Fiorella is a Neigborhood Italian restaurant in the heart of the Richmond district. We serve wood fired pizza, pasta, antipasti & Italian vino in a casual neighborhood setting.
What Insiders Are Saying
A modern pizza place that's a great addition to the Richmond.
What a great find in the neighborhood with delicious food, good wine choices that are unique vs. the same as everyone else, a team that works very hard to take care of diners, a space the is bright and clean and well laid out. My only issue is that the seats are solid wood and they aren't the most comfortable, but then we stayed much longer than we should have!! A true gem that is well worth going to and going back to.
The service is impeccable! The team is amazing and the food is great and fresh!
This is a neighborhood gem! The pasta dishes are all quite tasty and excellent - comfort food and just the right portion size. We tried a variety of starters (carrots, fava bean/pea crostini, borlotti beans+kale, and the suppli) which were all hearty and delicious. Great wine list too! We will come back next time to try the pizzas!
It was very busy but we had reservations and were seated right away. The waitress took our order without much delay although it seemed like a long time for the food to arrive. When it did it was excellent! The place is noisy but has a good vibe. We'd go there again in a heartbeat.
Great food, great service! Loved everything about this place! We’ll be back for sure.
Went here for our daughter’s graduation and it was a perfect choice. The food was delicious and the room wasn’t so precious that we felt we couldn’t get a little loud and have a good time. The waitstaff was attentive and helpful. Overall, it was a great experience and I would come back again.
Love this place!! Excellent staff! The best pasta :)
Excellent service only surpassed by the delicious food.
Service and the food are always amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great neighborhood place in the Richmond. Delicious brunch - excellent service.
As a brunch-hater, I didn't expect much. Especially not from a place known for wallpaper worth stealing and Zagat-listed best pizza.
Walking in, however, my mind was changed even before I sat down. The wallpaper IS worth stealing. The food on people's tables looked amazing. It wasn't all heavy eggs Benedict and bacon-laden quiche, and the customers were neighbors rather than loud-talking, pretentious bros. The atmosphere was fun, not bright, not like anywhere else, and seemed buzzy in a good way. Like they're not going to screw it up and they may actually all like working here, too.
The pizza was not greasy or heavy, the wings, French toast and egg dishes we ordered were delicious and perfect - not too much flavor, but not too precious. The best thing on the table was the Smoked Trout Toast. We all kept tasting it. We couldn't exactly figure out what it contained. Just crunchy, fresh, delicious, flavorful, creamy and bright, and smoky pieces of trout. We could figure that out. What looked like Cole slaw was shaved green apples, chunks of celery root, watermelon radishes, all on top of some fancy lemon aioli. Sort of Cole slaw but if Cole slaw was created by Alice Waters.
I still hate brunch but this was something way beyond brunch. No eggs Benedict or greasy sauces, no servers who weren't at the total top of their game and gosh-darned happy about working there, no mistakes, no waiting, no reason to not love going out except the fact that, being local and definitely within walking distance, it's going to be too easy to spend all my non-tech-bro money here.
Delicious food and wonderful service
Nice place, good service, seated near the kitchen. Appetizers were good, pasta was good, pizzas were dry and needed more sauce or cheese. Too many bites of just dry pizza crust without toppings. We had the sausage and fennel, and also the mushroom. Overall our first experience was ok and we would try it again hoping for better pizza.
A very good Italian spot in the Richmond district...a very broad antipasti menu loaded with great choices...the problem is narrowing it down to two or so to share. Guess we'll have to go back several times more to taste them all. The pastas are outstanding...on the most recent menu the paparadelle w/pork is outstanding as is the bucatini pomodoro. We recommend it highly, but make a reservation.
It’s not the neighborhood place it used to be. Service is rushed and food takes too long. I miss the old Fiorella that was my neighborhood go to.
Really liked this place even though my low-carb diet didn’t permit their specialties (pasta and pizza). We really enjoyed the asparagus appetizer and my chicken Milanese was excellent. My friend took a lot of her pork chop home but really enjoyed it. And excellent service in a heated courtyard, at a reasonable price for this level of food.
Amazing service from both the host and waitress- the Cacio e pepe, bucatini, and Panna cotta are absolutely to die for!! Fiorella will always be one of my favorites
Enjoyed the food and service. Great place in the neighborhood!
Fantastic! Gus was great and extremely helpful.
Great place and lovely people there. A very "now" place. Wallpaper is something to enjoy - very clever. Pizzas are outstanding and other sides are definitely flavorful, but overall, it IS pricey.
great service, delicious food, wonderful people. my favorite spot in the richmond!
I took my boyfriend to Fiorella for his birthday and we had an amazing experience! We started with the suppli al telefono and the wood fired octopus. They were both so flavorful and well balanced. We scraped up every last bit of the sauces, they were so good.
Then for entrees we had the clam pie, spicy salami pie and the spaghetti with pepper and Parmesan. The pizzas had a perfect thin crust and the clam one was a light lemony creamy pizza with cooked clams. The spicy salami was more classic and was very satisfying without being too heavy. The pasta with the pepper and Parmesan is buttery and perfectly cooked.
For dessert we had the chocolate gelato with hazelnuts and they treated us with a big piece of banana bread that they normally serve at breakfast. Everything we ate was perfect, we had no complaints. Service was great as well, our waitress was very sweet and even took our picture after dinner.
I would be, and have been, recommending this to everyone.
Wonderful gem in the Richmond.
If you enjoy thin crust pizza Fiorella had a tasty selection. Will be back.
I love this place! Best food, great ambiance! Romantic and fun.
It was really great!
We loved it. Everything we've tried here has been delicious! We can especially recommend the grilled octopus and the pate w/crostini.
Ate outside. Great grilled octopus & a terrific pizza! Great food, nice spot.
The chicken wings were the main event. The pizza was good.
Boyfriends bday. Server was great. Spicy salami pizza was amazing!
Terrible service and they charge $3.00 per person for a birthday cake that you bring in. Food was mediocre and will not return or recommend to anyone!
Awesome! Bets pizza in SF, recommend the one with the Burratta on top!
Good was amazing. Service was a bit on the slow side. Would go back though.
Lovey brunch spot
Wonderful food and great service. Our waitress gave lots of good tips on the menu.
This place is a neighborhood gem. It is always very tasty and a lovely evening out. I took my daughter and my only complaint was that I asked for a salad without nuts as she has a nut allergy and the salad came out with, what? nuts. Luckily I checked but they promptly brought another one.
We've been there several times and have loved it every time! We tend to be spur of the moment people so if we decide at the last minute we feel like their pasta we can't get in. We have to PLAN~
Excellent all around - will be back soon. Great service too!
One of my favorite places in SF. It's hard to find a better meal at this price point.
A great restaurant that never disappoints.
Fabulous food. Bit noisy. Happy servers. Would come back.
