   I had this reservation booked and even updated it for size. Not once did I get notification this restaurant was closed. A sign inside the door the day of said they were closed till 5/1 for training. My reservation was for 5/11! Thankfully we were able to find somewhere else but no notice, no social media postings, nothing. Glad I adjusted my party size but super disappointed in the lack of communication especially 10 days past when they said they were going to open.

   Felt like being in a French cafe. Started with a 3-cheese board. The fruit compote was a perfect pairing with the unique cheese flavors. The buttered French bread rounds were warm and delicious. Had a perfectly cooked pork chop, and the polenta base was cheesy and flavorful, almost too rich in a good way. The burger was flavorful, and fresh shaved parm was woven throughout. The only miss was my request for a well-done burger came out very pink in the middle. That aside, I would highly recommend this restaurant for a quaint date or spending time with friends.

   Have patronized Financier myriad times. Always a fantastic experience until this past visit. Service was substandard, food ok, and was advised only five items available on the menu along with four on the brunch menu. Several patrons departed the restaurant upon hearing the limited menu.

   Not our best experience. Food was good, but it took an extremely long time to be served. 2.5 hours for lunch. I hope they get their kitchen working better bc the idea of an upscale French bistro is a nice addition on park ave.

   Our party of five was delighted with Financier's selection of French wines. Chèvre Chaud (fried goat cheese) Salad was wonderful. Steak Frites with truffle oil fries were magnificent.
