Food and service were excellent. I will go back again
I had the egg rolls for an appetizer, they were excellent. The prime rib was tender and juicy. I will definitely return soon.
Awesome food. Incredible service! Will definitely be dining here again.
Celebrated my Mom’s 94th Birthday! Her four children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were in attendance. Service was excellent! Our server, Dej and her assistants were very attentive and polite. The hostess who greeted us at the door was polite and friendly. Restrooms were clean and all safety procedures were apparent.
The waitress was slow, disorganized and forgetful . We had to summon a Manager who apologized for our being there for close to TWO HOURS! Don’t know if we’ll return
Very good overall experience. A bit overpriced. And, it was annoying that they don’t have any decaf coffee. I’ve never heard of that. Not a big deal, but an annoyance
My food was blend and flavorless. The host was nice but we felt rushed during the dining experience. Overall I would consider coming back because the drinks were good but the food is just ok.
We were there for a birthday and it was a good experience
All good except waitress was fair at best. Paid minimal attention to us.
This is my favorite eatery. My two sisters and myself went out to celebrate two of our birthdays. The appetizers were cold, but we didn't complain it was still good but would of been better hot. The waiter had to be hailed down( excuse me sir ) We didn't get any water and had to ask to order drinks. We also had to tell him (hailed him down) to let him know we were ready to order. Through all the bad service Firebirds is still my favorite.
My overall review is that although I felt slightly rushed, my server was efficient professional and courteous. I most certainly would recommend any and all to visit your restaurant. I was there with my nieces for our annual uncle and niece lunch however I am looking forward to bringing my wife on my next visit. I would love to give five stars across the board I can't only because I slightly felt rushed to finish and go. We'll see what happens next time. However I did enjoy my nieces. Whomever the hostess was she was welcoming kind and again much like the server professional, I'll brag about the salmon plate that I had to anyone that will listen. Have a great day until the next time I visit I'll remember the experience. Thank you.
Steak was over cooked and flavorless but the shrimp add on was very flavorful.
Why management thought it would be a good idea to let a new person (day 2 of work) provide service for a table of 5 by herself is baffling. Our drink orders were wrong; one of my friends didn't even drink her drink. The wrong drink another friend received was some pineapple drink that I am confident no one would drink but also was missing its fruit the entire night and just sat there. Food was so-so - loved the eggroll app and the deviled eggs but salad was swimming in dressing. Finally had received a $25 gc from manager for a prior awful experience and was told when I went to pay that there was no money on it! I informed our poor server that she needed to work with management on that and honor the card I was provided previously. Will not be back - if it weren't for the awesome company of friends; would not have stayed.
Terrible dining experience. The restaurant was very slow, only one other table. There was no excuse for the extremely slow service we received. They were out of two of the wines we ordered from the menu. We waited so long for the wine we did order we finally flagged down the manager to pick it up from the bar. Our waitress was sitting in a booth folding napkins. I ordered a filet mignon medium rare. It was raw. Since no staff was insight, I walked to the kitchen to have the steak cooked. The returned filet was perfect in color and texture. However, it had absolutely no taste, no seasoning. The worse filet I have ever tasted. The casserole potatoes were not done and hard. The manager told us they get them in frozen and have no control over how they potatoes are done. The manager asked if he could bring a new filet, but I did not want to wait since my two companions would have been done eating. As it was, I had to wait for my steak and potatoes to be cooked while my friends ate. Any professional manager would have offered a free drink, a dessert, a no charge or discounted meal. This manager offered nothing, but for me to wait for a new steak. In fairness I have dined at Firebirds Wood Fired Grill many times and have always enjoyed great service and filets cooked to perfection. This night, this restaurant appeared to be one that will be soon going out of business. We left telling each other we would never, ever return.
Service was slow and our server needed help and was unfamiliar with menu items. This was a birthday dinner for my mother and we did not enjoy our experience.
Absolutely horrible service, honestly by far worse that I’ve ever experienced. The staff is careless, restaurant half empty yet w an with reservation they make you wait 20 min. Waitress never brought silverware even after multiple requests and even after the dinner actually arrived. She was eager to leave the table and didn’t even listen to the full order before running away. Never brought our coffee at the end and the cold disgusting food wasn’t even prepared right, missing some ingredients. So it’s safe to say I will not be coming back, but good luck to the management!
Went there for wife’s birthday. Seated late for our 8:30 reservation, no one approached us for fifteen minutes. Menus were sticky, food on them. Walked out without being approached.
This was our first visit, we won’t be back.
Understaffed, ambience was subpar, food was not good. Server was nice and doing the best he could. Won’t go back.
Had a 6:30 reservation, got seated at 7pm. Waitress took out drink order, drinks took 15 min. Took our food order, food came quickly and was good. Then didnt see the waitress again until I literally went to the host stand to ask for her. We never got a chance to order a second drink and literally waited 30 min after finishing our food before I went to the host stand to get the check so we could pay and leave. I realize Covid may have the restaurant short staffed, but the waiter that was working the tables next to us was all over it. He was running crazy but he was giving his tables the attention they were paying to get.
Service was slow but the food was worth the wait. Our waitress was a bit overwhelmed with other tables.
Glad we had reservations as many people arrived after we were seated and could not get in. Social distance and masks were observed and was appreciated
The host could not find my reservation originally. My server Kat was great. Polite, kind and quick!
I decided to try Firebirds after a friend said they had a good experience a few years a ago. We frequent the shops and restaurants at Pinecrest quite often. I made reservations for 2 on 4/16 at 7:15. We were seated immediately by a male host that was rude and short with us. We sat at our table for 15 minutes before the server(Sienna) took our drink order. We ordered an appetizer that was brought out slightly warmer than room temperature. Our food order took so long, the manager apologized and offer a free dessert at the conclusion of our dinner. I ordered a steak that apparently was over cooked and the server never brought it out and the made a new one. Needless to say, my wife’s meal sat back in the kitchen while they cooked my another steak. Because of the atmosphere, I would have eaten the original steak just to leave the restaurant. Patrons were walking around taking pictures of each other and being loud and obnoxious. The staff didn’t seem to mind. Our server was good, but the commotion in the dining room and kitchen made it nearly impossible to do her job. I am not a person that leaves negatives reviews. I have only left a handful of reviews at restaurants in the past and they were all positive. I begrudgingly decided to leave this review because we were so disappointed and I was promoted by Open Table. In conclusion, we have no plans to return and we will definitely not be recommending this restaurant to friends and family.
The restaurant was out of 4 of the 6 Chardonnay wines which was a bummer. Food was average Service was good waitress friendly.
Watched a server with mask on chin pour a martini with the drink splashing all over his fingertips.
Overpriced for what you get.
Waited forever to be seated while hostess on phone.
It was an enjoyable experience. The ambience was relaxing, the service and food excellent. Booths were large and spacious.
Good service and great food
Amazing service from the server, amazing quality & a beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommend
Service was poor, food was OK, deviled eggs too salty and ribs too salty and the onion rings had no flavor. Broccoli was over cooked, 2 appetizers were good. Manager ask how we were doing, but did not want to acknowledge the salty food, his attitude was very dry, not welcoming at all. Gave us an Happy Anniversary card when it was her birthday. Told the waiter twice it was a birthday, still receive an Happy Anniversary Card, not for sure if this was a joke! Came from out of town to Firebirds will not rush back. I believe it was a bad day for the manager and waitress on a Sunday and someone sabotage the food with salt, manager definitely not aware. Will not be rushing back.
I am a firm believer that even if the food is bad, if the customer service is excellent I would return because the waitress and manager had a great energy and smiles . This Sunday April April 11 was a bad service day, and the food on a scale of 1-10 was a 5.
Good food but great service. Our waitress, Nye, was excellent.
Food was delicious. Service was extremely slow. We were informed by our server that 4 employees quit this week.
Our server was inattentive and was not able to split the check properly.
Had to send food back, not hot. Asked waitress for cream, her reply was ok, if I can find where it is. Never offered refill, never brought bread to table. Very poor service. I Brought a friend who was never there before. She said she would never come back.
Everything was great hit cocktails are not generous at all. I did not order another alc beverage because the one I got wa poor!
Nothing out of the ordinary here. Many other good restaurant choices in the Pinecrest area that we will choose next time
Very disappointed they did not have their signature pasta dish! We went for lunch, so, hopefully it was remedied by dinner. Won't be back! Our server was very apologetic and personable!
Hospitality was great but had two (2) issues with our foos!
This was my first visit. The young man behind the bar was kind and made a great cocktail. Ordered the grilled salmon , green beans and loaded baked potato. The salmon and loaded baked potato were overly salty for my taste. The service and cocktail helped balance out my overall experience.
Restaurant is an excellent place to enjoy lunch-lots of menu combos available at reasonable prices. Prices jump on dinner menu with only 1 side included in the price.
Waitstaff pleasant but still very inexperienced-manager at Easter dinner very busy placating customers-place seemed understaffed-very long wait for dinner.
Consider more pasta combos.
