Service was great. Oysters came out after appetizers and then the entree came out two minutes after that. Entree was over cooked and over salted.
Brian and his team always make every meal an excellent one! The service is truly the best around and the food is out of this world! This is my favorite restaurant for a reason.
We had a great evening at Fin. Started with Mediterranean salad, mussels in guiness, oysters, lobster sliders, and tuna tartare apps. All were delicious.
Amazing main courses of 7 spiced tuna with soba noodles, strip steak with fries, and swordfish special with mashed potatoes and asparagus were perfectly cooked.
We finished the evening with creme brulee, key lime pie and chocolate lava cake. It was hard to decide which we liked best.
Waiter Doug was attentive, as was the assisting staff. Food timing was such that we were able to enjoy conversation and not feel rushed.
Great Place / only disappointment was that during the week they don't make sushi rolls like they do on the weekend. Understandable, but I did not know that before I went.
Always great food. Staff very friendly and they really work hard. Highly recommend if you like fish and my niece loves their steak!
Great experience! Food was delicious!
Had an inside table. Aisle next to table was very busy with staff waiting on inside and outside tables. Too much busy traffic.
From start to finish everything was great. Appetizers were all good. Grilled octopus. Sushi Roll - Top rated. Fried Calamari. Dinners great taste and portions. Fried rice on point. Desserts all home made all great.
Everything was wonderful. Food was perfectly cooked every coarse was well spiced and beautifully presented. We will go back often.
Very good food and service.
We love the food and staff. Great food
This was my first time at Fin and it will certainly be my last. We were a party of five and not a single person really enjoyed their meal. We were not impressed with the service either... Overall, a very disappointing experience!
No less than 10-12 flies circling our table. gross.
Everything is very good and the personality and energy of management and staff is excellent.
Great overall experience
Nice but not great
Decent experience. Restaurant seems somewhat neglected. Table had some foam hanging from the bottom hitting my leg, plant but the window had dirt all around it sitting on what looks like a decaying stand…etc. Waiter couldn’t be nicer. Food was decent but nothing to write home about.
Waitress Maria was terrific! She was the best part. Very knowledgeable and friendly. However, felt rushed by how quickly the food came out. Quality of the food has gone down tremendously. Very sad. Limited oyster selection, Risotto wasn’t cooked well. Price not worth it.
A lot of specials. Very competent waiters. Fast service
Overall experience was great. Was greeted with a friendly smile immediately , wine delivery was quick (as promised) and our waitress showed the perfect amount of attentiveness.
Great food and service
Fin in Summit is consistently good food and service. Mediterranean Salad was fresh and delicious. Scallops were cooked perfectly. Tuna was very good with soba noodles.
Great dinner. The tuna tartar was fresh and delicious as were the wood fired scallops. The waiter was attentive but never hovered. Great place to go.
It was great! Loved everything we got :)
Service was great, menu had a wide selection, food came out on time and waiters were pleasant and attentive.
We ate outdoors where seating was plentiful. Despite being nearly furthest from the restaurant and concerned that it would impact service, it didn’t. Our waiter complied with our request to keep a pitcher of ice water on the table and refilled it twice. Food was served hot and was delicious. We had PEI mussels, calamari, and tuna sushi for apps and Scottish salmon, Orange roughy, pacific cod, and the penne with shrimp in vodka sauce. All were excellent. For dessert we shared the chocolate lava cake (YUM!). We were so impressed that we asked to speak with the manager/owner, Brian, to laud their efforts.
The food was fantastic.
Tables were well spaced out of doors. Lighting/ambiance was great as sun set. Appreciated seamless relationship w/liquor stores in the area.
Outdoor space is terrific!
Town of Summit has turned Maple Street into
a dining plaza. The street ( on both sides of Springfield Ave) is closed to traffic and tented tables are set up in the street and the space is shared with several restaurants.
A great idea and almost feels like dining in a piazza in Italy!
As for Fin, food was delicious and we had an excellent server.
A winner, especially now that outdoor dining is again in demand with the unfortunate uptick of Covid.
Food is always excellent and service was perfect!
The restaurant was great! The service was on point and more importantly the owner makes it a point to get to know his customers a lot of people seemed like regulars but even if you were a first timer he spent a lot of time making sure you were happy and getting to know the people. Food was great we loved everything we had
The food was fantastic. Everything we ordered was great. We ordered all seafood dishes and they were all fresh. Can’t say enough great thing about this restaurant.
Always a fantastic experience at Fin! Brian and his team always serve up an amazing meal and ambiance
Nice place, but our entrees tasted bland. I've eaten at a few places in Summit and there's a theme - these places seem scared of bold flavor. The food presentation is lovely, but the taste experience leaves a lot to be desired. The service at this restaurant was pretty good, again presentation lovely, but they have to work on increasing flavor in their dishes.
After the bill came the manager tried to convince us that the listed price on the menu for salad was in error and that we should pay $15 more. All the salads were the same price. So I guess every said was misstated. She came back several times to argue her point. The price was on the updated QR code menu. Never felt so abused. Will never return.
First time and plan to go back. Food was delicious and our server Gaby was exceptional.
Ate outdoors under tent set up on a closed Maple Street to allow for local restaurants to expand dining areas. This was awesome since Summit has live music around town on Thursdays and Fridays in the evening, so we were able to hear a blues band performing nearby. Our food server was attentive, pleasant and made good suggestions. Our table of 4 had the mussels special and a crab cocktail special as apps. Both were delicious. 2 of us had the salmon special as a main course, 1 wood fired branzino and 1 fish and chips. Everyone enjoyed the meal. We ordered one key lime pie to split which had mixed reviews. If you prefer a sweeter pie, you’ll like it; however, if you enjoy a more tart key lime pie if likely will not be your cup of tea. Fin is a BYOB restaurant. Usually that keeps costs down. Our check was around $200 before gratuity, which we felt was just a bit high.
Burratta appetizer was delicious. Enough for 2 to share. Orange Roughy with macadamia was cooked perfectly . Faroe Salmon was excellent. Shared a key Lime pie and it was very fresh and light.
Great experience! We love food, environment, everything was great.
