I love to celebrate birthdays at Firebirds. The food is terrific as well as the service. Thank you for a very nice meal!
This has been our new go to restaurant. The food has been consistent and good, service has been too notch. I would recommend eating here anytime.
We had a really nice dinner at Firebirds last night. The food was fresh, hot and delivered to our table promptly by our server, Maddie. The steaks excellent and cooked perfectly to the style we requested. Quite professional and impressive was how Maddie took care of us and served the wine like a Sommelier. She made an enjoyable evening even better.
Great restaurant for any special occasion. The food and service was A-1.
Service and food was wonderful. BUT - we had reservations and our table was in a horrible location! We felt like we were on the runway. We went at 5:30 and expected a nicer spot. This was the 2nd time we were seated at that spot. We go out to eat a lot! Will not go back if this happens again.
Steak were not cooked correctly...hubs had to send back 3 times... and it was still not cooked correctly. Mine was dry and extremely over done... not a great experience.
Ran out of Ribeye steak.
Ran out of dessert cake/berries/ice cream
Thus I had to substitute.
Otherwise worth a return.
Great location and great food.
Food was cold
Dessert made 2 people sick
Did not bring plates for 30 minutes
Have been to this location several times, bit this visit was somewhat disappointing--steaks were over cooked.
Great service by Ivie and an extra stop by the table by the GM. They really care that your experience is excellent. Love the food choices and the salads are a great meal!!! And if you are watching calories, they are listed on the menu!!! Thank you!
Let me begin with saying the food was delicious. Everything we ordered was recommended by our wait staff and was delightful . You must try the jalapeño deviled eggs-they are delicious. I wish I could have only taken off half a star. The half star would have been taken off because the sweet tea had a nasty tang to it like it was old. My husband got lemon in his so he did not taste it and the I changed to the lemonade (with absolutely no problem due to our waitress (but that tasted watered down. The only other thing is that almost all of the kitchen staff had on a mask except the head person. Theirs was pulled down underneath their chin the entire time. Being that we have experienced COVID first time and were hesitant to even try going out again this made me very nervous and unable to finish my food. Please note we did pay and made no complaints because we chose to eat out and take that chance. I just wish we would have known prior to because the meal was not cheap at all.
We will try to visit again after COVID is no longer a concern.
Celebrating 2 birthdays. Kevin was our server - outstanding, a great job. Food was, as usual, excellent although our filet mignons were a little overcooked.
I recently moved to this area and hadn't before been to Firebirds Wood Fired Grill in Alpharetta. Service was the primary shortfall and the food was overpriced for the quality received. We asked for outdoor seating and were shown to table and chairs thick with yellow pollen. There was no set up (napkins, silverware, etc.) at the table. I located chairs that weren't covered with pollen and was in the process of moving the chairs when the server arrived and asked for my girlfriend's drink order. He did not offer to assist with chairs or ask for my drink. When he returned with her drink I asked him if he could clean the pollen from our table and told him what I'd like to drink. When he returned with the drink he also brought a wet towel which he left for us to clean the table ourselves. We placed our food order and when it was brought to the table there were still no napkins or silverware so I asked for those items and some ketchup. The napkins and silverware arrived within a minute or so but the ketchup was a 10 minute wait. The food was mediocre and overpriced. The meatloaf was drowned in a thick brown gravy and the green beans were undercooked to the point of being inedible. The hamburger and french fries were OK but unremarkable and overpriced. The tomato on the hamburger was unripe, white on the inside and still hard. I asked for cheddar cheese on the burger but received American cheese. Due to the service and mediocre food, my girlfriend and I won't return to this restaurant.
The 4 of us had the Shrimp/Filet combos and Prime Rib. The prime rib was MRare briefly turned on the grill to add the smokiness they are known for. Added a particularly extra flair to the flavor which was great. All entrees were extremely good. The baked potato with salted skin and mushrooms exceptional. Ambience and service did not disappoint either.
The restaurant was in a nice location, very clean, and had seating on the patio. The food was great, however, my steak was a little too done. I think when asking for a medium well, it shouldn’t be blackened. The pluses was the waiter, the drinks, and the other items that we tried. I will be back but won’t order a steak.
Great menu, good service. Would have liked to have the lunch menu at 12:00 but possibly because it was a Sunday it is not offered. My husband had to wait a few minutes for his salad after my daughters and I were served but other than that it was a good experience.
The food was delicious. However, the service was lacking. Our order was taken promptly, and our food delivered within a reasonable timeframe. However, our server never checked back to verify the quality of our food. My husband and my daughter had to swap plates to receive steaks cooked the way they were requested. The server took my husbands partial split of wine without asking if he was finished, then returned the uncorked partial bottle from somewhere in the kitchen when he asked about the remainder. My daughter and I were not offered additional glasses of wine during the meal. If we go back, we will likely simply order food at the bar. The bartender on duty was helpful and friendly.
Seafood pasta. Not good. The overall taste and cheese didn’t work. Shrimp tasted a touch out dated. Wine was good.
This was an amazing experience. Our server Nat was very accommodating, efficient with a great sense of humor. I appreciate the table we had because it was away from others. The earlier you go the better and less people.
This is my third time to this restaurant. I can't remember what I ordered as an entree the first two times. This time I ordered the BBQ ribs with green beans. The ribs were flavorful, but a tad salt. The lobster spinach dip was good, but not as great as I remembered it. However, the service was very good and I will eat there again.
Great dining experience that surpassed my expectations. I’m a bit of a foodie, and was just assuming it would be a “decent” chain restaurant dinner. My spouse and I kept commenting at how good everything was. For starters, my Manhattan was served perfectly, “up”, and was yummy (good job!). Our waiter was excellent and was very attentive throughout the meal. I was impressed that with our salad, that you hit the trifecta...the dish was chilled, the fork was chilled, and the lettuce leaves were already cut up into smaller pieces! It (the BLT salad) was yummy too. Our entrees were very good. My bacon wrapped filet with bleu cheese and mushrooms was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Thanks for a great dinner. We plan to go our local Firebirds more often due to this experience (we were traveling and were out of town).
The service at Firebird was really good, very personable. The food was freshly prepared and tasty. The atmosphere was good, nice music.
Server was great
The food was all very tasty. My parents recommended this place so I went with a couple of friends. Everyone liked their food and dessert.
Greta place to celebrate a birthday! Creative, solid comfort food with a great ambience!
My husband had the BLT salad and I had the spinach salad which are huge portions and always delicious. And it was Wine Down Monday so the wine was half price. We always enjoy our outings to Firebirds.
Love the restaurant, & food. Unfortunately, this past time had a couple of problems. The server did a good job, but the kitchen failed her. They were extremely behind, so the food was very slow coming out. Then my onion rings were literally cold, & after sending them back, was half way through the rest of my meal, before my rings were served. There were also other tables that had problems as well. I will definitely be back though, because the food, & ambiance are just too good to pass up. Hopefully the kitchen will get their act together
I'm a loyal Firebirds patron & really enjoy my dining experiences. I will definitely return in the near future & I recommend the Kobe meatloaf, strawberry shrimp salad & the philly cheese rolls are my favorite!
A) Birthday dinner the hostess acknowledged but waiter either did not know or forgot. App and meals were great except the aged rib eye not very aged, lackluster compair to other age streaks inhale here and other places.
We had a lovely lunch
Excellent service and food. Just a great place to eat
The menu is RIDICULOUS...IN THE BEST WAY IMAGINABLE. Extremely large selection. U will not have an issue finding something to eat, & enjoy. Food was very good. Salads are AWESOME! Very nice building, setup & ambiance. Will definitely visit several more times. Gotta get deeper into that extensive menu.
The atmosphere and service were great
My salmon salad was barely mediocre. Would never order it again
Filets were exceptional. Green beans with roasted pecans very tasty. Cobb salad mediocre, lobster queso dip bit watery. Old Fashioneds did not taste like Old Fashioneds, my glass only half full to start whereas friend's was full. Bit louder and more casual than expected (could have done without crying children and table of noisy high school girls nearby - no offense but some of us are trying to get away from the kids for a few hours :), but now I know. In booth with ledge just above and wait staff were using it to compile take out orders which was very distracting. Very attentive wait staff.
This was my 2nd time at Firebirds and they didn’t disappoint my expectations once again. Keep up the great service and wonderful food. The staff including management were very attentive to our every need. Thanks again!
My steak was one of the best I’ve ever eaten. Our server was top notch and others in the industry could learn a great deal from
John our Server was fantastic. We requested him this visit because he was so wonderful last visit. Filet Mignonette was prepared perfectly.
Great ambiance and comfortable. Food is excellent. Look for their specials for an added value.
Service was the worst I’ve ever received.
