Firebirds Wood Fired Grill - Erie
Very good food, very good service, and priced accordingly for the food
Great everything! Spinach salad and prime rib! Outstanding!
The food was delicious and the service was very good, but we were surprised by how loud it was. It was really difficult to hear each other and our waitress.
As always, the service, food and prices were all good. Highly recommend Firebirds.
Great restaurant. We enjoy dining there but the prices are getting too high.
Food was mediocre...got a $30 filet with small dollop of bland instant potatoes...you could tell this food was prepackaged
Little disappointed to find happy hour is only for patrons of the bar! Only place ive ever eaten with such a rule. Otherwise food was excellent and service was very good
The hostess let us change our table as we preferred a booth. The service was fast and efficient and the food was excellent. The waitress was great. Firebird's Asiago Chicken is never a disappoint. Had enough for dinner the next night.
Outside patio for cocktails then dinner inside with fry for wife’s BD. Great night
Firebirds is probably my favorite place to eat in Erie. They have the best ribs I've ever had and the java bbq sauce is to die for.
Excellent steaks perfectly cooked. Service was impeccable. I enjoyed the rib eye and my wife the New York strip The atmosphere was subdued and people clearly enjoyed themselves. A reservation is helpful
Took almost an hour to get a spinach salad with salmon and a grilled chicken sandwich.
Waited over an hour for our food because the steaks we ordered, medium rare, came out well done. The restaurant was so loud. While the food was alright, definitely not worth the $150 spent there.
We were so pleased by the atmosphere, service, and quality of the meal we enjoyed. My son and I split the pepper crusted sirloin and without asking they served it on separate plates, even going to the trouble of separately preparing two loaded potato’s cut in half. I could go on and on. This place is a gem!
Great food. Love watching the food cooking on open fire.
Great food steaks service was terrific and we enjoyed the setting very much.
We asked for the demonico steak not to have the Chile on it and it did, we asked for the salmon to be on medium rare and it was raw. The server was pleasant and they. Treated us to dessert (it was our anniversary) but I was disappointed.
Food is always so good, especially the low carb friendly ones.
Excellent service. Food was fantastic.
My husband prime rib was all fat! We told the waitress and she laughed. The baked potatoes cold! Dingbat! We put on the reservation it was our 45 Wedding Anniversary. I would have thought we could have received a free dessert or at least a Happy Anniv.
Server was very attentive
Food was awesome, our server may have been new, but was trying:)
Visited on 7/5 with my husband and two daughters, ages 6 and 2. Great selection of specialty cocktails and food. Loved that there were options other than chicken fingers and hamburgers on kids menu. My 6 year old had ribs and my 2 year old had salmon, all off the kids menu. I had the cajun delmonico with Mexican street corn and both were great. My husband had the crispy cobb salad and really enjoyed it. It is on the pricier side but definitely worth it!
Food was terrific as we celebrated a Golden Wedding Anniversary! Service was very good and Katie in particular did an excellent job juggling a large group.
Always a good experience and consistency is so important and it seems Firebirds has been consistent the past few years!😊
I had to ask twice for the background Music to be turned down. It was very loud. The food was ok. The service was good. Ten dollars for a side salad was a bit pricey.
Firebirds in Erie has a great atmosphere although it can be a little loud is the restaurant is full. The chicken Colorado salad is great and I get it each time I go there. What I like mist is the varied selection of kids meals...ribs, chicken, steak plus two sides and a drink. My growing boys love it and I never have to remind them to finish their meal.
I frequent this restaurant and this was the first time the dinning experience was below expectations. I should also note that as this was one of the first nice summer weekends, the restaurant was not at all busy. Friends took me to dinner as a gift and Firebirds was my suggestion. The waiter forgot to bring dressing for one of our salads, and after 10-15 minutes of trying to get his attention, my friend had to get up and flag down a hostess. Dinners arrived at the same time as the salad dressing, one of the sides was wrong. My fillet was delicious, though cold from sitting while we ate our salads. My friend had either the Delmonico or the ribeye and a good part of the steak was gristle to the point that almost 1/2 was ineatable.
Not what we expected dropping $150 for dinner at Firebirds. I was embarrassed for having recommended it as they'd suggested another high end restaurant. That being said, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and go back, but as I do anywhere I'm disappointed, will spend 2x the price paid at other establishments in protest before returning.
We had a wonderful meal with great service! Our food was pretty good and the prices are decent for the quality of the meal.
Always make a detour from I-90 to eat here, if you have a chance. We plan it in our driving itinerary. There are so many delicious dishes to choose from that we try a new one eavh time. We love the salmon and the fish tacos. Decorated with care, presented with gentle pride and delivered with flavor and friendliness...make this your special place to stop for a bite or a full meal.
I love their Baby Back Ribs. Definitely one of my top five restaurants for ribs. I also like the salad (plenty of fixings and a nice size too). I look forward to going back.
My family was celebrating June birthdays and our experience was amazing from the time we walked in until the time we left!
Took boyfriend here for his first time and he loved it! Always amazing food at Firebirds. He even tried his steak medium, usually prefers medium-well and he thought it was delicious. One of the best “chain” restaurants I’ve ever been to. He will be back!
Met some friends in Erie and found the restaurant on Trip Advisor.
We were delighted with the good food and good service and would come back here the next time we are in town
There was a problem with my steak but the way the manager handled it was above any expectation! Can't wait to go back for another ribeye! The one the brought out was fantastic! Thanks Firebirds!!
The food is always excellent at Firebirds. I wish it were a bit quieter so conversation were easier, but it is definitely the best food in Erie.
Good food good service.
Wait staff was attentive but not intrusive .
The BLT salad I’d the best top it with the tenderloin Wonderful
My wife and I and another couple had dinner here Thursday, June 13th to celebrate a retirement. We chose it for its ratings and convenient location.
I ordered the Prime Rib ($30) which was featured that night. It was tough, chewy and clearly a substandard cut of meat. Service was excellent, no complaints there but when someone orders your feature which is among the higher priced dishes, one expects to be impressed. Not so much.
I took my girlfriend out for her birthday dinner. She got the wood fired salmon which was very good. I opted for the prime rib cooked medium rare, which was the special. The meat was tough. I asked the server to take it off my bill. I split my girlfriend's salmon with her.
The server had the manager come to our table, this took 10 minutes. I told her the meat was tough to which she offered another piece, I declined asking that the prime rib be removed from my bill. I added that I lost my taste for the prime rib.
I cut a piece of meat off in front of her, by the shaking of the table it was very clear how tough the meat was and she complied with my wishes.
I was a bit surprised that she didn't comp us a couple of drinks or give me a gift card to come back again.
