Experienced Firebirds for the very first time during my visit here in Jacksonville, and I will most definitely be back! Sat at the bar with bartender, “Ciera” and she was extremely helpful in suggesting foods to try, more than attentive and friendly! We even left after lunch and came back for dinner! Be sure to try the steak tacos and chicken nachos but the BIGGEST HIT was the wood grilled chicken with loaded baked potatoes! Actually - you GOTTA TRY the steak tacos as well!!! You’ll thank me later!! 💋

Had reservations, so I was seated quickly. Outstanding server who was very polite and recommended several items. Food was good and everything was exactly as I expected. Highly recommend this place.

The experience was great from the moment we stepped in the door. The hostess sat use right away, our waiter Colin was at the table in under 5 minutes to take our drink order. He was very helpful explaining the menu to us. The food was great, the service was excellent. I will definitely be back the next time I’m down at the Mayo Clinic. Colin even said goodbye to us at the table and then again as we were leaving the building

We have hone here a number of times when visiting Jacksonville and love it. The food is always good, excellent service and great staff. Really enjoy Firebirds!!

We are definitely fans of Firebirds. We often celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, etc. here. However, last Saturday, we were doing a pre-– Father’s Day dinner and the only person who had a great meal was the father at the table. Thank goodness for that! The others of us had either steaks that were overdone, or not done enough. The mashed potatoes that came on three of the plates were ice cold when they hit the table. Not our server’s fault, and she politely brought us a fresh round of mashed potatoes. It was they were or appeared to be not ready for the crowd. We fixed a 3:30 PM time thinking that it would not be so crowded. That lunch would be over, and dinner would not have started yet. Boy will be wrong! The kitchen clearly was the problem, not their servers. The servers were working as hard as they could to get the food out. Our server, Kaitlyn, did a great job. The one highlight of the mood, and meal, was the big daddy chocolate cake we shared for dessert. That never disappoints. I may have to think twice about going back to celebrate when it is a special occasion for everybody. I don’t think we’ve had this type of food or service or ambience ever. Like I said the service was the highlight of the meal along with the chocolate cake! We have been there for Mother’s Day before actually on Mother’s Day, and never had a problem with the crowd or the Kitchen. I hope our next experience will be better.

A beautiful dining room and excellent food with first-rate service. That said, it was very loud for having so few patrons: a similar noise level to a sports bar. While the food was cooked to perfection, we found it very expensive. At that price level, I would have expected a bit larger table, something with adequate space for the meal, and a softer, quieter ambience. While our waiter, Khalil was professional and attentive, the noise level made it difficult to hear his questions and recommendations. Not his fault.
