   In the past Firebirds has been one of my favorites restaurants . Today I was really disappointed. I realize it was Mother’s Day, but the quality of my food was not great. My husband ordered a sirloin and I got the filet. Both of our steaks were charred and over done. My daughter had a chicken Caesar salad and the chicken was burnt. Our Caesar salads were wilted tasting and not what I am use to when I eat at Firebirds. For the price we paid I just feel like I could have gone to Texas Roadhouse and had better food at a cheaper price. It is disappointing because this truly is one of my favorite places to go out for something special. I think I will be looking for a new favorite spot.

   Our experience overall was good. However, service was slow. We waited for 15 minutes for a reserved table. We waited way too long for our drinks and appetizers. Over 20 minutes for drinks and close to 30 for the appetizers. Wait staff was pleasant but not equipped to deal with a room of larger tables. Once we got our food we were generally pleased. The steak in the steak salad was a bit light but tastes were good.

   it was delicious - usually always is but last night was off the charts. noise level can be high but it was also Day before Mother's day so lots of families and kids.

   The way we were treated by the hostess and hosts that checked us in for our 7:30 reservation ruined the evening.  We waited over 30 minutes to be seated. We were a party of two and could over here them making the decision to seat parties of three or four before us over and over, even though we had checked in first, had a reservation, and had been waiting. For example, the one boy said to seat the party of three and just wait for a two-person table for us. “We’re not going to waste a booth on them,” he said, loud enough for us to hear. We waited twenty minutes more after we heard him say that. It was hurtful because we had a reservation and deserved a table.  The waitress was very nice and the food was good, but after listening to the comments and having to wait so long, it was difficult to enjoy the night.

   I want to explicitly say the only reason for even 3 stars on service was our server, Asia, she was amazing. We arrive roughly 13 minutes prior to our reservation to be told “we’ll let you know your table closer to your reserved time”. I didn’t realize 13 minutes was that far ahead to not just be told something more professional such as “your table will be ready in just a moment”. Then we are taken to our table and the booth seat was still wet with crumbs on it and the table had a wet circle as well. Letting a passing by server know this, she grabs napkins and just hands them to my fiancée (whose birthday we are there to celebrate for in the first place) for us to wipe down ourselves. I personally got the aged ribeye, ordered medium-well, and was given a steak that was completely overcooked to where it was nearly difficult to cut. This is very disappointing as we have been to this Firebirds location at least a dozen times and have never experienced this. As much as we were looking forward to dinner this night, we left extremely disappointed. The ONLY bright spot for the restaurant was our server, Asia, who was bubbly and attentive but not overbearing. Needless to say, we will probably be looking for a new restaurant to celebrate special occasions.

   The staff made my our dinner very special after my son’s graduation!! We had a private room! They made a sign and had 2 balloons in the center of the table! The service was amazing and the food was fantastic!!

   Busy Sunday night at the restaurant. Very loud. Crowded. Server might have been a little "green". Many missed items during service.
