I’ve never felt compelled to leave a restaurant review before but this visit warrants it. For context, we’ve visited this restaurant many times in the past when it was owned by the previous owner and have always enjoyed our experience. We visited there yesterday and to be candid, would never eat there again. All six of us were served mains that were incredibly overcooked. We ordered everything from burgers to ribs to fish to chicken strips. Not a single dish was enjoyable. No one finished their meal. We arrived at about 5:15pm and ordered appetizers. They were average and came fairly quickly. Our mains were ordered before we received our first course and they arrived over an hour later. Despite it being Mother’s Day and a Jets game, the restaurant was busy but not full. About 30 minutes before we received our mains, the restaurant was less than 25% occupied. Drinks were eventually refilled about 40 minutes into waiting for our mains. We had to ask about the eta of our food. While we continued to wait, another table spoke with serving staff and then with who we are assuming was the Manager. They left without ever receiving their food. The Manager quite literally shrugged his shoulders at them. He seemed to just aimlessly wander around the restaurant with no sense of urgency and we didn’t see him support the staff team in any sort of meaningful way while out on the floor. We considered paying for our appetizers and leaving, and was assured by our server that food would be out right away. We did politely let the server know about the quality of the food we were served. He was extremely apologetic and comped us 50% for the mains. It was a nice gesture and we thanked him. Despite this restaurant being one of our favs in the past, we will likely not be back to this location for quite some time. Possible that they just need some time to figure things out. Hopefully the feedback helps improve things.

With a party of 9 I understand things take a little longer if the restaurant is busy. But it was not. Took 30-40 minutes for everyone to get drinks, food all can out in decent time but a few of the meals where wrong or awful. One person got an apple pie instead of shepherds pie, one of the club sandwich’s was to have no cheese (allergy) and it did, the mushroom soup I had with my meal tastes like soda water and was cold( did not eat) the sandwich was remade and came out fairly quick but the shepherds pie did not come until we were ready to leave and everyone had to pay full price and the server and or manager did not compensate for this. Overall it was a poor experience for a place that is usually good.

Worst dining experience. Had to find someone to bring us kids menus. Had to ask for cutlery, napkins, plates. Had to find someone to take drink order about 20 mins after sitting down. No once checked on us to see if we needed anything else. Took over an hour and a half since arriving to gets our meals. Which was mediocre at best. Never going back.

Great, delicious food and fantastic service. The staff was amazing honestly! Very friendly and personable, attentive, and efficient! Hard working and everyone deserves bonuses all around! Atmosphere is relaxing and family friendly, but like the lounge area for some adult friendly fun later on in the evening. Love the Irish connection as well! Small issue with one appetizer arriving at the table and not heated through properly. Was sent back to the kitchen and brought back nice and hot, but our main dishes were ready by then. So ate it all together. Would have been better if the appetizer was served well before the mains of course. We were told the appetizer problem had happened before to other patrons and would be addressed right away. The rest of the meal was amazing- from drinks, meal, and dessert. We'll be back!
