allergic issues.
We will definitely be coming back!
