We have a dinner club between friends and this is our favourite venue soo far. Amazing. We tried just about everything.

great food, great service and atmosphere . Only down side is the parking around there is atrocious .. so if you plan to drive aim for a 6.30 sitting so you are there just as the clearway times lapse .. outside of that a great place

Wait staff bit too much attention

A Tuesday night meal out. Something simple...nearby.. Firebird? Wow! What fantastic food. Whole sole, morning glory and a wicked potato gratin. A glass of Pinot each et voila! A fabulous meal and no washing up. Attentive but non-intrusive wait staff. About $70 per person. Loved it.

The food was fabulous, we loved every single dish

We had the $68pp set menu. The flat pressed banh mi and grilled rice paper were bland and unimpressive. The flat pressed bang mi tasted like a Baker’s Delight cheese roll that had been flattened in a flat press toast machine. However the grilled oysters and charcoal chicken were delicious and seasoned with the familiar flavours of Hanoi Hannah. The beef carpaccio was fine but nothing special. I would recommend dining at Firebird only if you dine in a small group to avoid the set menu - the other items on the menu sound delicious!

We had the $80 fixed price menu. Every dish was excellent, including the signature dish the Duck a l’orange. More than enough food! The decor is very stylish and the service was friendly and informative. Highly recommend.

Delicious Asian fusion menu within an ambient atmosphere. Quiet enough to hear each other talk and staff were excellent.

We had a great romantic dinner in the restaurant. An industrial vibe, spicy and interesting food. Recommend the Broken Rice and the fish of the day.

At first I was worried about the noise after reading some reviews as I hate dining in a restaurant where I couldn’t hear my own conversation. I am glad I decided to go to Firebird. Cosy yet spacious. Delicious food and top notched service. Everyone was happy with their dishes and commented how much they love the interior design and the ambience.

We’ve eaten a la carte previously at Firebird which was much better than the set menu. It is a shame only set menu is offered to groups of 6+.

Advertised that they cater for all dietary requirements in the feed me option, but proceed to charge an extra $10-20 per round to do so.

The food was lovely, the lamb curry was delicious, so was the chicken. If I go again, probably wouldn’t order cocktails.

All of the food was excellent. And I couldn’t fault the service- fast, friendly and switched on. Can get noisy, but it’s a good noise! Looking forward to returning.
