Great seafood restaurant, bar & lounge that is attched to the Hilton Faneuil in the Financial district.
Delicious food and excellent service!!
Great service, attentive but not overbearing. Oysters expensive but worth it. Chicken dish is one of the best preparations I have had. Swordfish also very good. No complaints!
The service was great and the food was pretty good
I was one guy at the bar and they screwed up my entire meal from start to finish over a two hour period. Completely unacceptable, and I wanted it to be good so bad, cause i was stuck in Boston for the night. The beer on tap was good though.
Great food and service. Will definitely return when I am in town again.
The food was wonderful, starting with this little beet salad that was just amazing. I had the salmon which was also excellent. It was just a little overpriced in my opinion. Everything was al a carte, like the beet salad was $17 and my husbands bowl of clam chowder was $12.
And then we also didn’t appreciate being sat all the way in the back corner of the restaurant, on a little 2 top, next to the fire hydrant when the place was barely half full! We just got up and reseated ourselves.
Food was absolutely delicious. From the Clam Chowder (which we compared favorably to our favorite eatery in San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf) to the Steak Spring Rolls appetizer, as well as the main courses of Salmon and also Shrimp dinners, all tasted fantastic! I will mention that their online menu is quite different from the menu we ordered from in the restaurant. Also, while OpenTable displays the price as "$$" I thought it was closer to "$$$" at $127 for the three of us (though we only had two entreés). So, while the food was excellent, it would have to be a special occasion for me to return, but that's my preference for dining expense.
Delicious lunch and lively atmosphere - almost a bit too loud at times (we were in the center of the room). Gracious service - despite running late, they held our table for us. An enjoyable venue for a business lunch.
Amazing corn appetizers!!
Excellent seafood!! The Raw Bar was our favorite. Fast service and nice ambiance. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Excellent service all around.
Amazing dinner with great ambiance.
The place is very nice, the service is great. Food is delicious
Amazing food, service and ambiance. A hidden gem in Boston. We loved it.
An above average hotel restaurant. Food and cocktails were well crafted, ingredients were fresh, chef technique was good but not exceptional, a bit high priced, satisfying portions, attentive service. Bathrooms were an unclean malodorous disaster.
Food was delicious and our server was excellent; attentive but knew when to leave us be! Of course, it's Boston prices, but we had a great meal and a nice time!
On a recent trip to Boston we decided to try this restaurant. It was WONDERFUL! The food was delicious and the service was perfect. I left a generous gratuity to reflect the excellent service and the server went out of his way to personally thank me for the gratuity, which was very nice. :) I highly recommend the restaurant!
Really good food, service was slow but think we got caught in a shift change.
Great overall dining experience.
My boyfriend and I came to Boston to celebrate our anniversary and chose Fin Point for dinner- wow am I so happy we did! While making my reservation I stated that we were celebrating an anniversary. After being seated, the manager gave us complimentary champagne for our anniversary! We were shocked and so happy! That kicked off what would be a great dinner. For appetizers we tried the spring rolls & octopus- both good! For dinner, my boyfriend had the linguine & clams, while I had the shrimp risotto. Both of our dinners were phenomenal! Chocolate mousse was had for dessert and it was great too. The food was truly delicious. Our server Luis, was great! He was busy, yet always made sure we were doing okay and everything was good. Luis even offered to take our picture before we left (even though he had a large party)! We have had a lot of servers, and he was one of the best. The manager was also great, always making sure that we were enjoying everything. I felt well taken care of and that they truly cared about our experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Between the staff and the food, it was a great anniversary dinner- honestly the best we’ve ever had! If we’re ever in Boston again, we will back!
Great hidden gem at our hotel. Service was a bit slow and the place is somewhat small. Our table was along a row of bench seats so we were rather close to the large party next to us and took away from the ambiance but the excellent food made up for it. It was also our anniversary and our water came over with a couple of glasses of champagne for us on the house.
Organized a corporate breakfast here. The space is nice and staff friendly but I wouldn’t bother. The food was very basic and just ok. Some came out cold and not at the same time and there were not many others there. Not with it for the price.
We were greeted promptly and courteously and seated quickly. The food was outstanding. Two of us ordered the Lobster Cobb salad. It was presented beautifully and unlike many lobster salads this one was tender with excellent creamy tarragon dressing. Lunchtime was loud but not offensively so. Decor is modern, tables are spaced well. It is inside the Hilton on Broad Street. Everyone enjoyed it and we will definitely be back.
Delicious food but small servings size. I loved the deco of the restaurant.
Very very good food - don't hesitate any second to seat here
Price remains a little bit high for a standard dinner
A great place for a team dinner. The staff was incredibly accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed through out the night. The food was fantastic. Will definitely be back!
Great food, OMG the seafood is amazing. Service was awesome!
Great service, high quality food, but the acoustic can be very loud. Tough to have a conversation.
One of the best meals I have ate. Service was outstanding. We had a red wine with our appetizer which was not up to par. The sommelier opened another bottle which was fantastic. Will definitely be back on our next visit to Boston.
Really great brunch we had. Staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely will recommend
Food mediocre, not worth the price. Nice waitress, but slow service.
Got 2 orders of the $22 Wagyu egg rolls and they were in no way worth the price. Barely had any filling and the onion rings on top were WAY over salted. Also they were long and skinny like 7/11 taquitos but even those had more flavor. Everyone who ordered a burger had theirs way over cooked.
we were in boston on a weekend getaway and found this restaurant on yelp. we decided to try it based on reviews and location. we weren't disappointed. staff was very friendly and attentive. i chose the filet and my husband had the chowder and linguini with clam sauce, everything was a good size portion and tasted great. i did look online at the menu and it varied somewhat from what was on the menu we received- just something to be aware of in case you were set on one specific item. overall, i'd definitely recommend giving fin point a try!
Nice place, good menu, food was ok, service was slow and inexperienced. Not a place for us as locals to return.
It was a beautiful ambiance restaurant. I was traveling in Boston and wanted to have a good seafood meal. Good food & service.
Great clam chowder.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Boston. The atmosphere is great. You can sit at the bar, at a table, or in a cozy corner and have completely different experiences. The food is always good. I have never ordered anything that wasn't amazing. The fries are actually out of this world.
