No social distancing. It is how it was before corona virus existed.
We walked in at 11:15 am I had made a reservation we were sat immediately. But the table was dirty as were the seats with crumbs. Server tried to seat us at another table right next to another occupied table but that too was dirty. My food had a hair on it so it had to be remade. At that point I didnt have much of an appetite. Manager and server apologized(it was not the servers fault) but no mention of a dessert on the house or half off my bill or anything for the complete lack of attention to customers experience especially in this day of covid. I havent been out to eat in several months and it is disappointing to have such a terrible experience at such a great restaurant in Omaha. I hope they pay better attention next time and spend the time on food quality and customer experience. At this point in time I would he hesitant to recommend Firebirds:(
Always LOVE Firebirds! I’ve been a regular since they opened maybe 13 years ago .... consistently delicious.
Steaks not cooked correctly. Had to send one back.
Besides the prices I have no other complaints. Staff were pleasant and food came out pretty quick.
This was our 1st time at Firebirds. It was recommended by a co-worker of mine. I was impressed with all aspects of our experience. Food and drinks we very quality and service was great! We will be going back for sure.

The waitress was patient,kind and pleasant. We had two problems:
1) the noise level was so loud. We sat at the first big round table when you walk in the dining room and I couldn’t even hear the person next to me
2) I was there with 4 other ladies and we noticed as people got up and left none if the tables were sanitized. A quick brush off of debris. It is alarming that we are trust you to keep us safe and your people are not going to the measures of safety like you say. I have reservations for 7 next Friday and a few of my ladies are immune compromised. I am seriously considering an alternative location
My wife and I celebrated our Anniversary with a night of wine and steak dinner. The steaks were great and the wine was delicious. One absolute must is their Lobster Queso for an appetizer!
One of Omaha’s best restaurants!! Always the first choice when going out to dinner, great food and service!
Adam was great! He always takes the best care of us!! It was our oldest son’s birthday and it was fantastic!
The food was very delicious! Waiter was a little slow to refill drinks and check on us but he was friendly, funny (especially with a slightly difficult guest at our table) and accommodating.

Waiters were all wearing masks, food was great and timely.
Steaks werent as tender as normal. But other food was great. Service was great.
The reservation was handled very well, the host staff was very good. Our server was awesome, very clear, and helpful, even with his mask on. Enjoyed the night and the food was great.

I had a terrible experience on Mother’s Day (ordered take out and never received it) called restaurant and was on hold for an hour. Finally was able to get a manager who apologized and sent us gift cards. Apparently she forgot to sign the back and when we came in for a family dinner and tried to use the cards, another manager approached us as if we had stolen the cards. Said “I’m a little confused as to how you got these”. I showed her the note from the manager who sent them, who happened to be there, and she changed her attitude. It was totally embarrassing and even though we still have money left on the card, I will never go back.
Our server was friendly and timely. Receptionist was also accommodating. I enjoy the bread but if possible, can the serving size of the butter be increased? We are frequent guests and each time we request another serving of butter. We also had a frustrating time with the gift card as it wouldn’t accept my email address to access my electronic gift card. I called the phone number and they said they were having technical issues and to continue to attempt to log in. I tried several more times but with no success so I paid with my own credit card.
I’ve got a little burn on this topic as we’ve bought gift cards before and had this restaurant fail to honor the bonus portion of the card when we went past the due date. I understand the timeline but when you get over that issue only to face another frustration it makes me more hesitant to pursue an item that is designed to create attachment to the restaurant.
Firebirds servers are kind and timely. The food is excellent. Reserving a table online is simple.

Disappointed on how the managed the handling of one of the meals being undercooked. They did not seemed to concerned about the issue until the breaking down tickets at end of meal was questioned.

The food is consistently delicious and the service is very attentive. However, we did not see the attention given to disinfecting door handles, etc. that was evident during our visit a few weeks ago. Another party was also seated in the booth behind us - before the restaurant was allowed to be at 100% capacity.
The waitress was very personable and polite. The food was excellent. The ambiance was cozy.
Absolutely nothing negative to say about Firebirds. Nothing at all...other than the portions were so large that...well, it's hard to make that a negative...and as far as the service goes, our server, the front desk people, all the staff we came in contact with were all just happy outgoing friendly quick and efficient...not very many negative things either....yes, but those large portions I mentioned; we were a party of five and everybody ordered something different and everybody said their food was really good and...there wasn't anybody even remotely unsatisfied....so...the only negative I can think of is why are you sitting there reading this when you should be making a reservation to go to Firebirds?
It was a little pricey but worth it...so seriously, stop reading and GO....
