Firebirds Wood Fired Grill - Tucson
I decided to take a date with me so he could try the food. Turns out he really liked his Ahi Tuna that he ordered. I ordered the sesame seed salmon and it came out nice and hot cooked perfectly. Only complaint I have is that they left the fried spinach but quickly replaced it with broccoli. We had good service but think our meal came a bit quick since we had just sat down. It was probably 20 minutes into the time we sat down then got our food. But overall the food and drink were really good. Definitely plan to return in the near future.
Good food and service. Entertained 2 other couples.
Right off we were disappointed when we were told we would have to accept a table rather than be given a booth even though we called ahead and made reservations. It was explained to us that we had to request a booth when we made reservations. (It would have been nice if they had told us that when we called.). My Ahi Tuna salad was good, but my husband’s prime rib was not. Our particular waiter was not very attentive. Several of the other waiters stepped up and filled the gap.
Prime Rib was fantastic! We enjoyed our Pineapple Martini drink too.
Delicious salmon luncheon. Staff very helpful in adjusting the selection of sides, etc.
Birthday lunch with my son and family. We enjoyed the lunch, company, and the special birthday dessert.
Great food, great service. Will definitely come again and tell others.
Firebirds is the restaurant we go to for special occasions. We are never disappointed.
Great place to take older folks for lunch. All amenities great except for the food.
Adequate lunch entrees, very poor side dishes of the mixed vegetables (smelled & tasted bad).
I keep coming back when with my parents however I eat elsewhere when not with them, and incidentally, I am a senior citizen too.
Really good place to get some great food and be able to sit and talk
It was really good for a chain restaurant
Disappointed that felt rushed all evening by staff. Also, saw poor table clean up procedure. Have not been here for about a year, but don’t plan on returning because of this experience.
The food is usually good the cosmopolitan was ok not the best but better than most restaurants. The noise level was a bit high.
Great service and the food was amazing. We will definitely be going back.
Our order was perfectly prepared & the presentation outstanding. My husband tried their pork chop special. It was my husband’s birthday & it did not disappoint! And in addition the waiter & staff couldn’t have been more attentive & amiable.
The food and service was great. We had Mark as our server, he is very good plus Assistant Manager Jessica stopped by the table a few times checking in on us.
Firebird's is always great. Looking forward to getting back there.
our order took forever, honestly we think we where forgotten.
we had a Piña colada and turn out terrible more like a slush, we didn't pay for it per my request. waiter was very tired probably he was running everywhere, maybe people missing, bad management for sure.
steak was rare, instead of medium. wine was about the only thing good! the rest is bad, hope they change in the future is a nice place inside. doesn't match the food and service.
The whole experience was great. Filet was cooked melt in your mouth perfect and the blue cheese cream sauce with mushrooms kicked it up to a whole new level of greatness. Summer scallops on pesto were tender and refreshing on a summer day. Service was very attentative and friendly. He went out of his way to make it memorable. The whole experience was perfect. Worth every bit of the money. Thank you I'll definetly be back.
Steak was superb, perfectly cooked. Wait staff were polite and accommodating. Friday night for dinner, thought maybe the patrons would wear something nicer than flip flops and tank tops.
Well, not the greatest dinner. Went there with a hot date and ended up with a tough steak and she did not enjoy her salmon. Very disappointing, but our gay server was as good of a server as you could hope for. The atmosphere and price would indicate fine dining, but the inexcusably bad food left me wishing I had chosen another eatery.
The food, service, ambiance - the best. It's why I eat at Firebirds twice a month.
Firebirds is always a great experience. They offer a great menu and always deliver a great product.
We were there on Father's Day and they were busy. We got a great window table.
Brandon was our server, very good. Plus it is always great to see Jessica who is the assistant GM of the restaurant. She always makes you feel welcome . Plus Sergio (Managing Partner) takes a hands on approach to the restaurant and also make you feel welcome.
We never get tired of going to Firebird's.
A nice Father's day for my husband to enjoy a great meal. Oh, me too!!
The food we ordered was excellent except for the green bean side dish. It did not have much flavor and they were undercooked.
Really great food and service I stood highly recommend
Cost for our dinner of 3, included 3 wines, 3 steak entrees & 3 salads, was $227 with tip. If we'd known the cost would that much we would have gone to Flemings or Sullivan's. TOO EXPENSIVE!
Great food and atmosphere. It was my birthday and the free dessert was fabulous! Overall, great dining experience. Haven't found the equivalent in Las Vegas where I live.
If you want a fabulous steak cooked perfectly, this is the place to go! Also the salads are fantastic! Half price drinks Monday to Friday 4-7 Try the ribs.
Food was great, server was outstanding but I brought my parents for their first visit and my dad was ready to walk out when the beer list left off Bud Light. You might want to add it.
The food is consistently good and the service is consistently speedy and friendly.
We have never been disappointed here. The grilled salmon salad is my go to.
Outstanding dining experience. Great service, fantastic food, lots of menu items. Drinks were good, we had a great time.
I expect it to be good to great and so far it always has been.
Excellent as always!
We celebrated my 39th birthday here and it was not a great choice. The food, for the most part, was good but the service is why I only gave a 3 star rating. We ordered the Lobster queso as an appetizer and it came out cold. We let our server know and when he brought it back it was in a much smaller dish and still wasn’t warmed up. It wasn’t busy in the dining area but somehow, everything was slow. The water took forever to get to the table and we saw servers, ours included, and other employees just standing around chatting. Our meals arrive, I ordered the salmon, my husband the meatloaf and the boys got different burgers. The burgers had a char flavor that the younger boy didn’t care for but he can be picky so, no big deal. The rest of the food was excellent but sadly we will not be returning due to the slow, unenthusiastic service. We love the other establishments in the area so we will take our business to places that value their customers a bit more.
Wonderful birthday lunch!!
Awesome food and great service. Bought a gift card for a friend. Will definitely go back.
I had rack of ribs. They were overcooked, and were not very meaty, like they came from a starving animal. She had surf and turf, ordered medium rare filet, got medium to medium well. Not evenly cooked. Lobster was tough. Baked potato very good. I have been coming here on occasion for a few years and the last two times my table was not the only one within earshot with dissatisfied customers.
Great food and atmosphere. Sat outside and it was perfect with the spray misters.
5/28/2019. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The salmon was excellent; the shrimp a bit bland & lemon cake a bit dry. All things considered we had a great time & loved the environment. The noise level was much less at this time of year.
Server was awesome thank you! Love the mash potatoes ‘
