Making reservation was so easy. Restaurant was wonderful.

Enjoyed our experience, food was good, service great and felt safe considering the current conditions!

Firebirds is our go to place for special occasions. This is the first time we've eaten indoors at a restaurant since the pandemic. Our service was good, but the food was lacking this time (steak wasn't cooked as ordered, kids meal didn't look fresh). We understand that things aren't normal right now, so it doesn't affect our opinion of Firebirds. We will definitely be going back soon.

Great food, quiet atmosphere and friendly service!

First time in a restaurant since COVID-19 shutdown. I was a little concerned swing that a lot of the kitchen staff had their masks under their noses. And a manager came by our table to talk to us and took off her mask completely. Food was great! Tables spread apart. Great service.

I made a reservation on line for 6/20 at the Short Pump location. I was given the option of choosing indoor or outdoor seating and chose outdoor. The reservation confirmation indicates outdoor seating for 3 at 1pm. When we arrived I was told they did not know we wanted outdoor seating and did not have outdoor seating available. Once seated we asked to speak to a manager because it was so cold in the restaurant we wanted to move outside as indicated on our reservation confirmation. The manager came over and told us outdoor seating was first come first served. I showed her the confirmation email I received and she said she was not sure how that happened. The service was great and the food was great. If reserving outdoor seating is not an option, please do not offer it as an option in the online reservation app.

Great food, great service, and a pretty good wine selection.

Waitress was prepared during COVID-19 protocols.

Steak was overcooked (ordered med-rare, cooked well done), broccoli was limp (how can you mess up broccoli ?)
A fair amount of gristle for $22 steak. Be ready to chew.

House wine (cabriolet) was ordered. Expected ea glass to be $7 or so . $13 each!!!

On the plus side, the shared chocolate layered dessert was great!

$110 meal (2 people , 2 steaks , 2 glasses of wine )

The food was good, limited menu available. The service was really slow given the fact that the restaurant was only half occupied due to covid.

Firebirds is our favorite restaurant in Richmond. Food is delicious with a varied menu. Service is always outstanding.

Everything went great

Food was amazing. The waiter was a bit busy so didn’t see him to much once our meal arrived to the table . Prices are a tad high two steak dinners we paid 130$ down side they ran out of a specific brand of liquor and charge us more for their lack of . Other than that the experience was great

Finally made it back to Firebirds! I really enjoy coming here as the food is consistently good. This time I came to catch up with an old friend. We ate and visited for a couple hours and enjoyed the food. The service was good. The food was good (between the two of us we had: wings, salmon and a chicken Caesar salad). The best part of the afternoon was being able to enjoy a couple hours with an old friend. Thank you Firebirds for allowing us to just eat and visit without feeling rushed. I will be back!

The food was delicious. It is a little on the pricier side, but an awesome environment and great service.

The service was very good but the food is too expensive

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Wait staff and management were young inexperienced and condescending. Steak was overcooked. Hard to evaluate the food since our appetites were ruined by the server Sean who made multiple inappropriate comments to the table. Party of 6 senior citizens who dine regularly and all agreed we have NEVER been treated so disrespectfully. We will never go back there.

We each enjoyed our food. Steaks were delicious as was the salmon. Appetizers of lobster queso was great. Was so nice to have a pleasant experience as restaurants welcome back their patrons. Can’t wait to visit again.

The steaks are always delicious, tender and cooked to your preference. The staff is very attentive and they always make sure you have a wonderful dining experience. The waiter also wished us a happy anniversary when he greeted us. Awesome place to eat!

I have always enjoyed eating at Firebirds-Short Pump and after 3 months of take out, I couldn't wait to enjoy dinner "inside" a restaurant! The atmosphere, service, and food didn't disappoint! However, I was disappointed with the price of 1 glass of wine-$14.00! I'm not a wine connoisseur and generally order what's on happy hour or the house wine. I was informed they were not offering happy hour due to limited seating. When I then requested the house cabernet my waiter quickly suggested I consider the wine he recommended. Shame on me for not determining the cost of his wine suggestion before agreeing. I know restaurant employees have suffered during this pandemic but, we're all struggling! It just seemed as if the restaurant goal was more focused on revenue and less on the needs of their customers.

Awesome experience everytime we eat there. The manager & staff always makes us feel like family. My Eight year old daughter and I have been coming for years. We love Firebirds Short Pump

Very hot inside the restaurant, we were all sweating and the ice melted in our drinks in about 5 minutes. Hamburger was overcooked. The server was aware of it but didn't offer to take it off, she then spilled ketchup on the floor that went on my sons leg and shoes staining his socks and shoe laces and still a manager never came over and nothing was offered to us as an apology. I realize they were short staffed but I probably wont go back for a long time, our dinner was over $200 and not worth it at all.

Everything was great! The server was friendly. The meal was perfect.

Under the circumstances everything went well. Seating was scattered and missed drink refill once.

Food is always good and the service is great. Our waitress was Petra on Saturday, June 6th and she was wonderful.

The experience over all was positive. The service and atmosphere was very good. The salmon was dry and over cooked. I’ve had the salmon here before and i just chalked it up to a one-time thing. I’ll definitely go back.

It was a great first experience dining out after quarantine and I felt so safe.

Best steak I’ve ever had. Fantastic service

The bottom line with any restaurant is the question “would I go again?” Unfortunately the answer to this restaurant is “no.” Service was excellent and the atmosphere very nice but the food was generic and streamlined. The salmon was undercooked and flavorless and the filet had an aftertaste. As a side note I overheard the “sommelier” state that Monterey county is in the Napa Valley. Monterey county is south of San Francisco where the city of Monterey is located. Over 100 miles south of Napa.

We ate on the patio. So nice. Susan was the perfect waitress. Excellent service.
We will definitely return.

Great food and service

Firebirds did an excellent job of making us feel safe during the COVD-19 pandemic. In fact I recommend this to our friends.

Anniversary. We were offered a free dessert for the occasions. Outdoor seating was great

We had a great lunch on the patio...all 3 lunches and drinks were prepared perfectly. I had the grilled salmon and my daughter had the chicken salad and both proteins were cooked perfectly. The service was great as well. Highly recommend!

The food was excellent as usual and the waitress ( Kayla ) was exceptional!!!

Overpriced not well cooked food. Service was slow with only 4 tables. It was not somewhere I will go back to. Host was not knowledgeable about ANYTHING relating to seating.

Wonderful to be outside and eat with my family.
