FIRE is located in the heart of Dublin in the popular Dawson St. area. Offering exclusive dining options in a historical dining room including the best private dining in Dublin. A mix of styles the current structure was built in 1891 as the Lord Mayor’s Supper Room. In the 20th Century, it was used as a cultural centre before returning to its original purpose of serving supper when it became a restaurant. The soaring ceilings of 19th century, stained glass windows and bronze sculptures are a few elements of this magnificent dining space. FIRE also offers outdoor dining on the terrace overlooking the Lord Mayor’s Garden.

We pride ourselves on creating menus around locally sourced Irish produce. Firmly committed to supporting sustainable local produce we serve the finest selection of meats and produce that Ireland has to offer. Our concept is very simple, take Ireland's finest raw ingredients and use original recipes to create exceptional dishes.

    It is always important to be treated as valued and we certainly felt this, with personal attention and a professional, helpful and courteous approach to ordering, and presentation of food and drinks. The food was of high quality, with just the right amount of waiting time between courses. Compliments to the chefs. Overall an enjoyable experience, and an encouragement to return.

    Great first impression, host was very warm and friendly, our server was also very attentive and friendly. Starters came quick and were tasty, steak was beautiful very soft and tasty as was the peppered cream sauce, however the butter sauce was a very odd taste and colour and texture, almost a cheesy flavour which wasn’t very pleasant. The room was extremely warm and made the overall experience a little unpleasant, we rushed our food and drinks so that we could leave to cool down, we were also sat in a corner right next to the serving station so the ambience wasn’t as good as it could have been. It was a hot day so not sure this was the fault of the restaurant but it did take away from the overall experience and would recommend some ways of cooling the restaurant down in hot weather.

    Dinner was amazing start to finish. From lady who sat us, to adriana our server, everything was first class. We received a special birthday and anniversary dessert plate that added so much to the evening. Food was 10/10. Thank you!!

    although we didn't complain because it was nice overall and staff was wonderful, the steak was rare (not medium rare), and sides were simply ok. Overall nothing special for the cost, and in no way compares to other steak houses I have been to. crew worked hard. special night but would not return as there are so many other top end choices.

    The main room was atmospheric and had a great energy as you walked in. The sharing 3 cuts of steak was superb, really didn’t need the sauces because it was so tasty. And they brought over a Happy Birthday mini dessert, just to finish the evening. Really enjoyed.

    Food was lovely couldn't fault it. Service not good. Overcharged by 3 items on bill, reported same but only two items removed. Wasn't worth it to bring attention to it again. Paid bill and left.

    We had a reservation on a Sunday and availed of the 2 course early bird menu. My wife had chicken and I had sirloin and both meals were well presented and tasty. We also ordered the cauliflower gratin side dish, which was also very tasty. The service was also very good. The sides in my opinion do seem a bit expensive - €5.50. We also ordered a bottle of wine which we thoroughly enjoyed, however, some of the wines seem to be a bit on the expensive side. Despite my comments about the wine & sides, we would definitely return.

    It's nice but not as good as they like to think they are. Onion soup was excellent, rest was moderate - the food does not match the price point they charge. There's much better for the same price; there's places where food is as good where cost is a loss less. Not complaining, it is what is it, just an observation.

    Our server, Dahman was fantastic, he was so friendly, attentive and provided an excellent service. Thanks you for arranging the Happy Birthday gesture for my mother’s birthday. I love coming back to Fire, the open air room really gives a great atmosphere I will definitely be back.

    Went to Fire for our wedding anniversary expecting a great experience and lovely evening/meal. Starters (tiger prawns and beef carpaccio) were really nice. Then the mains arrived. My wife's food (€45 fillet steak) was nice and cooked the way she asked. My €45 fillet steak was very bad. Asked for medium. Arrived well done. Explained to waitress that wasn't happy and she returned it to kitchen. Manager brought down another steak that was supposed to be cooked medium. Outside was burnt despite centre being medium. Likely cooked too quickly on too high temperature. Felt embarrassed to return again so ate it as my wife was waiting to have her main. Complained again (which I would never normally do) so manager took my steak off the bill (least he could do). Overall, a disappointing evening and experience when out celebrating our anniversary. Cannot understand how a steak house cannot cook a steak correctly. Will not be returning

    Came to fire after being here many times before and expecting the same level of food and service as always. Our server was all over the place from the get go and we were waiting 15-20 mins just to have our order taken! We were told someone would be over with bread prior to our starter but that didn’t happen, we had to ask for some bread for my dads soup-didn’t even get butter with it, had to ask for that too! My goats cheese was lovely, no complaints about the starters. I had asked for cauliflower gratin as a side however they had run out on a Wednesday by 9pm even though there was many empty tables, was quite disappointed as I’ve never had this happen any time I’ve been before! I had the chicken for main which I enjoyed, my mum and partner both had the bream which they enjoyed. My dad got the lamb-by god it was awful! The menu advertises a rack of lamb with thyme roast potatoes and honey glazed roots, that isn’t what we got. For starters, the lamb was absolutely tiny, there was 4 very small pieces of meat on the plate and for it being the most expensive thing on the menu, we expected more. They also said the meat would be wood fired to pink, it most certainly was not pink, it was quite overdone! When the veg came out things went from bad to worse-instead of the thyme potatoes and honey glazed roots we got unseasoned, bland boiled veg which were still hard in the middle, they were totally inedible! I had gotten sweet potato fries so thankfully dad had something to eat! Our server never asked about our food so we never got a chance to raise our concerns. At the end of our dessert, we were left sitting there for ages and our server was nowhere to be found, neither was a manager! Tables were being prepped for the next day and there was a lot of tables waiting for bills! We finally got onto a girl from a different section and she got our bill then disappeared for 5 mins before coming back with the card machine. We never saw our server after that!

    Great welcome, wonderful timely, and generous service with Ahmed. Really gorgeous food and drinks - I am partial to a French 75 cocktail, and recommend the one here. My companion loved his steak, and my scallops were light and beautifully seasoned. A treat! Need to book in advance. Busy on a Wednesday night!

    Fun atmosphere and attentive service marred by food that is good but unremarkable. We tried the 35 day age steak and it was in line with what you expect from a typical steakhouse, but nothing memorable. If the quality of the food matched the quality of the ambiance more closely this place could something else.

    Beautiful restaurant unfortunately we were disappointed with the food. Cauliflower appetizer was just ok and was hoping the steak would be out of this world but it was not. Ordered the combination of filet, short rib and sirloin. Usually short rib falls of the bone but it was tough and the sauce was too strong. The other cuts were average. Service was great but definitely overpriced.

    Overall was just an ok experience but I was expecting something more. The food was also just ok. I cannot say that it was bad but it’s definitely not a place that I would go again. The environment is a very good thing but a part from that nothing else made my eyes shine
