The food is always great.
We were there for my girlfriends birthday and made note of that when we made the reservations.
The waiter seemed a bit undertrained.
In addition to our entries we ordered a grilled shrimp dish. We specifically asked for no pepper. He forgot and the shrimp were covered in pepper. We almost had to spit them out. Sent them back and they made them correctly.
When the waiter brought the birthday dessert we asked for a spoon to eat the I've cream. Spoon never showed up and waiter never came back until it was time for the check.
We decided to eat at Firebirds when it turned out that the restaurant we intended to eat at was closed on Mondays. We arrived around 7:30 and were immediately seating. The ambiance is warm and comfortable.
My wife had the tenderloin salad and she really liked it. I had one of their burgers and I thought it was good.
We'd visit again.
It was ok for the price. We have spent less for better quality. I don’t mind paying at all for awesome food.
I thought the price of drinks was excessive compared to the meal. One drink was equal to the price of a dinner.
Fairly quick service and everything was good value. Some tables seem too close together
The service and food were great. We had the petite filet mignon and it was cooked perfectly.
Food was decent. Atmosphere is really odd. Very bright and very loud. Felt like a cafeteria more than a nice restaurant. Good for large groups, do not recommend for a date night,
This restaurant has a varied and delicious menu. We are not red meat eaters, but we find plenty of voices here, including some very healthy ones. The place is busy, but the service is courteous and thoughtful. The wine list is a bit limited, but there are some good selections at reasonable prices.
Family dinner with a 6 year old. Fast, accommodating, pleasant staff. Great steaks.
Sadly the steaks were way over salted and the huge serving of potatoes was a waste. the management made up for it and did a good job of having our steaks redone.
I just think the serving was uninspired. A steak and a pile of potatoes is just not an attractive plating.
Even just some slight embellishment would help. Also, why wouldn’t a salad be a side you could choose? $7 for a small side salad is crazy. Just charge $5 more for the meat dish.
Very good overall. Menu has a nice variety of options.
Our food and service were fantastic. The server (wish I'd gotten her name) was friendly and accommodating of our special requests. Great place!
This is my favorite restaurant in Tucson the service everytime and food is to die for I would vouch for this restaurant forever
So glad much has returned to normal - vibrant ambiance, great food, great service!
Anniversary dinner & everything was perfect
Excellent service and food! My wife and I were there for our Anniversary dinner and we were very pleased with the whole experience!
Awesome experience and excellent service. Until next time!
Double check silverware before folding into napkin. My knife had dried food on it. Waitress did get exchanged right away.
busy and noisy, but good food at a reasonable price considering the location and setting
Great service! Salmon was just eh. Steak was good, ribs were good.
Booking through Open Table made making the reservation easy.
The spinach salad was awesome. Drink selection was limited. Parking was a little far, but great ambiance and food!
We were celebrating a birthday for out of state family. Service, food etc. was all we expected. The family members are from Cleveland, Ohio, and they tell us they will be finding the Firebirds in that city when they return next month.
Great menu, personable service and excellent food.
Thoroughly enjoyed every bite.
The food was excellent and our server did an outstanding job. The noise level was quite loud and objectionable making it difficult to hold a conversation. The high noise level made what could have been a great experience into an unpleasant experience. How about installing wall and ceiling mounted acoustic sound panels and other sound reducing methods?
The steaks were over cooked and tasteless. Our server was great
Going there after the lunch rush is over, around 1:30, makes a big difference. Great service. Always love the grilled shrimp and strawberry salad. Another wonderful time at FB.
Very busy. Veterans day. Make reservations. Felt the waiter was new. Had to ask for the complimentary bread. Onion rings were cold. Filet was delicious
I brought my veteran husband and another couple to this restaurant because they were offering a free entre for all veterans on Veteran's Day and it's a nice place. Loved it. We had a spunky waitress, April, who was super fun. My husband and one friend had the filet mignon and the 2nd friend had prime rib. All said they were fantastic. I had the spicy asiago chicken pasta. I have to say I was less impressed with my dish than my husband's. His was tender and cooked just right. Mine was a bit too salty. I love salt so I know I'm not exaggerating. I guess I could have sent it back but I just wasn't wanting to do that. The dessert my husband picked was fantastic, though. The big daddy chocolate cake is probably the best chocolate cake I have EVER had. Very dark and rich. They gave us my dinner free since it was the cheapest. Man, I should have gotten filet mignon! LOL. Note to self, next year, get the prime rib or filet mignon. :)
Tonight was in honor of our veterans. Restaurant was packed. Had reservations however still had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. The food was good and the staff did a good job taking care of their customers.
The Veterans Day crowd was heavy but staff and service handled it all quite well and my food was perfectly prepared
Great experience!! Food was delicious, service was exceptional considering it was veterans day and one meal was free. Restaurant was crowded yet the food came out on time and HOT!! Young waitress was excellent and attentive!!
Only drawback too noisy!!
Firebirds was Graciously providing a free meal to Veterans. They were very busy. As a result the food was average, but the service and drinks were very good. Firebirds is an asset to our community.
Food, value and service exceeded expectations. Never disappointed. We had reservations and were seated within a couple of minutes of our arrival. The only criticism I could have was the noise level. This was Veterans Day and the place was full so we expected increased noise. Even with the noise, we had no difficulty with normal level conversation.
Another great meal at Firebirds! We were seated within 5 minutes of our reservation time. Although we had to wait longer for our order to be taken, it was Veterans Day when veterans eat free and they were swamped. We knew to expect this, having done this before. It also slowed the delivery of our meal, but, again, something you should expect under these circumstances.
A great dining experience. The food was superb as was the service. We'll go back for a repeat many times.
Everything is always great I eat there alone really awesome
Food was excellent however, one steak was not medium rare but was returned to the kitchen and a replacement steak was obtained within minutes. We appreciate the good service and our server, Jasmine, was excellent. We also thank you for honoring the veterans on Veteran's Day.
On a spur of the moment, we made reservations at Firebirds for Veterans Day. We normally don't hit the restaurants on a holiday but tables were available at 3:30pm, so we went.
We both tried new dishes from our usual Caesar salads. My Wife had the Pair 2 - Flounder sandwich and side caesar, and I tried the Philly Eggroll. we were both very pleased with our meals. The fish was tasty and I really enjoyed the egg rolls. Both were large portions (at least for us).
I really appreciated the Vets Day BOGO.
Our Wait Staff (Kayla M) was very attentive and wasn't intrusive but checked on us often.
Thanks Kayla and Firebirds. It was a great meal.
The food was really good. My au gratin potatoes were not quite as hot as I would have preferred. Ordered Bud Light draft, it was flat and they replaced it with a different brand.
