The food was pretty good. Service was really good too
I reserved our table with the request for outdoors. Big mistake. While they do have tables , we were seated at a bar table which was about 18in wide for dinner. Awkward and very uncomfortable.
My husband ordered tortilla soup without sour cream. The soup was delivered and even said no sour cream. It was full of sour cream. We were not charged for it.
Food was excellent. Salmon was cooked perfectly. Ribs were fall
Off the bone tender. Creme brûlée cheesecake was a delicious surprise. Server wasn’t very friendly though and we were never asked if we wanted a second drink.
Thank you so much great food and service I will come back again
This place is not a place to go if you want an intimate experience. The feel is very open dining room and I did not enjoy that. I would only order take out from now on because the food was awesome but the inside dining left a bit to be desired. The wait for my food was a whole hour. I got my water and appetizer quickly. The floors in there were dirty because of bread crumbs. They were all over the place not just at my table. The type of bread they give you is hard and if you try to cut it or pull it apart the crumbs go everywhere. The server was great but when I asked him if he knew how long my food would take he replied I have no idea and walked away smiling. Overall I would not dine in here again.
I reserved this as a birthday - that wasn’t even acknowledged nor felt like we were celebrating at all. Food was OK. Last time I was here, I was disappointed. I decided to give another try and still the same result. The food is so mediocre here anymore. It’s really gone down hill. I used to get excited and talk highly here, eh not so much anymore
It is aesthetically a pretty restaurant. However, there is really nothing special about the menu or atmosphere. It is a cookie cutter of all the other mid priced restaurants in the area. The food was ok, but nothing special. The steak my daughter ordered was way under cooked. We sent it back and by the time it was brought back to the table, the rest of us were about done eating. We waited a few minutes, but our food was getting cold, so we ate without her. The steak was alright but, not worth the $35-ish dollars. For a burger and fries, Red Robin does better. For a steak at a chain restaurant, Texas Roadhouse is better. We didn’t have drinks, maybe that’s where they shine. I would go back if other places were too busy. I wouldn’t make a special trip. I would rate it a C at best.
My sons and wife's steaks were great but my steak was tough and I was unable to eat half of it. Usually I can eat every bite and they have been perfect. They did take it off of my bill. Still a great place to eat.
Three of the four steaks we ordered were excellent. The fourth, a MR ribeye, was significantly undercooked. Otherwise, an enjoyable evening.
We came to Firebirds to celebrate my mother’s 85th birthday. She wanted to have steak. Firebirds was the only restaurant I found who would accept a party of 12. They had two servers who took great care of us. The service was great. The severs were so courteous, accommodating and attentive. The food was great. We didn’t have to wait long for our dinner. When dinner was served everyone was served within moments of each other. My family plans on returning.
Steaks were amazing. Our server was wonderful. So friendly and helpful!!
Firebirds has always been our go to for a great steak dinner especially for their Prime Rib. It has never disappointed our family until this time. We noticed that the menu was new…some items taken off, some added but the most alarming thing with the new menu was the price increases. My son normally orders the Filet and Shrimp (9oz)…it is now over $40.
Secondly, I ordered my usual, a 12oz Prime Rib and loaded potato. Asked for prime rib to be cooked MEDIUM like I always do. It came out looking like a pork chop. My husband and son ordered their meat medium and theirs was perfectly cooked medium. Sent mine back and still over cooked. Broke into the potato and it was hard and undercooked.
All in all a very disappointing meal for a $175 price (including tip). We most likely will try another steak restaurant in the Polaris area next time.
Outstanding and unique food. Excellent service and loved our big table for two.
My server Dominick was awesome super energetic friendly and prompt
Made reservations for a surprise birthday celebration and couldn’t have had a more excellent night! Food was amazing from appetizers to entrees! Staff went above and beyond! One of our favorite places!
This was my first time here. The food was delicious, our service was excellent, and the price was affordable. I will definitely be going back.
This was our first time dining at this restaurant and it was fantastic will be coming back when in Columbus
Food was amazing, the service was quick and amazing. The experience was all around great. Can’t think of a single complaint
Wonderful casual restaurant with moderate noise level. Great food, prices not too bad!
Always have a good meal at Firebirds. Service was excellent. It's a rather noisy restaurant and the added music can make it difficult for some to hear conversation.
This place is always amazing, great food, service and atmosphere.
We we celebrating 2 birthdays
The Server was amazing - he was attentive, knowledgeable and very nice.
The food was very good - we had appetizers, salads and main entrees.
I also pick Firebirds when we get the family together is you allow me to bring a cake into the restaurant - appreciate your giving me that option.
Oh yes - the bread is great also.
I highly recommend
Even though they alerted us before we sat down that service was slow we had no idea it would take almost an hour to get our food. Then once served, the server kept coming to clean up the table while I was still eating. It was very uncomfortable. As for the food, it was pretty good for the most part. I love their baked potatoes but last night, so dry and not what I remember.
Great food and service! Our waitress was very friendly and made it an even better experience!
Was very excited to try this restaurant. Our steaks were the most dry steaks that I have ever had in my life. Very disappointed with the quality considering the price of the steak.
A family get-together including small children celebrating a new job. We had an add on guest and the staff was very accommodating. The waiter was courteous, professional and attentive. Appetizers and drinks excellent. Steaks and salads very good. However my chicken came out a bit cold and children’s Mac n cheese was dry and broccoli undercooked.
A bit noisy but the food & Service was top notch!!
Our special occasions go-to. Inside or on the patio.
The food had no flavor or seasoning. The wait staff was great
Very nice ambiance and service. The food was delicious!
Food was decent. Service was a challenge
Most of the food was good but I ordered the ribeye and it was not great
The service was good. The price was fair. The prime rib was excellent!
Even though the restaurant was crowded, we were seated within 5 minutes of our arrival (and reservation time). We received our cocktails and food in very timely manner. And all were very tasty. Will go back there again!!
I truly enjoy steak. I am 100% carnivore. It has become obvious to me that this restaurant has really taken it to heart that a quality steak is absolutely important! I had the Delmonico and my guests had The sirloin. I must admit, all steaks were absolutely perfect. Our side dishes were outstanding also and the waite staff was fabulous. Our greeter (Sarah) was a joy to behold!
Our group of 7 had a great time at Firebirds! We were celebrating a friend who is moving away. We were hoping to sit on the patio because it's such a nice patio, but unfortunately, the blowing rain/downpour prevented that. We would have been fine if we could move the table a little, but the tables are fixed in place. So we moved inside to the bar area. Still had a wonderful time, and the food was great! Just a little more cramped for a group of 7 than on the patio.
Stopped in for a late afternoon lunch. There weren’t many other patrons in the restaurant however our server was quite slow and it took longer for our food to a drive. It was nice and quiet and the food was good, just wishThe service head the lunchtime yet.
The atmosphere was great, a little too open concept. You can barely hear the person across from you. The waitress was very nice. However, if we are paying $40 per plate for a filet mignon with a few small pieces of shrimp. We would expect it to have some flavor. The cook temperature was the best ever!! But the taste was bland and boring to say the least. I would also not recommend serving blue cheese with the onion ring appetizer. It says ranch but we were served BC and it was gross!! Just assumed it was a different take on their ranch dressing, but nope. Just gave us the wrong stuff. This was our first time there, for our anniversary and probably won't be back. Not impressed.
