We booked the Snow Globe as a prelude to Ice Castles which was unfortunately canceled. It was a wonderful experience for our grandkids and ourselves! Madison, our server, was outstanding! Anything we needed was brought immediately and with a smile. The food was surprisingly delicious- a definite upgrade from the past experiences with turf. Smokehouse. We were warm enough to take off jackets. Highly recommend this experience!!

Wonderful experience eating in the snow globe. The server was attentive and the food was delicious!! It was -8 degrees and the globe was 55. The wind chill.was below zero and the staff gave us extra blankets. I would recommend layering clothes, wearing warm shoes or boots, and asking for extra blankets if.going on a day it is extremely cold. I even thought of bringing a throw blanket from home. It is hard to keep the temp up in the globe when it is that cold. All in all, we.were fine and had a nice family dinner.

I had previously talked to Jackson Bell about a couple of questions concerning the Snow Globes because it was my first experience. I was very impressed with him in coordinating the celebration. I was very unclear who was our server was because they didn’t introduce themselves, maybe one was in training. Everyone one was very friendly!

Very scenic and unique dining experience. Our servers were excellent and the food came out fast and hot. My wife liked her salmon but my short rib was very fatty. We also had salads and dessert. I enjoyed the apple bread pudding. There were special food and drink offerings for the globes too. Overall a nice time.

It was a great time! It was a little chilly in the snow globe so definitely dress in layers. When we got there it was 42 degrees in the snow globe and when we left it was 45 degrees. They give you blankets to use as well. The service and food were amazing! If you order the pretzel it definitely feeds 4 and not 2 like the menu says - is huge and so delicious! The spinach and artichoke dip was so good too! We also got the Mac n cheese, truffle fries and Nashville hot chicken - all were so delicious! We had 7 girls in our globe which got comfortably. It is a round booth so not very comfortable if you have several very large people. Definitely recommend especially for a fun girlfriend night out.

Our server Danielle ruined our igloo experience. She might have been having a bad day and she made sure we feel the same. At one point she threw the appetizer plate on the table. She talked at us such that we felt like we were a burden to her. One hour after she had taken our orders, she came back and asked how was the food. But there was NO food. She went back and blamed everyone in the kitchen for forgetting to prepare our food. Then 5 minutes later, she brought all the food, turned out the food was actually ready waiting for us for half an hour, she was the one who forgot to bring them. I am giving two stars just because the food was not worse than mediocre. February 12, 2022 - 5pm, igloo 2.

I am not one to write public negative comments but I did try to privately reach out to resort with no response. This was not a great experience. The heater produced little heat, the food was cold, the bottom of the igloo was blowing cold air. I think the food would have been good but due to the temperatures of food could not tell. The waiters did all they could. My kids were so excited for this event. Such a disappointment for a 300 plus event. I was only asking for the 100 fee back as it was about 30 degrees in the igloo. More than happy to pay for the food. Yet, no response back from management. I wanted to privately reach them so they could better the experience for others without this public message…but as above, no response.

We arrived right when they opened and they were still setting our table. Glad we didn’t get there 15 minutes early as recommended. The igloo heater was a joke as the entire bottom of the igloo is open to outside. We figured it’s an igloo so we’d be chilly. It took 30 minutes to get served just drinks. Finally took our orders and got that nearly 30 minutes later. Over an hour waiting and finally got our cold meals. Fries were over cooked and cold and most all the food was mediocre. Horrible service and overpriced. Definitely would not go again.

We went in our igloo and waited over 30 minutes. No server ever came and we did not even get water. We left after 35 minutes. We reserved an igloo for dining, and waited for over 30 minutes in it while no server ever came in to help us, or even bring water. We just left. Horrible service, and they still charged me the reservation fee!

It was a fun experience for a special occasion. However, the service was not timely and we had to wait a long time to place our food and drink orders. The heater did not so much, but the igloo did a good job of blocking the wind. I wouldn’t do it again, but it was fun as a one time experience.

Let me start by saying it was 24 degrees out and breezy, so maybe it would be different otherwise… Overall the experience was COLD! The tents are very thin plastic and the heaters inside are not sufficient to heat the entire space. We spent all of dinner with our coats and hats on drinking hot tea. When booking I did not read the fine print and did not realize the $100 fee was in ADDITION to the food… you are basically renting the igloo for $100, everything else is in addition to this $100 fee. The food here is bar food at best. Which also I did not realize… also my fault… I was expecting a fine dining type meal and that was not the case… food was equivalent to fast food BBQ served on metal trays with paper on them. Overall noting was bad but nothing was amazing… The servers were incredibly nice and friendly. I almost feel bad writing this because everyone was so nice, however the overall experience was not worth $200, which was our total after igloo rental. Some suggestions… 1. Bottoms of the igloos need to be sealed so cold air does not come in… 2. Some sort of music should be provided for guests… it was very quiet and we ended up playing music on our phone. 3. Heaters need to be improved or upgraded on colder nights. 4. Ambiance could have been improved… carpets on the ground, more pillows and blankets, more Christmas lights, and more decorations. 5. Staff should set timers to check in tables… there was a lot of downtime between visits from the server… you kind of feel forgotten outside in the cold… alone… 6. Food presentation could use an upgrade unless that is the style you are going for… Overall it was a cold disappointing experience…

We booked the igloos for a date night. It was subpar decorated and the heater they had in there was junky. The food was cold by the time it got to us. If this place is supposedly to be a bbq joint then I’d recommend going elsewhere. The meat was dry and flavorless. The side salad was good but the sweet corn risotto was just rice with steamed corn in it… hardly a risotto at all. And to have a $100 reservation holding is outrageous. I could see that kind of booking fee at the Hunts Club, but here?! You’ve got to be kidding. The only thing that I could give a positive review about was the side salad and the server we had was absolutely amazing.

My wife and I booked the igloo not knowing what to expect. Happy to say that it was beyond our expectations. We were greeted graciously and walked to our igloo. Once we arrived our server (Victoria) asked us if we wanted a blanket and a bluetooth speaker. The igloo was not too cold, a sweater/fleece/light jacket is all you'll need. Service was perfect, we got to spend time together listen to some music, but never waited on drinks or food. It was the perfect level of service. And the food was outstanding. I would highly recommend.

Having dinner in the igloos prior to our visit to the ice castle was a great way to start our evening! Our server was excellent and we were extremely pleased with the food. Loved having our private space. The restaurant accommodated my request for a birthday cake for our friend who was celebrating a birthday! I called ahead a couple weeks to request and they came through! Can’t wait to do it again!

Unfortunately, it took forever to get drinks and the waiter wasn’t too attentive. We were seated after our reservation time and we’re told we still had to leave at the regular time. Half of the lights were not working and we squeezed 8 people into a 4 person table. 1/2 ate with their plates on their lap. $400 later we will never do it again.

Overall nice experience. The food was good. The service was good. It was private and quiet with no distractions. I will be honest. This is at the resort that hosts the Ice Castles. I thought they had built real igloos for this experience. They were actually clear plastic dome shaped tents. Also based on the description, I thought the price included beverages and appetizers, but the price was for the rental time only. Not sure I would do it again for that price.

Overall, the experience was ok. The igloos were not as nice as I thought they would be for the price. But I guess it’s one of those things you have to experience once. The food was also just ok. The bruschetta, choriqueso, and fish tacos were delicious. The burger was good, brisket was bland and ribs were not fall off the bone. The server was sweet but didn’t know the menu well. Someone else stopped by a few times (my guess is she was the manager) but when we asked for things like take home containers and a steak knife, she seemed annoyed. Of about the 5 ppl that came by our igloo, most did not smile and also didn’t seem to have the time to listen. Service could definitely improve here to give customers a better experience.

We went for lunch. The igloo is a fun place to be. Unique. It was warm in the igloo, so that was really nice. Our food, however, was a huge let down. We looked forward to the barbecue as we had read reviews on how good it was. Everyone ordered something from the barbecue (brisket, pork, chicken, etc), but all of our food came out cold, not really even with a hint of warmth. The brisket was super fatty with hardly any meat on it, sort of like it was the scraps of the batch. One son commented that it seemed like we get yesterday's leftover meat, and he may have been right. We was them loading the slow cookers with raw meat (probably for the dinner crowd) as we sat in our igloo so we really wondered if we got yesterday's meat that had not be fully reheated. Even my husband's baked beans were not hot, or even warm. None of us really ate our food. It was not good. This was a huge bummer, because we were all really hungry. That night, we walked through the restaurant and smelled and saw the delicious food. So, it really made us think that we got a very inferior lunch in our igloo. Sadly, we would would not return especially since the igloo is an extra fee and that fee is not credited toward your food. Thumbs down for us. Sorry.
