Of particular note is the 40 seat bar which flows from dining room to lounge, floor to ceiling nautical wall, hand painted lobster octopus mural, open style kitchen and built-in raw and sushi bars. In warmer months, the outdoor patio dining along the water is superb, with spots in the shade or the sun to enjoy a libation or light bites. I haven’t been to Finz in a while but it was just as good as I remembered. Our server was very nice but it was loud in there. The outside area wasn’t open as it was rainy and windy which would have been less noisy. I had a Caesar salad to start which was very good but half way thru it they brought the meals. The timing was way too fast. Our server apologized but we felt rushed. I had the tuna for my entree. It was very good and the tuna was seared and seasoned perfectly. Everyone liked their dishes as well. We will be back especially when we can sit outside. Next time I will order an appetizer and wait to order my entree. I would highly recommend Finz if you want good seafood!

Service was very slow, and items ordered like rolls and salad came with the meal when we asked that they come first. Fish was pretty good but skimpy. Veg was poor. View was nice.

First visit to Salem. Read the reviews & booked Finz after a sail on the Fame. Finz did not dissapoint. Ordered one of the specials, stuffed shrimp & my boyfriend loved it. I don't eat seafood & ordered a lemon pasta dish which was outstanding. Will definately recommend Finz.

Definitely a surprise and delight. The entire experience was excellent…from ambience, to food to service. Would definitely be back when we return to Boston/Salem.

Food was great. Atmosphere was great. Service scored less, because the appetizer showed up after I got my food. Our second meal was about 4-5 minutes after my meal showed up. It was the evening sit on Mother’s Day so I’m sure it was probably fatigue of a long day. I will return again when in the area.

The presentation of the crab suffed haddock was excellent. A thin fillet of haddok covered with crab hid a large serving of whipped potatoes and vegetables. The noise level made it hard to share thoughts on the meal.

The food and drinks were wonderful, and the presentation amazing. The seafood paella is always delicious, but this time it was next level. Great job!

Good was absolutely fabulous. We had raw oysters, little clams and chorizo, my husband got stuffed halabit with shrimp and I got blackened salmon. Delicious. 100% recommend
