Good job by Firebirds for holding their traditional Restaurant Week price. Too many raised their price.
Food was excellent as usual. Service as well
70th birthday dinner
Restaurant Week specials were a great value. Server, Chris, was attentive, polite, and personable. He made the dining experience enjoyable.
Very good atmosphere and wonderful food. Service excellant
All around very relaxing and enjoyable. It was easy to carry a conversation on. Waitress and staff were very friendly and attentive.
Food and service are spectacular.
Firebirds Burgers are the best. The salads are exceptional - no matter what you choose. The variety of the menu is huge.
A big vote of thanks to our marvelous server who kept six women so happy that I think she is a magician. I also want to thank her for not getting annoyed with all the changes to the different entrees. Hoping she had a relaxing evening because she really worked hard during this lunchtime.
The restaurant is awfully busy and it was way too noisy for me but is it really popular and the food and service are the reason. I could eat here every day.
Thanks for a great afternoon and six happy women. I would definitely have our next luncheon there but use a weekday not a Saturday.
Food is good and service is good. Always consistent
Overall the experience was okay. Unfortunately the bottle of wine I purchased was much warmer than it should’ve been and our food came out room temperature. I think for the price those things should have been corrected. The ambience was mediocre…dimmer lighting and music playing would be better. I think an upgrade to the appetizer menu is needed as well.
As always Firebirds is quality. The dinner special was super. Each member of our group had a wonderful meal!
Thanks to the manager for looking for my husband's lost billfold, even though we know he was very busy.
We made reservations through the Restaurant week program. We really enjoyed the food and service. Chris was very attentive and knew the entire menu. Will be back.
Really good in every way!! Will surely return! Excellent!
Excellent food and service. Took advantage of the 3 course Restaurant Week special.
Firebirds has been hit or miss lately. Our food (restaurant week seems to be the week restaurants cut back on their quality) was just okay - ordered rare prime rib and got an end?? Steak was VERY small on the special. Waitress seemed overwhelmed. We literally had to yell at her to get her attention to get water after we finished eating. Got dessert with the special, asked for ONE to go and she brought them ALL out to go (including ice cream that was melting in the bag). Just not our best meal there for sure.
Our server was terrific and we were seated close to our reservation time. The place is really noisy tho.
Sirloin with blue cheese & port mushrooms was amazing. Don, our server at the Peoria location was fantastic. Couldn't have been better!
We had to remind the waitress we ordered salads then she brought them out mid eating dinner. Wayyyy to much salad dressing on one salad. One dinner was cold (prime rib) very loud and was not able to visit with friends( 6 people in our party. ) Not the experience I thought it would have been. Disappointed.
Our visit was during restaurant week and we were not disappointed.
Our server was Ken and he was awesome and attentive
.food was delicious.
Also looked at happy hour menu and will try it out sometime
Our first time here and we were not disappointed! Food was excellent and Chris our server was top notch! Would go back again and highly recommend!
Great food as always but the server was obnoxious. We have always had great service but yesterday just wasn’t great. Thinking the gal has to be new but kept forgetting our orders and interrupting us and our guests.
We were here during restaurant week & truly enjoyed the luncheon salmon. Celebrated my birthday & the creme brûlée cheesecake was the bomb! Thank you Firebirds!
We went to Firebirds on restaurant week for the $33 special. The food was great, as always, but the staffing seemed unusually short and we waited 35 minutes after our reserved time. The waiter seemed overworked and service was slow. This was not the case when we ate at Firebirds the week before.
Service was very slow. Almost everyone sitting near us ordered off of the Restaurant Week menu. We were a group of 5 but many of those around us with groups of 4 were seated after us but received them food long before we did. Our waitress never came to ask for additional drink orders.
All four of us enjoyed our three course specials.
Went with good friends for dinner for Restaurant Week so the restaurant was very busy. Despite being short staffed our waiter was punctual, courteous and made every effort to see we had a pleasant experience. The special menu was reasonably priced with adequate choices of entrees. Both we and our friends were happy with our choices and the food was delicious. Firebirds has long been one our favorite go to restaurants. I now think our friends would concur.
Women's restroom filty and smell like rot. Service slow esp getting drinks to the table. Coleslaw not edible. Fries cold. tables were sticky. Booth seat holes and crumbs everywhere. No floor manager anywhere. We were from out of town for a biz lunch and had reservations. The only bright spot was the friendly nice hostesses.
One of my favorite restaurants. Always tasty food and great service. Awesome!
Wonderful place never disappointed We will definitely be going again
We've been Firebirds fans for many years. Often dine at Firebirds in other cities. We had an off night a few days ago. The staff was friendly and courteous as is most often the case even in these challenging times of hiring. The salmon dish for me was great. My fiance's steak on the other hand was severely overcooked. It was obvious when they brought out the plate. Not sure why they even tried to pass it off. Don't serve bad food! We tried to take a bite but it was not edible. The potatoes had a weird consistency as well. They offered to grill another steak but we did not want to wait. The manager did discount the meal which she ate none of, but that was it. We came out for a special occasion which ended up being a dud. I really think they should have comped the bottle of wine we had at the very least ($24 on half price night). I'm sure we'll go back eventually, but it has soured our opinion.
The food was outstanding. At our table we had Filet, Prime Rib, & Sides with Dessert.
Everything was cooked to perfection. Greg did a wonderful job serving us.
Thank you! We will definately recommend Firebirds to all our friends. See you Soon!
Firebirds continues to be one of our favorites. But they really fouled up last evening: they served the salad ( always excellent ) simultaneous with the main course. Many upset customers. As we were also. It's not without some history that courses are numbered sequentially rather than alphabetically.
Will have to wait 10-15 minutes even with a reservation.
My husbands and I enjoyed a delicious meal during the restaurant week. I had the bacon wrapped filet and he had the salmon, both with BLT salad and creme brulée cheesecake. Both meals were cooked perfectly and were delectable. We both tried the Dirty Bird martini with blue cheese olives as well - yummy!
Great food, service and atmosphere. The carrot caked with salted caramel, was delicious and big enough for two.
Excellent food and service for restaurant week.
Service was sporadic and erratic. Had a 6:30 reservation but wasn't seated till 6:50. Server was lack luster but competent. Food looked good but was over cooked and lacked flavor. Time between courses was over 20min. Went here for restaurant week but will not try again. The highlight was the carrot cake. The only part of my meal I was able to finish.
Streak was cooked as requested. Our table was ready on time.
Food was amazing. Typical prices for a higher end restaurant. Highly recommend for a date night.
Firebird's consistently delivers good food and an enjoyable atmosphere. Four of us ate and three of us had excellent food. The other person, while the food was good, didn't think it measured up to Firebirds standards.
The server was excellent and a treat to be around. Her name is Klaire and worth asking for her table.
I had the filet mignon and it was excellent
the salad was awesome.
it was all fantastic
will be back
