Great food great staff!
Great food but very loud.
This was my first time trying a place like this and I loved it. The waitress I had was very good and I would give her a 10 which is perfect. I would be trying this place out again. 5 stars !
The problem was mainly the service. There was no way to get a hold of our server, or any server for that matter. We were consistently ignored, and what made it even worse was the fact that this was supposed to be special since we had a birthday in the group, my birthday. I turned 18 that day, and was hoping for a special surprise which I did request. When we sat and ate for lunch we were still charged the dinner price as well, which made our 4 person party cost 85$. This is more than even an average restaurant which this does not come close to.
Great value for what you receive. It's really overwhelming at first, but once you figure out the process it is fun. Kids love it!
We had a party of 14 and made a reservation. Once we all arrived we were quickly sat. The food was great. Absolutely love the Fajita sauce, makes everything so tasty. Great prices, great atmosphere and look. We go a few times a yr.
food was amazing staff was great and drinks were the best! see you all again
Brunch Was Great! You can eat lunch and breakfast at the same time.
Sunday brunch with family traveling here from California. The restaurant was not crowded when we got there so there were no lines. The food was decent, and you choose your own. I love being able to select from a wide variety. Once more people were arriving the space got a little crowded and people were waiting in short lines. Overall a good experience.
Bad service and to expensive and they force me to pay tip that was over my budget, this was my first time and I never eat a restaurant expensive like fire and ice and I will not recommend someone to go there, this is my last time being there
i asked my server for a water EIGHT TIMES (every time she came over) and she NEVER CAME BACK WITH MY WATER
Overpriced for poor food. Many choices but food is poorly cooked.
I took my family there this past Saturday for lunch (1:30pm) for my sons 19th birthday.
We had to ask someone how it works, as nobody informed us.
It was very busy, there were no lines or organization to the different food stations. My daughter (age 25) was so overwhelmed after standing in the pasta/grain area for 10 minutes she went back to the table and sat down.
I too was extremely frustrated with rude customers, no lines and no direction. At the sauce station there was a young adult (early 20's) sticking his finger in each of the sauces to taste them (gross). Several sauces were empty.
I went up to the hibachi with my small bowl of raw ingredients (raw chicken on top of all other ingredients..gross) and waited 10 minutes before putting my bowl down in frustration and going back to my table. 3 out of 5 us could not do the hibachi.
I explained to my waitress my frustration. She was very good, she said that she understood and that she wouldn't be able to do it either. She said it's not typically that crazy. She then spoke to her manager who took the 3 meals off the bill.
I was hoping for something fun, delicious and memorable for my sons birthday but unfortunately it didn't turn out that way.
All you can eat salad, pasta, stir fry. Expensive for the quality. Good for big groups. Cocktails are alright, super sweet and over the top if thats what you're looking for
We love Fire and Ice. We are so sad that there is only one on the east coast! We went a wedding in Danvers, MA this weekend and made a special trip into Boston for Fire and Ice. It is fun, a way to shake up the "eating out doldrums" where you don't feel like cooking, but you are tired of the usual fare. Our children enjoyed it and honestly, if you only order the meal--it's not that much more than fast food for four--except healthier and way more satisfying!
Great times, great times.
We always stop into Fire + Ice when we are in Boston. Usually the food and service is great, however this last visit was disappointing. We made a reservation and still had to wait almost 30 minutes after our scheduled reservation time (we got there 5 minutes early). The food was either overcooked or undercooked, the chefs didn't seem to be able to coordinate the cooking times.
This isn’t the ideal place for a laid back easy going person. It’s a food eating club. All you can eat, loud thumping music and flashing lights. I’ll never be eating here again. It’s pretty overpriced for what you get as well. Cheap food, poor quality meat at a premium because of quantity.
Its just not my cup of tea. I have allergies so my food couldn't even be cooked out front. I did not know I would have to wait on lines to get raw food. Looking at the steps up to the dining restaurant and floor in restaurant it was very dirty. Too loud. Really nothing I liked about it.
Definitely a tourist attraction because of the presentation and preparation of the food, not because the food itself is good. My friend and I don’t plan to visit again due to the bland food and crowded dining room. Seeing the check was also a shock given the subpar quality of the ingredients and experience.
Everything was delicious and fun here. We had a good time!! Great service and people. It is loud with music and energy.
This was my second time at Fire and Ice and I can't wait to go back! The food and drinks were delicious and the atmosphere was buzzing and energetic. The only complaint was that we (our group of 3) were there for about 2 hours and the waitress seemed to forget about us the last 45 minutes or so and it was difficult to flag her down to get the check. Everything else was great and contributed to a wonderful experience!
The food was varied and good, but the ambiance is a bit tacky. Music was good but loud. That meant that hearing the (very nice) wait staff was not always easy. Wasn’t quite sure the rules of the place before we went up to the buffets. Cooks were good at their jobs, if a little gruff. One seemed to roll his eyes at my daughter’s separate bowl of corn.
The visual of bowls of meats and fish on ice was a bit off-putting. The fish fillets were piled so high in the bowls that I was wary of the top pieces being chilled at all. I stuck with the more popular types as the bowls were emptier and so the fish was definitely kept cold.
I don't really understand the appeal of having to get your own food and stajd around to watch someone cook it but reviews seemed fun. No one really appeared to be having fun unless they were taking a selfie. Food was ok but didn't feel like waiting in line for the next round.
We had a great time ..
Do not go here unless you like loud noise, a chaotic environment and dirty floors. The first thing that struck me when I walked in was the trash all over the floors. The restaurant is super noisy and there are people milling about everywhere getting their food. Out waitress was nice but arrived with stained clothing and gave us bowls that were dirty;( I guess the food was fine but I honestly couldn’t get past the atmosphere to enjoy it. Never again....
had a great Easter Brunch , food was good, everything was great. family loved it
As always a great great Sunday brunch....been doing it or Easter with our boys for 9 years now
Fun place to go with the kids after seeing Blue Man Group!
Chaotic confined dirty unorganized food mediocre at best. No organization when getting food at different bars. No organization when waiting to have food cooked. Constantly instructed to go to different spots. Tables very close and no one cleaned them promptly.
Awesome! Great place, great service. I highly recommend Fire and Ice for all celebrations. Family and friends are welcome.
There for my sons birthday food was great little too noisy but that’s what you expect when you go there so no surprise our waitress was outstanding I wish I could remember her name she was absolutely wonderful and he was very attentive and a pleasure to deal with
Fun, vibrant and good value for the money. You will like the food and the experience
Had an awesome birthday for my son’s girlfriend. Wait staff made it very special. Food was amazing! A fun night!
Was my daughters birthdays so we tried this place out. We all had a good time. The kids loved the cheese burgers! Our waitress was awesome even sang happy birthday to them. Over all great time. Would go again.
My wife is a BIG fan of Fire + Ice. So, we took the kiddies there on vacation. Fire + Ice made a believer out of me! For a busy night, the service stayed on-point throughout our entire visit. The meat and veggie selection surprised me, especially since everything looked so fresh (even after 8:30pm when we arrived). I only wish there were more seafood options. Fire + Ice is definitely a must stop on my next trip to Boston!
Had a great time. Food, drinks and staff were all excellent.
good service, different style for dinner, good for a family dinner
Food was great, we used student discount and the price was unbelievably low, it was crowded though. Overall we really enjoyed our time at this place.
Too noisy to catch up with friends easily. Didn't love the quality of the food.
