   Overall the atmosphere and food were great, but there were a couple of details that could’ve been improved on. Given the price of the menu items, I wasn’t pleased to find rough, bark like ends on my asparagus that were hard to chew and even swallow. Additionally, the time delays between course services and then receiving and paying our final bill were too long. I’ll definitely dine here again but hopefully these little details will be considered by then. Thank you!

   Unfortunately both me and my sister had issues. Her steak came out undercooked and both our au gratin potatoes were hard and crunchy. Basically the potato was undercooked and hard. They replaced them and they still were hard. I’ve never had that issue with the au gratin potatoes before. It was quite jarring. They bought the steak out again and it was still undercooked. The manager even acknowledged that. The next time they bought it out, it was basically a charcoal briquette around the edges. I actually laughed when the (different) manager asked if it was ok.

   We got the 3-course meal. The bacon salad was very tasty, the steak was perfectly prepared, and the brownie with ice cream was a nice finishing touch. The portions were large enough for leftovers.

   We chose to celebrate Easter at Firebirds and was so pleased with the service and food. We had a reservation for 1:30 and weren’t seated until 1:45 but all was good. Busy day for the servers and we appreciated the great food and good service.

   The food was great and the kids enjoyed their kids meals which would have been big enough for an adult.

    We have eaten here many times. I usually have the smoked Salmon. It is usually good. It was not good this time. Dry and overcooked. Service was very good. Server was great. Others in my party had ribs. They were ok. The bill after tip was over $200. That in my opinion is not a good value for the money. Very disappointed in a place I usually like to eat out.
