Often go to firebirds! My entree choice this time of the year is the shrimp and strawberry salad….. It is delicious! Never disappointed. Our server was delightful and she has a great smile. She was very attentive to my husband and me! Definitely recommend! CPope

This was our first time at this establishment. My Wife and I went for our 10 year Anniversary. They had a table set up for us with candles, flowers and a card signed by the staff . It was a Great experience we knew that it was going to be pricey and it was about what we expected. The Lobster queso was delicious and the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls had amazing flavor. Our main course was cooked to perfection we are used to a little more seasoning but it was good the Cheesecake was the best we have ever had !! All in All I’d give it a 9 out of 10 and will go back ! Thanks for making our Anniversary Dinner one to remember.

I eat here monthly and always get the shrimp and strawberry salad because it it sooo good! There are many great choices on the menu and someday I will venture out to try something else. We used to come to Happy Hour and with the nicer weather, I plan on doing that again soon.

We’ve always had a great experience at Firebirds! We generally make a reservation and never wait once we arrive. From the welcome at the hostess stand to the the great server (Abby) to a scrumptious dinner (love the wood grilled salmon!) to the hello and how is everything from the manager, we are always well taken care of! Our server seemed more intent in providing quick service & not wanting us to enjoy our dining experience. She didn’t offer dessert although we wanted it. That would’ve added potentially another $30-$40 to our ticket, plus I would have tipped her 10% more than I did on the total ticket. My steak was ordered medium rare, but came out medium to well done in the ends. The food runner dropped the food, the server didn’t check on us for another 20 minutes. By then I ate what I could, but she didn’t even ask how the food tasted. She only asked if we needed more drinks. I love Firebirds, but this was not a stellar dining experience thst I’ve had in the past. I need to find a new fav!

I ordered the salmon, BLT, and it was very fishy tasting. The photo that they have advertising it looks like a beautiful steak sandwich with fresh lettuce in two slices of salmon. It wasn’t what was presented at all. Very disappointed.

The food was very good but our server needed some additional training. She forgot to bring a starter salad to our table. She also forgot to bring out our bread. My wife had several questions about the menu and the server had to make trips to kitchen to ask someone else. We have eatten there several times before and this was the first time we had any issues. I would just say it was an off night.

I never have anything I don’t like at Firebirds. I had a seasonal menu item, a salmon with creamed spinach on top, over a Parmesan mashed potato bed. I’m still thinking about it..! I highly recommend this place. Manager came out to greet everyone, which in itself is extra special

My wife and I decided to try a different restaurant for our wedding anniversary dinner. We chose Firebirds Wood Fired Grill in Overland Park and couldn’t be more pleased! Everyone was friendly - from the intern hostess to the manager - which added to a wonderful evening. The icing on the cake of our enjoyable experience was our waiter, Josh. He was polite, friendly, knowledgeable and really understood how to cater to our taste. The food and house brand wine were delicious, and the cost was the best bang for our buck in a long time! We've been coming to this restaurant weekly since it opened. We had a 7:15 pm reservation Monday and were seated immediately. The server approached us immediately and we ordered a bottle of wine. It took nearly 25 minutes before the wine was brought to the table (7:39 pm). We order mixed green salads and two filet mignon specials, medium rare. The cuts were somewhat fatty, seamed small for a 7oz filet and most importantly came out over cooked. My wife's was medium +, which she ate and mine came out well done. The waitress was kind enough to take it back, but by the time a new one was served my wife was mostly finished with her meal. An assistant manager offered us a complimentary desert "for our inconvenience", however we do not eat deserts. It is doubtful we will return anytime soon.

Used to be a favorite date spot for my wife and I but the last 2 times have been an awful experience. The lobster queso is still wonderful. However, both of our steaks had a sour taste like the meat was bad. it was not the age of the aging, I can tell the difference, it was just old meat. In addition to this, more than half of my ribeye was unrendered fat and inedible. Service was also terrible. The waitress did not check on us often and left us without refills or even checking in. Compounding on all of this, there were gnats and fruit flies around our table. Definitely will not be back for a long long time which is sad because we used to come every couple months or so.

We are regulars at this restaurant. The last 3 times my steak has been cooked completely wrong. By the time it’s taken back and comes our correct my husbands food is cold. So last night I tried a chicken pasta super simple asked for no onions or tomatoes. Wouldn’t ya know they couldn’t even get that one right. We had to ask multiple times for drink refills and for bread. Our salad never came out so 30 mins into the wait we asked where the salads were. The manager came over and apologized offered a free desert and would be back to check on us. Over 30 mins later she still has not returned to check on us or shuts our bill. For the amount of money we spend here food and service should not be this bad.

I hosted a fairly large group for a business dinner and I would say it was average at best. Some of the food was good, some of it was pretty meh. My steak was over-cooked which was disappointing. We had one server who seemed stretched pretty thin, so overall it was not a great experience. I have generally had better experiences there, so would chalk it up to an off night.

The service was incredibly slow. They ran out of baked potatoes. The steaks were overly seasoned with pepper. The cost of the meals are insane and when you don’t even have all the ingredients how can you still charge full price?
