Great BYOB. Love the small plates menu. We have been to Finca multiple times and are very happy with our food every time. Great place for friends and for date night.
I really like this place, the only complaint i would have is it doesn't matter if you have a reservation you're always going to have to wait to be seated. On a cold night having to stand outside could be very annoying.
Small plates because it’s a tapas style restaurant which allows you to taste many things which is the highlight of the restaurant. Noisy place so good for large groups, girls/boys night out - not good for romantic dinners. Families are welcome there, suggest you make reservations for Fri- Sat as it gets crowded because place is popular. Only one problem is wife asked for well done on her Finca burger, came out medium ( red center) but overall the rest of the food was excellent.
Overpriced for very small mediocre food . Would not go there again .
1. Even though we had a reservation, we had to wait 20 mins to get a table
2. We didn’t get one of the dishes we ordered, however we were charged for it
A very nice selection of tapas. Really liked the short rib quesadilla and the grilled avocado! Good service on a fairly busy night.
Large Group - BYOB, great experience, wide ranging menu options.
Good food creatively cute. Safee
Always consistently delicious and very accommodating.
I have been to Finca 5+ times and it never disappoints. The skirt steak and the octopus are my favorite. The staff is always pleasant and friendly. I would recommend ordering a few things at a time instead of all at once because the food comes out fast and then you may feel a little overwhelmed.
We are frequent diners at Finca and generally enjoy our meal & experience there. However, this was absolutely the worst service we’ve had at any restaurant. After being seated we waited at least 20 minutes before the host came to ask if all was OK and when he realized we hadn’t been served he took our initial order for tapas. The food was good as usual. We finished our first round of tapas and then sat and waited another 20-30 minutes before someone else came to see if we needed anything. The one thing that did come within one minute was the bill. It will be a good long while before we go back.
Interesting place with lots of choices .. can build the final bill high quickly though.
Tapas were not great.
The food came all at once and everything was cold even though we were told each dish would come when ready.
Lackluster in terms of flavor and service.
Would not recommend.
Incredible food - we were all so impressed with the meals but you don’t get enough food for the prices they charge.
The best!!! Perfect quantities, great taste, friendly service, reasonable price!
Went there with friends for a girls' night out & had another amazing meal. We each ordered 2 items and shared, then ordered more, and MORE, it was all so good! Short ribs with mashed potatoes, as well as the beet salad are so delicious. The pitchers of sangria were flowing, and the best part was that when the bill came, we were shocked at how relatively inexpensive it was!
Under staffed but our server was able to keep up
The food here is quite good, but the last time we were there the service was terrible. It took 40 minutes to get the check and no one cleared the table. The table next to us waited nearly an hour for their food. We think our waiter quit during our meal because he totally disappeared. We had to wave down another waitress to get the check and she had no idea what happened to our waiter. We've been here many times and this was out of character, but the service was really REALLY bad. 1-star is generous.
Excellent tapas menu, attentive service and high quality food. A pretty noisy environment, so be prepared. Patio is lovely. Would return again.
Birthday dinner for two, sat outside (next to fairly busy street, but otherwise nice ambience). Not our first time, and we’ve tried (and loved) most of the menu. (It’s kind of comfort-food tapas, vs more traditional Spanish style at their sister restaurant, Cravings.) Hadn’t tried the gnocchi w/lamb ragout prior, so it stood out—but everything was great. Like most Ridgewood restaurants, it’s BYOB with no corking fee, another plus.
Had a seat outside on a beautiful Friday night, but the amount of bus traffic that cruises by kills the atmosphere and greatly increases the noise level. Unfortunately not much Finca can do about it
This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The food is delicious and the service is amazing
I would recommend this restaurant to a friend but feel they could do some smoothing out of their service. We were first seated at a two person table very close to the couple next to us, so we moved our table away from them a bit. Then, a server came up and asked us if we would move to another table because they were expecting a party. The party did not arrive until we were finished with our meal. During dinner, people came to take our finished plates without so much as saying "are you finished" or even uttering a word to us, just kind of taking it away.
Excellent food, love the small plates so I can try different things. Recommend the zeppoli tree for a fun and tasty dessert!
Food was awesome but some of the portions were small, even for tapas, and not priced appropriately. Especially the corn.
My wife and I sat outside and soaked in the hustle and bustle of this cool town. Traffic, trains and fun people watching whilst enjoying the perfectly prepared food that was brought to us in a timely manner by our very polite and professional server Kenner (sorry if I misspelled).
Everything we put in our pie holes was amazing. Kudos.
We’ll be back.
Great place. The food was so so good. This was my first time there. Love the option of little plates so you can try a lot of different things. The Shrimp empanada was to die for. We sat outside and I will tell you the noise level inside was HIGH. I would have been very unhappy had we sat indoors. Was pleasantly surprised when the bill came and it was $57 for 2 of us!
Fresh and delicious food! Definitely more of a special event kind of place because of the high prices but really impressive!
We have loved coming to Finca in the past. Great place to get a variety of little bites. Last couple of times we have had mediocre, tasteless food. Our usual go to dish - crab meat in avocado tasted like they just doused the meat in lime juice, crab meat wasn’t lump like it used to be and avocado had spoiled spots. Our grilled octopus had no char to it and was slightly under cooked. The chimchurri on the skirt steak needed salt as did the fried. Our server took forever to come over and paid little attention to us. Last complaint is that there is no rhyme or reason to the order of the tapas they bring out. We used to be able to overlook this when the food was exceptional but not anymore. Disappointed and will likely not go back. Too bad because they have interesting decor and outdoor seating and allow BYOB.
The food and service is fabulous!
Just a little too loud inside. Needs some noise insulation.
Reservation means nothing when they are busy. Hostess is dumb as a door nail. Hostess actually said she didn’t know what to do since we had a reservation and customers kept on coming and I simply responded by simply not putting our name on bottom of walk in list and she stated I don’t think I can do that. Manager then came and we were sat down. Food is so so. I can’t imagine anyone saying the food is good. Warm water was served. This place is simply location location location. If this place was elsewhere it would be dead. And by the way there’s nothing of real Spanish cuisine here. STAY AWAY
Food was just ok. Service was horrific. Took several attempts for just about everything. Servers brought us the wrong food not once, not twice, but at least three times. Had to ask for water several times. When the bill came (which we had to chase down and finally had to flag down the “boss” at the front desk) it took three separate attempts.to get the right bill (we kept getting other tables’ bills). We should have said nothing and paid the first one, as it was far less than what we owed. The second one was also lower, and not ours. The third one was ours, but did not include the bottle of wine we ordered. At this point we’d been waiting at least 20 minutes to pay the bill! So we paid it, left a small tip (our waitress was terrible and the servers were even worse). Between the noise level and the service, I can safely say that was our first and last experience there. Very disappointed and frustrated.
A bit slow but very busy with outside tables. A bit noisy by the road with traffic but music was great
Used to be way better, service has gone down hill. Now they are in such a rush to turn over tables, food all comes out together which makes for a quick unenjoyable Tapas Dining experience.
Love the fact i get to try so many different dishes. Very comfortable atmosphere and everyone very friendly
Absolutely too many fruit flies!
Finca is a very nice every day any time stop for a nice meal . The service is excellent and the atmosphere too. Marchelo the owner is always around to make sure all is well.
Best to make a reservation.
A great place to enjoy tapas. Delicious food and energetic vibe.
Went to dinner with another couple and once again, had a fantastic meal. Everyone left STUFFED and talking about how delicious everything was. Short ribs with potatoes and sweet mexican corn were ordered twice, they were so good. Other favorites were the chorizo with potatoes, beet & goat cheese salad and the empanadas. And to top it off, we brought our own wine so we were able to have huge pitchers of sangria with our meal. The bill was a fraction of what we're used to spending at restaurants that don't even compare. Incredible value!
Great service and food. Highly recommend
