We came on a fanstastic snowy night where the crowd was too a minimum. My boyfriend purposed to me and the AMAZING cooks and dishwashers fished my ring out of the toilet (he was a little nervous!). The staff was very attentive and we will certainly be returning! Thank you to all for giving me the most memorable night of my life!
We really appreciated being given the semi-private room as we were celebrating a significant birthday. Everyone enjoyed the event tremendously. It was fairly priced and the only comment was to be sure to tell the chef if you don't want your food well done.
Fire and Ice was a long time favorite of mine when my kids were babies. After taking them to Blue Man Group, I thought it would be a great 'big kid' experience. Sadly, Fire and Ice is not what it used to be. The building is tired, my booth was duct taped, and overall it had an unclean feeling to it. The food selection was not that great- offering very little vegetable options, a sad looking meat selection and less than desirable sauces; even the salad bar was set up oddly- with dressings in random placement.... Our server was not attentive, failed to bring clean silverware, or leave what was used; and made many errors on the bill- one of which was charging me for 5 adults when clearly I had two children! I was disappointed and left feeling sad that perhaps Fire and Ice has seen its day.
Made a reservation for my daughters 18th birthday dinner with her friends... THEY LOVED IT! They all raved about their 3 entrees they got and the fun experience. They spend over 2.5 hours there and the staff was amazing. They even sang happy birthday to her and gave her a dessert and candle!
Food was good. A lot to choose from. Drinks were excellent. Too crowded and was given wrong food.
Excellent service and food, we definitely will go back when in Boston again.
Great place and very reasonably priced. Only negative would be the overall cleanliness. Seems like it has been quite some time since their last deep cleaning.
I was there Saturday night, I made a reservation online and resquested s booth, once I got there I told the hostess that I would prefer a booth if there was any available. If there wasn’t it wouldn’t be a problem!! she didn’t acknowledge anything I said to her she sat me a table didn’t say anything at all and left! She was very rude and dismissive! The food is always great on the plus side
My partner & I had such a great time ! The only thing was that it took long to get a table, it was almost 30 minutes wait, when we already made reservations.
Great food and service. The cooks are talented and great at what they do.
Eating out is hard when you want a variety of healthy options, but this place is now my go-to when I want to treat myself to a night out. As long as you're not getting a ton of pasta or bread with your meals, this place is perfect for keto and paleo diets; Really can't go wrong with unlimited vegetables and proteins! At just $22 a person, Fire+Ice is pretty cheap for A.) the amount of food and B.) dining out in Boston. If they added pearl onions, green beans, and brussel sprouts to their vegetable cart, I don't think I would ever leave :).
Amazing! For sure I’ll get back again 😍
Dinner was delicious and drinks too
The drinks service and table attention was adequate at best, basically a little slow. But the cooks made up for it by being efficient and good at their jobs. None of my food was cooked improperly and they handled special requests from my party well.
I’ve been here twice and I’ve had a blast just wish the chefs would interact more.
The dining experience was amazing the waitress was outstanding and the cooks were very friendly and major food to order
The concept of fire and ice is wonderful. However the staff was not very helpful so it was confusing. My fruit punch was like koolaid syrup as it was extremely sweet. The restuarant needs remodeling as my seat was taped with duck tape and the sponge in the seat also seemed to be worn out. The food was tasty and the chefs were very accommodating.
I really enjoyed my meal. I love the Mongolian grill, and being able to pick a medley of ingredients and sauces. It was pretty busy, but the cooks crank out the food.
Love this place.
My 12 year old son loves Fire and Ice. This is our 3rd visit and I find the restaurant messy and outdated. We were seated next to the grill so basically in a thoroughfare and in the midst of the exhaust from the grill. The food is mediocre but it’s definitely a fun atmosphere for kids.
Our server King was wonderful and so personable. I've been coming here for years for my sister's birthday dinner, and this time we took my roommate out for her birthday dinner. We all had such a great time.
Always a treat. We have a hard time eating anywhere else when we visit Boston, always look forward to it -
Great for anyone.. even low carb'ers like myself. With plenty of meats and veggies. Great atmosphere.
If you're a vegetarian/vegan, although they advertise to cater to this audience, and in theory they do with the veggie burger and pasta, the cross contamination on the grill is extreme. Of the person next to you has meat, the same spatula is used for many people regardless of if it touches the meat. Also, if they chip the person's meat up next to you, it's almost impossovle to not find a chunk of meat in your food.
The food was okay, not a gigantic selection of food. Not great for a large group, we had 8 people and they stuck us in the corner with the round booth. This made it very difficult to continually get up to get more food. The food was ok but not great, a few of us ended up getting sick. After all it was all said and done it came out to about $30 per person for just food a soda and gratuity. If you ask me that is a little overpriced for ok food that got us sick. Maybe we just got unlucky, I’m not sure might enjoy going back in the future to give it a second chance. But with the $30 price point I think I’ll stay away from there for a while.
Good food. Poor show. Bad service.
Awesome restaurant! They are really nice about dietary restrictions or allergens. Delicious food, wonderful service, and talented chefs. Great for a date or the whole family. We will definitely be returning!
King was a great server. Thanks for the birthday fun!
This was my first time coming here and I really enjoyed it. The food was great and I’ll definitely come back again.
Fun atmosphere for the whole family, and our server Carla was fantastic!
I loved it. I had bariatric surgery and they honored my vsg card and only paid kids price. I only can eat small portion. I'm in a keto diet and there is so much meat it was a feast with no carbs lol . The service was awesome and we went NYE it was that bad the waiting I did reservation ahead. I will def go again.
It was New Year’s eve so it was crazy busy. Seated 45 min late but we where offered seats in the bar much sooner. They need a bar tender, lots of adults sitting in there with no drinks, someone lost out on a lot of $$$! Place was crazy and messy but it’s to be expected on that night. Staff was very nice, helped with food allergy issues quickly and with a smile. We have been before and will go back, our college age kids love the music and fun vibe.
Celebrating my daughters 16th. It was a nice experience and everyone had a pleasant time.
Other than our extremely rude waitress I had a blast at Fire + Ice
We thought the price per person for dinner was $21 (as listed on the website), but they had a special $30/person price for New Years. Should have made this change more apparent. Food was decent, but did not appreciate being surprised by the check.
Went there for New Year’s Eve. Place was packed but it was fun. They told us they had 900 reservations for the night.
We went there to celebrate New Year’s eve. The place was packed and the lines to the grill were enormous. It took out all the fun of the event when we needed to stand in line for a long time to get our food cooked. The place was extremely noisy and loud. On top of that they charged us extra because of the special occasion of New Year’s Eve without letting us know in advance when we made the reservation. The absolute worst was the dessert which was included in the extra charge of the meal and was a whoopie pie in a plastic bag, just like you buy in a store. We expected much more than that and certainly will not come back there ever again
We had a great time. Our server was great! However we had a reservation for 9pm not knowing the kitchen would close at 10. So we had our food and then ordered ice cream for the ice cream bar. As we were going up to get our toppings an employee saw us coming and was taking the toppings in from the bar. We asked if we could get some toppings still and she continued to take them in from right in front of us and proceeded to tell us it was closed. I was very upset because she saw us coming and still continued to take them in and took them from right in front of us!! And didn’t even offer to let us take some. We had to ask our waiter for toppings and he gave us some. Other than that we had a great time.
Went here with my cousins after a fun night in Boston!! Much better than the providence fire and ice. Was very happy with the food
Was not happy with seating at all, cramped and wasnt accomadated
