Fire 2 Fork
It was incredible! Sat at chefs table and watching them perfect their culinary magic was amazing!
Meal was excellent just a bit salty on the salad. Loved the steak, short ribs, red snapper!
6:30 res. And they were out of beef tartar. Kitchen needs to up its game.
Great food & service
Excellent farm to table, a bit pricey, but worth it. We ordered chicken, steak, salmon and short rib. All excellent. Highly recommend.
Great but there should be a chicken option.
Food was ok but service was poor. Noise level was almost unbearable!
Went for our wedding anniversary. This was our second time there and we weren’t disappointed either time. Fantastic food, atmosphere is amazing, and the service was wonderful. Our favorite new local restaurant.
A terrific new addition to the Lake Geneva area food scene. Located in the old Millie's Pancake House, the owners have done a great renovation with an open kitchen and grill. We enjoyed a seat at the bar and watched the meals get prepped. The wine list was not too expansive and they had several draft beers available. We had a wonderful beef tartare and salmon as starters and enjoyed both. For the main course, they were introducing a standard in Wisconsin on Friday nights...the fish fry. It was delicious and we recommend both fried and the baked fish. Be sure and make time for a stop at Fire 2 Fork if you are up in the area.
We thoroughly enjoyed our food but the service was disappointing.
Our waitress looked disheveled with stains down her shirt, and her shirt was clearly too small for her.
We ordered wine and she broke the cork inside the bottle, she poured the wine dripping it everywhere.
Later she returned to fill up our glasses and actually knocked a full glass of wine over( she did replace it with a small carafe.)
On removing our dirty plates she tried to carry too much and dropped a plate on our table, well after the wine glass we were nervous!
Food was good, service poor. Her knowledge of the wine and dealing with wine was zero.
Service training definitely required.
Mixed reviews on food. Brand new restaurant - want to give it time.
Overall slow service. Food was below average. In general very disappointing. Our anniversary reservation was completely ignored.
A whole new appreciation for chefs and staff!
We sat at the Chef’s table (counter), with a great view into the kitchen, for a tasting menu on their busiest night yet!!
Chef Jesse took time to explain each dish, you can tell he has a passion for his art!
If they decide to put pumpkin soup on the menu TRY it!!!
I ordered the red snapper and they brought me the prawns by mistake. When they brought the snapper it was the worst, fishiest dish I’ve ever had. I sent it back and asked for the prawns without red sauce. It was almost as fishy as the snapper, so I ended up eating nothing for dinner. The server was ok at best. I realize this is a newer restaurant but you all have a lot to work through!
Very disappointing! Service was terrible. Waited 2 hours for our food. Burgers were raw. Presentation of the prawns was shameful and the chef should be embarrassed. Farm to table should scream freshness with farm stands everywhere! People at other tables were getting irritated too. Had to ask for our drinks numerous times. Comping something instead of an apology would have been nice. Shocking there wasn’t a manager or owner there on a Saturday night when you’re a new establishment and obviously put big bucks in your decor and kitchen. Hoping they can pull themselves together. Love to have new places to go to but this one is off the list for now!
Our party of four had an outstanding experience at Fire2Fork! The atmosphere of the restaurant is unique with the open fire preparation of the delicious food. The fact that the food is locally sourced is truly a wonderful attribute to the unusual (but delicious) food preparations. We ordered the High Field Farms cheese curds battered flash fried (yummy), a smoked salmon snack plate, cheese tart sour dough starter, Red Snapper with greens and a sweet potato coulis and we all split the Creme Brule (sp). Fabulous! We are making plans to bring others in the near future. Kudos to Chef John!!!
Food was excellent, server was very informative about the dishes. The only problem was the noise level you could not hear people at the table talking. Several table made the same comment.
The meal was very good, 2nd time there in a week.
The food and scene was amazing. I highly recommend the restaurant.
We are so excited to have such a high quality restaurant down the street from us! They did such a great design and concept inside it should be a NY restaurant. The food was superb with every detail. The wait staff was knowledgeable and informative as well as attentive. Overall experience was a 10+
Excited about the new dinner choice in the Delavan area
I loved the decor and the farm to table food! The pate and bread was scrumptious with the honey. I would have liked more fig or fig chutney on my fig pizza, but the crust was perfect crunchy and delicious. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the food and how it was made. It was a perfect dinner. We look forward to our next visit.
Everything was great! Enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was awesome.
Fire 2 Fork is an amazing restaurant. The produce used is locally grown, the butters are churned on-site, the desserts and salads are home made. There is an open fire in the middle of the restaurant where the chef prepares the food, providing healthy burgers, steaks and ribs, as well as roasted peppers and garlics. Casual, yet up-scale, the food is excellent!
Hadn’t heard about this restaurant and it was quite a nice surprise. Wishing Fire 2 Fork great success and looking forward to dining there again.
Food was good but not for the price. Very little on the way of side dishes. Not even Bread was included. Setting is beautiful.
Loved every aspect of our experience
We visited during their first week being open and couldn’t have been more impressed! We sat at the bar overlooking the kitchen. The food was fantastic and interesting, the service attentive and the owners terrific and passionate about food and the area. Definitely going back!
The ambiance was great but the food was okay at best. Bartender had issues with knowing what St. Germaine/elderflower was and basically had a terrible pour all around. The oysters were good, highlight on the pickled onion but the pricey 32 steak was grainy and beyond marbled. It was straight up thick layers of gristle and fat beyond what is acceptable. Great wine list and a decent cocktail menu, ample seating. Clean bathrooms. Overall just okay, but as locals we won’t return.
Great addition to the neighborhood - a welcome alternative to pizza or Friday night fish fry!
As an owner it was my personal desire to be a part of a restaurant that would serve imaginative recipes, uniquely prepared and graciously served in a beautiful yet inviting atmosphere. Chef John Schnupp and his extraordinary staff have created a wonderful culinary treasure in Fire2Fork exceeding my expectations. I am excited to follow the evolution of this menu and restaurant! We welcome everyone to experience our best - it's all for you.
