Firebirds is consistently good! We sat at their outside patio and had a great dinner. Our waitress was wonderful! She suggested an Albariño wine to go with our fish and pasta and we loved all of it.

Great experience! reservation for six allowed for immediate seating while many walk in customers continued to wait. Waitress was very personable and responsive to requests and provided updates on progress of orders placed.

Was a great place to celebrate a 93rd birthday with the only tiny drawback being the noise. Fun place with friendly staff.

Good steaks for a pub. I had the aged ribeye and my wife the filet. Cooked slightly under requested temp but quite nice. Nice complements available and sides also done well. Prices are reasonable for the quality of steak. Better than an outback or most middle chains, not at the level of a fine steakhouse (Capital Grille is our facvorite) but a very acceptable substitute. Also offer a wide menu so if partner not in mood for steak they will find many good alternatives.

Firebirds Wood Fired Gill in Gainesville is our most frequented restaurant to have a special occasion brunch, lunch or dinner with family and friends or just to pop-in with my wife for a casual drink and some light fare. Byron, the current manager is a great person that always treats you as family and has an excellent staff to support him. On this occasion we were returning from shopping trip at the Fair Oaks mall. We originally had reservations for dinner @ 5 pm but got there a bit early ,but the receptionist was able to sit us immediately and our servers, Emma and Zee took great care of us. They have a very varied menu that could please any appetite, fortunately they had a "special" for Memorial Day weekend that included a full rack of baby back ribs cooked to perfection !! My wife and I ordered that entrée and needless to say each of us carried out a "doggy bag". While waiting for dinner my wife enjoyed her favorite excellently prepared "house margarita" with a sugar rim and I had to settle for a can of "wheat" beer since my favorite draft IPA was not available due to a technical problem with the draft beer dispensing mechanism. Their hot artisan bread is also a favorite for my wife. Needless to say that Firebirds @ Gainesville is our "Cheers" !!

As soon as we arrived we were shown to our table, even though there were several people waiting for a table. My ribs were tough and dried out. My friend had perfect ribs. Our waitress was more than outstanding.
