Didn’t get the cocktail right, slow to take order, brought wrong meal to one person, another’s steak not done correctly, salmon was dry. We have enjoyed Firebirds for years when in town. Won’t return again.
The manager was awesome and the servers were great. Our group tends to be a little demanding because we like to have fun with our servers, both of the ladies that took care of us were great spirited and did an outstanding job.
Excellent meal with friends. Here for High Point Market and this is my second time at the Winston-Salem location. Our server was awesome and the food was excellent.
Everyone did an amazing job for our anniversary. My wife really loves it.
The food and service were outstanding and far exceeded our expectations. Highly Recommend!
Fantastic dinner!! A little noisy. Our special occasion place
Had a great evening! Our waiter Jeremy was so attentive and fun! The only complaint was the chicken kabab was a little cold and seemed under cooked. All in all it was a great experience and I will be going back.
Hands down our favorite restaurant in Winston-Salem. It's the only place where we consistently get great service and great food!
Outstanding service and food. Great restaurant
We go to Firebirds a lot. It is one of our favorite places. But on Friday night we had to wait for our table at least 10 minutes after making the reservation on open table.
The service was great but I ordered the beef kabob as did another person at our table. Both of our kabobs were cold. Very disappointed.
I still have them 4 stars because the free is usually so good.
Food was excellent; good service.
Service for the price pint could have been better .
Reliable quality in good, service , and ambiance.
Wonderful birthday experience. Scallops in sauce was excellent.
I was just expecting more from the good things I’ve heard. Not enough on the menu
Steaks were good and service was great
So disappointed, one of my favorite places to dine. Poor service, burnt food, nasty bathrooms and lack of management.
Table booked for 7pm Saturday but seated at 7:20. Otherwise rest of the experience, food, service, ambience was good to excellent.
Space, a little noisy, hard to hear across the table.
Waitress likely new and needs a bit more training. If she had checked back on us before our meal was complete she would have sold a few more beverages. She did offer to box the leftovers but then forgot to bring them back...we had to ask.
Food, as always, was fantastic!!
Food was great! Good as always. Filet was very tender and au gratin potatoes were good as well!
Friends getting together
Never fails to be a pleasant experience. Our go-to for Birthdays
Amazing service, quality food! We will be back! Excellent service staff. The wait was very reasonable. The prices were cheap and the food was very delicious.
Food is always good. Service was very good this evening.
I took my son and family for his birthday. The food was great, the service was perfect and we loved it! We will go back again but due to prices it will have to be a special occasion!
What a nightmare! We were seated quickly but it was all down hill after that. Our server never came and another one came to offer us drinks (male). We ordered a Corono, no lime, no glass. It came with both. No big deal but it shows someone not paying attention. We ordered 2 salads. One was supposed to be a BLT salad with tenderloin added. When it came it had blue cheese on it which my husband hates. He asked a 3rd server (female) why it was on the salad when the menu didn't state it was. Her very curt response was "I didn't write the menu". Finally a manager came and she said she would make it right. The 2nd one came with vinaigrette when the menu stated garlic ranch. Again he sent it back. The manager finally figured out that it was put in as a tenderloin salad, not a BLT salad. This time the dressing was right but the "tenderloin" was practically raw and he asked for it to be cooked medium. He has been in the food business for 30+ years and this was not tenderloin. He couldn't even chew it. He almost never sends back food as he knows mistakes can be made but this was completely unacceptable. Another male manager came and we explained the whole thing. He tried to tell us there was a certified butcher in house and there was no way this was not tenderloin.
I was disappointed that the Mahi was no longer on the menu. That was my family's favorite and we came often to get that.
The noise level is a little high. But, the food is way beyond excellent. My wife and I have been to Firebird's Wood Fired Grill in Winston-Salem now three times in the last 6 months, and we will undoubtedly go back again. We have tried different things each time we visited, and everything was terrific, including the service. The aged steaks are tender, New York strip, filet mignon (with and without bleu cheese sauce), rib eye, for example, and they are always cooked accurately to order. The Kobe meatloaf is not to be missed for something different and delicious, and you will be so glad that you tried it; it is served with green beans mixed with pecans, and that is a great side in itself. Meanwhile, the Caesar salad it the best in town as far as I am concerned. On my first visit there, just to give it a try, I also had the best ever anywhere center cut sirloin steak; what a surprise it was to have such an outstanding sirloin steak. Treat yourself or treat your guests from out of town to a meal there. I would say that dining there is a little on the expensive side, but I think that you will not be disappointed; instead, you will be impressed with the whole experience, and especially with the food. Somebody there know what should be done prepare a great meal.
As usual the overall experience at firebirds was very good. This was our 55th wedding anniversary and we came to firebirds because it is our favorite restaurant in town.
We love dining at Firebirds, always!! We always request Nicole C. She’s the very best there is in the business!!! Your food is always cooked to perfection and we never have to send anything back, ever!! We ordered the Salmon and the Tuna both at our table and they were both cooked perfectly!!! We will continue us to dine at Firebirds!!
Great food and atmosphere. Always a treat!
Food was delicious 😋
Favorite restaurant !
Our server, Jared, was knowledgeable, friendly and prompt. The filet was absolutely marvelous. The steak, salad and side special was a fantastic deal.
Always a good experience at Firebirds.
Our food was fine. The waiter was terrible. The first wait staff at our table literally walked away while we were trying to determine if we were going to order an appetizer. It took forever it seemed for our food to come. He did not ask or offer bread to us. When my friends ordered dessert, the whip cream on the key lime pie was melted because it sat under the heat lamp while we were apparently waiting for them to make more whip cream for the cheesecake- which was amazing by the way. We spoke with a manager who was more than nice and offered us a gift card, which we will not use because we will not be returning.
SO DISAPPOINTED and so expensive...
Celebrating a birthday. Server was excellent, he was very attentive to our table.
Food was excellent prepared just like we asked. Very timely. Tiffany our waitress was one of the best I’ve had wait on us in many years‼️ Noise level was a little high due to a large party behind us at the dead end of the room. Overall a5 Star experience.
We always enjoy eating here. We particularly like the salmon & we know that the service will be great. Nicole was outstanding as always!
