Wonderful food, terrific service and convenient. We stayed as guests at the Hotel and it was so nice to go right up to relax after a long day of walking.
We celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary! Food was fabulous! Loved everything about the restaurant and the hotel! Definitely coming back!
Thank you for the great dining experience to the chef for the most delicious meal and to super friendly waitresses and manager for the good service.
This restaurant is on my favorite list now. :)
Best salmon I have had . Manager and staff talked to me about their spring menu. Chef is outstanding.
We went for Easter Brunch and it was amazing from food to service!! Would highly recommend!! Thanks foe a great experience!!
The service was as one would expect at a 5 star hotel restaurant. Just exceptional. The food was fresh and delicious. I would return in a heart beat despite all the other restaurants in Boston.
Poor menu selection
The food is amazing, the wait staff is super nice, but whoever is managing that restaurant needs to get a new profession. Our waiter was THE bartender, so the poor girl was forced to wait on multiple tables while manning a full bar and most drink orders. The space between the wait staff and the cooks must also be vast because oysters took 1 hour to get! almost everything kept being sold out on the menu and we would only find out 30 minutes after we ordered, so we kept having to reorder... twice. The biggest caveat is that the food was amazing!? The oysters were really good, the roasted chicken was excellent, extremely well-cooked, I was in awe. My family also had the steak frites, which they said was delicious. We also had the scallops -- that quickly disappeared from the plate, also an amazing dish. Overall, don't go when it's busy because you'll be hungry for 2 hours but once you do get the food, it won't disappoint.
The menu is very limited but the scallops were good. My boyfriends steak was VERY salty however. The service was very slow to the point where she apologized multiple times.
Food is good the annoying part is half the menu on the main entrees weren’t available when we ordered at 630 pm on a Saturday! Staff was overwhelmed clearly understaffed. The manager was the worst part. When the orders came out, 1
Of the orders was not properly cooked as ordered he made up for the mistake by giving up a bowl of soup to not keep the other guests on waiting to start to eat. A couple of minutes or 3 later the manager walks in with the revised order walks up to the table
And grabs the comped soup sets the corrected order down and doesn’t say a word and walks away!WTF? Reilly? The whole time Peter was there he was more worried about his text messages...
The food was delicious!
Didn’t know there was an outdoor patio. Very cool. Great flowers and amazing spring rolls. Has a great date, definitely recommend this spot. Ended up finishing the night next door. Broad street was cool
The secret is out. Fin Point is open and really back. Busy as ever tonight. Didn’t even know they were back open and with $1 oyster specials all week. Great wine and bourbon selection, and the manager is still ensuring the good times and classy feels. 2021!!
My first visit to Fin Point and not my last. Started with cocktails that were made to our liking and Duxbury oysters. Delicious!
We both had the scallops with risotto, edible sage, and a bacon sauce. FABULOLUS!!
This place has terribly slow service. Took nearly 90 minutes to have one appetizer and two entrees, and we had to go out of our way to find the manager to get both our meal brought to us and our check.
Discovered this place recently and came back and it was super busy. Admittedly service was a little slow and the manager (who was bussing tables and making drinks) chatted with me enthused at the return of business, but lamented how challenging it is to keep up after being closed for so long. I love this place so I’ll stick with them as they re-staff. Waiting for my meal isn’t a big deal to me when I’m out to relax and enjoy. Best of luck to the Fin Point crew, you got this!
Delicious. Everything was phenomenal. Service left some to be desired.
Downtown Boston is opening back up. Glad to see these guys are still doing what they do. Love my Fin Point nights!
Tried the oysters, it was really good!
Great restaurant, great staff, excellent food and super elegant vibes. Will be back.
The food was great, they have $1 oysters form 2-6 pm during the week.
A great deal.
I was supposed to get $1 oysters, they charged me $4 each. I order a salad with chicken. It is the worse chicken I ever had in a restaurant. Dry and overcooked. Salad was supposed to have edamame but had none.
Was staying in the hotel- not much going on around the area so we decided to grab some quick drinks before heading out for the night but ended up enjoying the spot so much that we stayed for the night. Honestly this and the coffee shop are the only things decent about the hotel.
Apps were excellent we had a flat bread pizza too. Also had the raviolo was a unique experience that I suggest everyone try. Way better than expected. Wish I could have tried more things on the menu but I was stuffed. After having tried 3 apps and 3 courses between the two of us.
Their bar is stocked with gems- mostly had vodka sodas but tried a couple of different scotches abs whiskey.
Exceptional meal and service. Really happy to in such a warm and inviting atmosphere given the weather and the world. The Maître d’ was welcoming and accommodating and never let me drink go empty. The steak frites is out of this world. Great playlist too!
If you’re going to have a special Valentine’s Day menu, please post about it online or share the menu with open table. As someone with a food allergy, to find out that there’s really only one option for dinner was obviously
Management did nothing to remedy an uncomfortable and unfortunate situation.
Always a great time at Fin Point.
Food was outstanding. Drinks were great, but a little small, especially for the price. Service was good, slightly more attentive and it would be excellent.
Oysters deal is incredible, will absolutely be back.
Appetizers were excellent, entrees were great, no complaints. Definitely a must-go-to restaurant. Very well done!
Great food and great services. Would definitely return.
Celebrated a milestone birthday at Fin Point and everything was exceptional. Oysters were fresh and came with delicious sauces, steak frites was perfectly cooked and the short bread dessert was delicious. A little louder than we normally like but we haven’t been out in a while!
Enjoyed the oyster special as well as appetizers and entree that we share. Quality of the food is very good and highly consistent. Location is convenient to downtown and we enjoy eating at Fin Point regularly.
A few things that can be improved, we talked to the manager, overall very good experience.
My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary. Everything was perfect as always, food, service, atmosphere. Couldn’t have asked for a better place. Everyone was so sweet . Definitely coming back soon
Diner and service was amazing! It was my birthday and they served me an amazing desert for no extra charge. Space was good and didn’t feel packed, felt safe with covid restrictions being followed!
Wait Staff was accommodating.
Service was great.
Food is overpriced. Not the place to be if your spending one night in Boston.
Ambience is nice.
The best service! Highly recommend. A wonderful experience. I will be back!
Great waitress. It was warm and cozy and not too loud when we were dining. They were out of my entree, but waitress accommodated changes and made dining experience very nice. Oysters were delicious.
Very convenient within the financial district. Nice venue, great service, great food, but a bit pricy for lunch, and a bit too loud for quiet conversation or a larger table.
My husband and I decided to try this place out because saw razor clam pics on YELP. However, this dish was retired and not on their current menu. We always try to stay away from local oysters because of the brininess however we took the plunge that night. Surprisingly, the oysters were sweet and fresh, not fishy at all. Atmosphere was serene and upscale. We dined on a Monday night. A bit quiet but I can see that this place has potential to be crazy on Fridays and Weekends. Service was attentive and friendly, not overbearing. We even got a complimentary dessert for my birthday. Thank you! I will definitely be back here to try their ever changing seasonal menus.
Excellent food, great service, cool ambiance.
We had a nice time. The food and service were good (per usual).
