   We celebrated a birthday. Our server was excellent. Very attentive and the food was delicious. The only negative was the air conditioning/cold air was blowing on us so we were cold most of the meal.

   All three of our entries were poorly cooked for various reasons. Even something as simple as a baked potato was ruined. We asked for additional bread and was told they were just putting some in the oven…approx. 10 minutes the bread was brought to the table. It was warm on the outside and still frozen on the inside. Obviously, the bread is not fresh and just nuked. One would think the bread would be fresh and baked. Last straw…it is always so loud inside…even an Applebees is quieter. Very disappointed!

   food was good. Service was subpar. Reception people did not even acknowledge we were there for several minutes even though we were in front of them. No eye contact or thank you for coming. This is a good place for larger tables. Do not consider if you want romantic.

   It was the “THE LOVE OF MY LIFE’S Birthday and she chose this restaurant so we could celebrate this special occasion. Upon arrival we were greeted immediately and seated at a very comfortable booth. We both commented that it seemed to be a little noisy but wouldn’t let it spoil our evening. We were almost immediately greeted by our server Mitchell and he proceeded to take our drink order and answer our questions about the various selections available and also his personal recommendations . He was most pleasant and really knew the menu quite well. My Lady chose the Ribeye with the loaded baked potato and a mixed green salad and I selected the Prime rib and loaded baked potato and a BLT salad. The salads arrived soon and were more than we expected for what he described as a “side”! They were huge and very very delicious. In fact I will say that my salad had to be the best I have ever had in any restaurant that I have ever been to. And I mean that sincerely. As for our main entrees, Melinda’s steak and my prime rib were equally delicious and prepared to perfection !!! We actually split one the baked potatoes because they were so enormous and delicious. In addition to several drinks we finished the evening with the most amazing five layer lemon cake served with the sweetest blueberries. I can honestly say that our experience at Firebirds was absolutely amazing. The evening was very special for the both of us and the incredible food and service just made it that much more enjoyable. I can assure that we will be returning in the future and will be sharing our wonderful experience with our friends and family.

   Excellent steak and baked potato - after my husband got his steak he realized that he hadn’t been asked how he would like it prepared. It was medium and he prefers it med rare. It it was still good. Salmon with lobster fondue with Parmesan Mashed potatoes was good but way too many potatoes and wasn’t expecting the salmon and lobster fondue to be all on top of the potatoes. I had told our server that I could not eat anything spicy (health condition) yet the deviled eggs arrived with sliced jalapeño peppers on top. (This was NOT noted in the menu description either. Or I would not have ordered it. Our server removed it from the bill. I would dine here again but would try something different.

    Excellent food and excellent service. Our weight person was fantastic. She even arranged for a free birthday dessert for us, and it was our favorite crème brûlée cheesecake. Always a good value at Firebirds and one of our absolute favorite places.

    We were getting the special but they were out but they did substitute for a different cut which was good. But it was very.very salty. Fries could use a lot of improvement for the type of restaurant

    Steak was ordered to be medium, came out rare and server did not come out to check on us or the temp. Ordered the veggies with no butter, was soaked in butter. Despite this, I’ve had great experiences in the past, the booth/table by the fireplace is the best and will still go back again in the future!

    Food was very high quality. Service was friendly. However, we made a reservation for 8, one person couldn’t come so it was only 7. However, the round table we sat at (that was set for 8) could*barely* fit 7. We were knocking elbows the whole time and we’re very uncomfortable. I can’t imagine if there had been 8. Meanwhile people were walking in without reservations and getting larger tables.

    Great dinner, service was amazing! My Dad loved his filet mignon was extremely tender and flavorful. Smoked wings with bbq sauce was a great appetizer! There was a mistake with the cheese on my salad, my server made sure to take responsibility and ensure it was corrected. Things happen but it`s how you handle it that counts, will be back again!! That said, my only complaint would be how the restaurant lobby is organized. There is no seating for the potential wait at the door and it is very cold during the winter months. The wind chill is also noticeable if your table in the main dining room. It would have made more sense to put sort of the divider in the front behind the host station to prevent it from being so cold and windy. It is unpleasant if you have to keep your coat on the whole dinner.

    Unfortunately, not a great trip to firebirds tonight. Our steaks were dry, we never received our second round of drinks. We sat with empty cups and empty plates for 20 minutes before finally finding our server to request a check (planned to do dinner but at this point we had been there for over 2 hours and didn’t even get what was ordered. Very disappointing.

    Our server, Yahna, was amazing. She quickly recognized that sitting at a booth with booster seats was going to be a better option for our party with twin 3 yr olds than to sit at round table. Something neither the host or hostess recognized, even when we tried to request. She treated the twins like they were important and their choice of drink, milk and water, mattered. She consistently went above and beyond to accommodate our multi-generational party. Food was delicious and portion sizes enough for two meals for most of the party. Enjoyable atmosphere to celebrate a special occasion. Special thanks to Yahna!!

    Great atmosphere and service. Underwhelmed with my prime rib. The plate wasn’t hot so it got cold quickly as did my au jus. Caesar salad was less than average. Deviled eggs were superb. Overall a pretty expensive check for barely average food.

    We didn’t get silverware, honest mistake. But, we asked 2 times before I had to go and get them off of an empty table to eat our salads. Our meal came 5 minutes after salads. The wait staff is usually amazing our waiter was just average, not bad. The salmon was burnt to a crisp and the manager seemed surprised we wanted to send it back. (We rarely ask to replace something. It was that bad). Things have changed. This used to be one of our favorite places. We’ll give it one more try. Every place has a bad day.

    We arrived early for our reservation so we went to the bar to wait. We were able to take advantage of Firebirds Happy Hour. Great Happy Hour prices on drinks and shareables. The bar was busy so the service was a little slow but not bad for a Friday at 6pm. They texted me when our table was ready. Our server, Jane, was friendly and answered my questions regarding the menu. Food was delicious. Service at the bar and in the dining room was very good. Would recommend.

    Arrived prior to reservation, and we were seated. Waiter was very busy but stopped greeted us and took drink order. Then there was a longer wait for him to get back to us. He returned and took our orders. There was a delay in getting our food, but it was delicious and warm when it came. We were celebrating a birthday and he gave us dessert. He apologized for the delay. I had to ask for the check due to his other customers and his heavy assignment.

    The old fashioned drink needed some help. The outside of the glass was VERY sticky and the drink was not mixed well at ALL. Did not taste like an old fashion at all.
