A great place for a quiet meal. They serve a wonderful brunch. Their staff is friendly. Their attention to detail is perfect and the food is amazing! I can't wait to go back.
Celebrating my husband’s new job and decided to try somewhere new. I picked Finca because it was recommended by open table after I tried to make a reservation at Eva and none were available. It is a cute little place so I was hopeful of a great meal. The service was okay. Our waitress was nice and willing to give recommendations. The food started coming and it was okay, but nothing to write home about. Our main course came and I had ordered the duck. It was majorly over cooked and the sauce and succotash were pretty bland. The best part of the meal was the wine.
Very good service, good food and lots of tapas options. Would have been 5 stars on the review for food, but a couple of things we ordered were just OK. Nothing bad at all, just a few average items on the menu, but overall the service and noise levels and atmosphere here are always awesome.
Wonderful place to enjoy some tapas with friends
We went for Easter Brunch. The beverages (not cocktails) were not included in the $39 price. Our bill for 4 was $240 after tip. It was noted anywhere, including the drink menu, that ALL beverages were an additional charge. For a $39 brunch, they should have been included. The good was good, just wish every thing would have been marked better and the sauces labeled for the dish they were for, example, I got the veggie paella and there was a white creamy sauce next to it. It was a minty sauce meant for the lamb but was marked or labeled for it. It was a great sauce but not tasty with the paella. I thought it was a sour cream sauce which would have been good. The atmosphere was lovely, the company was lovely, and the food was good.
We had Easter Brunch and it was fantastic!!
I enjoy Finca but was not impressed with the Easter brunch. The price was steep for the basic food options and the service was ok at best. The staff positioned by the food stood off and were having their own conversation ignoring the questions of the woman behind me in line. My friend asked for ketchup at the beginning of our meal and the server never came back. I had to flag someone down to get a coffee and was not asked if I wanted a refill. The 20% auto gratuity was way more than was deserved.
Best in the coty
Our service was so bad it was embarrassing. It was a Thursday night. Nobody was there, 3 other tables, maybe. Food service was slow. Our server never came to our table. Tapas is order as you go but that’s hard to do if no one serves you. Sad because I really was excited about this restaurant. Major disappointment.
The menu is delicious and creative and everything we shared was fabulous.
Apps were great and the paella was perfect! Good spot for a date night
The food was excellent. The staff was very knowledgeable about all the tiems. Would definitely come back to try different dishes.
Food was as expected and delicious but our waiter was non existent.
I am a head concierge from Park City that dines in SLC often. I also recommend places for our guests. Finca was a favorite of ours but we had not been in a year and a half. We were dining with a friend that had never been there and the experience was just as amazing as it used to be. Sometimes, quality dies after a few years but Finca is still producing a fabulous menu, wonderful hand-crafted cocktails and a fabulous ambiance. Highly recommended by this 5 star hospitality foodie!
We had a wonderful meal. Liberty was our waitress and she did a fabulous job. Food was delicious, sangria was so good!
Food and service were exceptional. Wish they would specify that the cheeks are fried. Otherwise we were very happy with the experience.
Delicious tapas and a great ambiance. Would definitely return again!
We went to watch the symphony. Loved it but do wish the noise level was a little lower when they were playing. Fun night
Always a great option for small tapas. I love the ambience as it isn’t too loud and obnoxious. Food was good tonight, not memorable.
Magnífico. Paul, my server was attentive and helpful. The food was great. The octopus was out of this world! The pancetta was unbelievable. The charcutería was delicious. Their only flaw was the sangría as I do not think was as good as the food or the service. Need to work a bit on the dessert selection. I would be back without hesitation if I am ever back in Salt Lake City.
Nice evening thanks to finca. Seemed like a crazy evening, but manager Sarah and team handled it with grace and ease. Felt slightly out of place bringing our kids, but the team made us feel completely comfortable and catered to our needs. Now the food. Started with dates and papas fritas pretty good . Husband had ribeye and I the coco carne? Both very nice the ribeye was a perfect medrare and the quality of the meat was top notch. I enjoyed the accompanying veggies in sauce. My coco carne was flavorful - meat slightly dry but still good. perfect size as I has a big lunch and wanted to try some drinks. The seasonal sling was perfect, and the house made sangerias were lovely. White was fresh and bright, while red was smooth with a hint of cinnamon. Desserts were the bite size shortbread cookie and Brownie. Cookie was fantastic and husband loved brownie. ( a but too rich and sweet for my pallet) . Overall nice meal, customer service was phenomenal.
Always a favorite. Small plates are delicious as we're the Halibut cheeks.
Wonderful flavor combinations, great for a light meal. Lots of choices. Good wine pairing available.
Good service. Good food. Good wine selection. I would definitely go back.
Authentic tapas bar with good selection and Spanish wines by the glass or bottle. Took a few minutes to find a server, but after that smooth sailing.
My husband and I had a wonderful Valentine's Day at Finca. The manager Sarah was very accomodating and attentive and made us feel very special.
When they called to confirm the reservation, no one told me it was a set menu. The things we wanted to come in and eat were not available.
Upon checking in, the manager/hostess was very short and rude. The service was horrible. Everything we asked about the menu, the server did not know the answers. Upon delivering the food, it was always to the wrong person.
The biggest complaint is the fact that we had no idea that it was a limited menu, and the options that were given were not worth the $65, and were very sub par. The food, was not worth what they charged. The dessert was a small brownie with 2 raspberries... really??? I feel like I threw my money down the drain.
Then to top it all off, they charged a gratuity of 20% for four people I did not tell us about it, and tried to hide it in hopes that we would just leave a normal tip on top of that which would have resulted in a 40% tip.
When we were leaving, the three hostesses upfront did not even recognize us as we walked out, did not even think is for dining, and just kept talking about other guests that they had negative experiences with.
We have dined at this restaurant before, last year, and it was amazing. Upon our experience on Valentine’s Day, we will never be back. We were embarrassed to have suggested this to our friends, and feel like we wasted a Valentines dinner at this establishment.
It was alright. Valentine's menu way pricey for what we got... Only one of us did the wine pairing, the cider was awful, the rest of the wines were very good... Over $200 for 2 people... And no coffee
The ambiance at Finca was wonderful. Great for business meeting, date or anything in between.
My boyfriend and I had such a great evening here. Service was great- wine was outstanding ( a&m by the glass) and the tapas were delicious! We will make this a ritual every year and dine here again and again!
Very disappointed! After reading all the good reviews, I have to say that we both had high expectations from this restaurant. As we were great by the hostess, we were asked for our IDs (that to my surprise got scanned, have to mention the we are both over 35). There was a big party in the restaurant, so we thought that it must be a great place. For a 7pm dinner the ambiance was terrible, it felt like we were having lunch. We ordered our drinks, we both had a glass with cava, than few different appetizers. We only got to taste them, to know that it had nothing to do with Spanish flavors ( we both go to Spain regularly, so I find it fare to say that we know Spain food pretty well). We ordered 5 different dishes and nothing stand out, also, the octopus was bitter and tasted funny.
We decided to skip entree and went back to the hotel for dessert and more drinks.
The place might be ok for lunch, but definitely not a dinner destination for a couple looking to enjoy a night out...:((
Met up with friends on a Saturday night. The booth was cozy and we stayed for three hours chatting. The food was great, we ordered 7 or 8 small plates to share. I was a little sad that the churros were not as delicious as I remembered. Other than that, it was fantastic.
Food is very good. Not necessarily memorable, but consistently good! We really love the ambience of Finca...a place you can relax and stay awhile. Be sure to try the churros.
Had a great experience , Paul our server was awesome. Sarah the manager is a fantastic host! I will be back with friends!
Fundamentally gritty dirty-if you look carefully it was a skim renovation and the underlying fetidness is coming through, can’t imagine what it’s like when the lights come on at the end of the evening.
The food was under seasoned except for one item-forget which-had a salt shaker dropped on it.
This place was recommended to us by my daughter and her husband. They went there with a group of friends. I was very disappointed and underwhelmed by the food selections we had. The carrots had come highly recommended and they were probably the worst thing we had that evening. They were unrecognizable as carrots. They were dark, too lemony and not cooked but actually crunchy. The halibut was probably the best thing we had. The $37.00 rice dish with the tiny chicken leg on meat had a good flavor but for the money was small and very little meat. We decided to pass on the dessert because at this point nothing except the halibut had been worth the time and money. I will probably not be returning to the place even though the atmosphere and the waitress were very nice.
We had an awesome time and loved our server. She was very knowlegable about the menu and fun!
Our waiter was rude and rushed. We had a birthday celebration and told both the hostess and our waiter that we wanted a dessert to sing her happy birthday. That did not happen. Disappointed.
Finca had been recommended to us by several different friends and we’re glad we went. We enjoyed the ambience and the chance to have quiet conversation before going to a Jazz game. Our server gave us some good suggestions and told us about the family style of sharing food which Finca does. We had Gambos Al Ajio, Coquetes De Puerto, Setas and a dish that had brussel sprouts. The Setas were a bit too vinegary to eat all of it. The other food we had was delicious.
We were visiting from out of town and met friends at Finca for dinner. The tapas/small plates were so delicious and they had a great variety of offerings to choose from. We also had the Sangria, which was delicious. The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and didn't rush us through the meal. We'll definitely go back again.
