Finn is our go to dining spot in downtown Missoula. Why? Because the food is always top notch, the service is excellent and the ambiance is outstanding! Small plates or regular menu. Oh, and the view is to die for! This is a can’t miss dining experience.

Food and service were great. The only negative was the noise level. The first 45 minutes a presentation was going on in the lounge. It made it very noisy where we were seated. Even after that presentation ended, the noise level was higher than I’d prefer.

Impressive view of the river and the M trail. Lovely spot for watching sunset ❤️ Oysters were tasty and briny. The ribeye was a must try. Their home made Worcester sauce was the best thing ever.

Our service was subpar .. our waitress disappeared without communication and left us sitting with eaten appi’s and having not ordered our main.. I asked another server & he rudely ask me “well, what, are you in a hurry?!” I was taken aback by that and repeated it to him as another question.. I think he then realized what and how he said it. All they need to do is communicate, that’s it. It’s cheap & easy to do if you have common courtesy.. so, we won’t be back .. too bad, it’s a beautiful spot!

3 of the 4 of us had the halibut. It was amazing! My sister was here visiting; she lived in Alaska for 10 years and has been living in Oregon for the past 5 years, she stated that it was the best halibut she's had since leaving Alaska!

We were seated next to a window, which made for an enjoyable experience watching folks fly-fishing in the river. However it was a cool day and the AC was a little strong for my liking. Other than being cold inside, the food was prepared excellent!

Our server was absolutely horrible. Rude, condescending, defensive when we asked for a salad that he forgot, not friendly and clearly in the wrong “profession”. Host was also rude and not helpful. Salad was brown and overpriced even at happy hour prices. This is not the first time the service and food was subpar for us. We will never come back.

The crab artichoke dip was ALL cream cheese and very disappointing. Ceasar salad was so so. I’ve had some great dinners at the Finn but this one did not live up to their standards. The music was also too loud. Service was good.
