It was wonderful! My server was very nice and attentive. We had a great time. Delicious food and dessert!
Perhaps we had a brand new server ? She seemed to know nothing about the menu or how to wait tables. Chicken on the salad and pizza was over cooked and inedible however the Caesar salad, ravioli and margherita pizza were good.
Great food, reasonable prices, and a friendly staff.
Excellent dinner after a day in DC. We had to wait a few minutes for our table but that was OK. Our waiter was awesome - quick and efficient - very polite and professional. Pizza is to DIE FOR! All made fresh on site. Enough leftovers for another meal at home. Definitely recommend!
The pizza was good and the salad was average (2 people did not like it and 2 did). The waitress asked for our drinks and total order at the same time. The drinks staggered out In 2-3 minute gaps first the beer, then the wine, followed by the martini. I ordered a dirty vodka martini. There were 0 olives and it tasted watered down. I never thought one could mess up that drink, but I was proved wrong. I ordered the “chicken parmesan pepperoni (not sure I got the full name correct), and it is NOT chicken parm. I don’t know what they were thinking but it tasted like Chicken Fried Steak w/ pepperoni and cheese. Lastly, we our food came the tried to give it to another table. I’m hoping many other people had a good experience there, but I did not. I don’t think we will go back, but if I do I’ll stick with the pizza. I wouldn’t call it an Italian restaurant though, more like a brick oven pizza joint.
The menu did not match what we had seen on open table so we were not able to get anything we had planned on. Our server was kind of non existent and not very knowledgeable about the quite limited menu. The food was fair. The mozzarella appetizer was good but the open face lasagna was pretty sad. It was more of a pie than a lasagna and the pasta was thick and gummy Overall it was very disappointing, especially considering it was supposed to be a birthday celebration. We will not be back
Pizza was great and our son enjoyed the spaghetti. I don’t know if they changed the grand salad or we just ordered incorrectly. If they changed it we prefer the old one. The new one is not as tasty and has too much salad dressing on it. Bring back the old one!
Made an early reservation to allow time between our concert and dinner. From the second we sat down to the time we walked out the door we were rushed. Ordered a bottle of wine two apps and two entrees, by the time I traded the wine the apps were out which was nice. Within two minutes out entrees arrived... I'm all for a quickness but instead of pushing food out ensure its of a quality standard. Entrees were mediocre. Follow through of service after entrees arrived was nonexistent after I was asked if I wanted a box for my entree, mind you I was still eating the appetizer.
Every time we go to National Harbour, we eat at Fiorella’s. While we focus on the traditional wood-fired oven-baked pizzas, they have great pasta and starters, too. What sets them apart from other National Harbour eateries, we think, is their personal, friendly service. Even during peak times for conventions at the Gaylord, the Fiorella’s front staff, bar crew, servers, and pizzaioli (pizza makers) rock the venue - every time. Go and see if we are wrong. We think we will find us right.
I had a Business lunch and the food and service was very good. It was a rainy over cast weekday but I really would expect that this would be a great place on a sunny day for the outside seating.
Salad was great along with Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo, Salmon not so much. On the noisy side but that is what the reviews said.
Amazing food and great atmosphere. Never disappoints! Fried mozzarella balls and the fennel sausage pizza are must orders. Excellent service every time.
We decided to try this establishment because it was National Harbor Restaurant week. We reside at the harbor, but rarely eat at other places at the harbor, besides Bond 45 or Public House. I must say, I was extremely dissatisfied. I had the Ravioli with the lemon (can remember the name) cocktail and my Mr had the Salmon. We shared the meatballs.
When I asked the waitress “what would she recommend” beverage wise, she said I don’t know I do everything good. Well, I would be one to disagree. The food just seemed to lack. It was room temp....the taste seemed to be one step off. The best part was the hostess. She was very polite. Other than that....everyone just seemed like they were ready to go home.
On a good note they prepare their pizzas brick-oven style. While I didn’t enjoy my meal, had it not been for the horrible service, I would have returned to ATLEAST try the pizza. Unfortunately, that won’t be happening.
We were celebrating my daughter's birthday with three of her best girlfriends. Our server was lovely and attentive, but not overly so. She made the young ladies feel welcome and important. The food arrived with great timing; just enough to enjoy the delicious fried mozzarella balls, without having to wonder when the main course was coming.
There was a lot of wonderful food (plenty of leftovers!); overall, it was a fabulous and highly enjoyable experience.
Good experience. Very nice bartender. We will return again.
The food was delicious! My husband and I shared the house salad and it was so good! I could eat that every day! I also had a yummy margarita pizza and my husband enjoyed the lasagna. No complaints about the food!
We met our niece and her kids for dinner during their fencing tournament. The lasagna was the BEST i have ever had and i have had a lot of lasagna!. The only downside was that a very large group came in while we were eating and made a LOT of noise until they got seated and started to eat. I guess their good food shut them up and everyone was happy.
I went to Fiorella's with my 18 year old daughters (vegartaians) . We started out with rosemary french fries - very good. Then split a caesar salad - whole romaine leaves, delicious dressing, then a mushroom pizza - 1/2 alfredo sauce and 1/2 marinara sauce - best pizza ever - thin crust.
I made a reservation a few days before NYE. We arrived a little early and our table was ready for us and we were seated immediately. Food was amazing and so was the service. Highly recommend the fried mozzarella balls, baked chicken Alfredo, Caesar salad and the fennel sausage pizza. Also the Chianti was amazing!!! Atmosphere was great with a beautiful view of the harbor and wheel. Definitely returning
Had a pizza crust faux pas. Manager fixed it and gave us the mistake pizza which was consumed for bfast in the hotel and warmed up by a hair dryer...
Fiorella is similar to many of the other chains at National Harbor- decent food, average service, very busy at holiday time, and on the pricey side. Our pizzas were good, lasagna was fine although presented in a non traditional way (noodles as a “crust” in a small cast iron pan). The atmosphere is nothing special- large room, TVs by the bar, good for large groups. I would return when in National Harbor again.
We were a party of 6 (4 adults, 2 children). The host initially sat us in the bar area despite the dining area virtually empty. The bar area chairs were more than our little ones could navigate so we asked to be seated in the dining area. From then on, the service and food was seamless. Great pizza, great salads, great meatballs, and yummy rolls. Our server was attentive and fast on the refills.
Our table ordered pizza and chicken parmigian. The pizza was very good. The chicken arrived and looked like a pizza. It was ok,but we each only had a small piece and took the rest home. I am not sure if it was pounded chicken or ground chicken,it is only described as chicken parm on the menu. The restaurant is loud and casual, the service was very good. I would recommend this place for casual dining/not special occasion .
They graciously accepted our reservations For 10 people and when another person joined at the last minute, they rearranged the seating pattern to accommodate us. They presented our 11 year old granddaughter with a special birthday dessert and serenaded her. Food was delicious, staff was courteous and skilled, and our contact - Michael, made this a delightful experience. Highly recommended.
Overall, I was very impressed by Fiorellas. The pizza was flavorful and terrific. Some of the best I have ever had. The service was tremendous. If you are ever in the National Harbor area, this is a place you must visit.
Needed kid friendly place to eat while staying at Gaylord National Harbor. They had really good pizza and the waiter was the best we've had anywhere in years. He was accommodating, friendly and super attentive. Food was good and bill was around $25 for two adults and two kids! Great deal in National Harbor!
Christmas Eve lunch. Good food. Friendly waitress.
Our waitress was excellent. Most of our meal was good. However, my Pizza came out with a bottom and crust that was beyond burnt. It was black as coal...the whole bottom and side. They made me a new one, and it was delicious! The bread is yummy....others in my group likes the meatballs and chicken parmesan...overall, other than the first completely burnt pizza crust, it was a good meal and had good service.
The Sparkling Moscato was really good. Had the Fiorella Salad. Very good. Very filling. Shared a thin crust personal pizza. It was just the right amount of food. Service was great. Answered questions. Checked on us often. Fantastic time.
Amazing food! Excellent pizza! Can't wait to visit again!
Service was not pretty bad.
1) had to ask for our wine glass twice.
2) Received my tab before being done with my meal.
Felt as we were being rush out the restaurant.
The Caesar salad was underdressed and if you opted for anchovies you got a lump on the top. Dining in National Harbor is being part of a captive group. Not a lot of choice and the choice is poor
We had a great experience at this restaurant. We arrived early for our reservation and the host was able to accommodate us. We ordered several pizzas and they were delicious. Our server was very attentive as well. All in all, a really good experience.
We've been here before and loved it...but this go around the food wasn't very good and the service was definitely lacking. Seems like Mgmt may have changed...the little things just weren't as good.
Noise level great for us but keep in mind we were there at 3pm on a Sunday
Great food. Everyone in my party of six loved their meals. My Shrimp Alfredo was excellent! The lasagna is a creative twist on a classic dish and the two who ordered it enjoyed it.
The atmosphere is fun with a view of the observation wheel and waterfront.
Our waitress was excellent.
Outsranding thin crust pizza, wide selection of pizza along with a build your own options.
Seated promptly. Served water and bread promptly. We ordered immediately. Everything after that went downhill. The restaurant was super loud; bad acoustics. The waitress didn’t check back. After 1 hour I flagged down someone since our waitress had done a disappearing act. I noted we hadn’t received our meals and it had been an hour. She said she would check on our orders. We had only ordered one salad, one personal-sized pizza and chicken pasta Alfredo. 70 minutes in two people got their food. I got mine another 10 later as they forgot my pizza.
Salad as noted as being flavorless. Pasta was not with Alfredo sauce, more like butter with something different. Runny, not creamy. Not bad, but not great. My pizza was a disgusting mess. Seemed raw, two ingredients were so sparse as to be almost non-existent. There was zero form to this pizza and no flavor.
Waitress was apologetic, when she had finally dropped food off. Thank goodness for the nice manager. She felt awful and comped our meals. She explained she had new chefs and runners. That seemed apparent as my co-worker pointed out 1/2 way through our wait that ALL the wait staff and some runners were in a big group with tickets waving and in heavy discussion. Apparently they had mixed up orders and/or were remaking them.
Note for restaurant: Things wouldn’t have been as bad had your waitress checked back with us and dropped off an appetizer or offered wine or something during the more than hour wait to take the edge off our hunger. But we were left with our one roll and one glass of water per person for 70 minutes after a long conference day!
It took the server over 20 mins to bring our drinks. From the time we sat down our food came out 45 mins after we sat, and at different times, so some we cold. Our server never checked on us. One of our entrees was entirely wrong because our server wrote down the wrong item. Not staffed right and kitchen was really really slow. The food was good once we all got it, aside from temp. We did not send back as it would probably take too long to refire, nor did we order a 2nd round of drinks due to our initial 20 minute wait. Disappointing to say the least.
We arrived for our reservation and was surprised by the noise level in this small Italian restaurant. A lot of locals and young adults for homecoming were eating there.
We asked to sat outside due to the noise level and that helped.
Our ordered drinks took a very long time to arrive, and a few were forgotten. Bread, olive oil cheese and far after our main entrees.
It seemed that service was overwhelmed.
Overall the food was good.
Would give this restaurant another try if I'm in town again.
