The food was delicious and the portions were fairly generous. I felt our server allowed us to order too much. But he was very attentive! I think the prices are a tad high.
Very rude server. So much so that we had to turn around and leave as he made someone in our party cry through his harsh and unnecessary comments. Can’t say anything for the food but be careful with the staff.
One of the top seafood meals I have ever had. 4 of us got the treatment and every dish was fantastic. Plenty of food!
We were in Charlotte for the Oprah Show as a mother/daughter event and the experience was upbeat, yummy and comfortable!
One of the best dinners ever! Would recommend Fin & Fino as a must. Food and service is top notch. We loved our server Yolanda!
Wonderful experience!! Some of the best food and loved the service!! Servings are larger than you think so might want to share.. The flight of wine is fabulous!! Treatment is fun if you're adventurous. If you are a particular eater, I would choose your own.
Thank you so much for the wonderful feedback! We're so glad you enjoyed the treatment and wine flights, they're our favorites too! Looking forward to serving you again soon. Cheers!
Great service, ambiance, and food. Our waiter was spot on with excellent recommendations.
Overall an average experience: much better other times we have been there.
One of our favorite restaurants in town! Do the Treatment, it is wonderful and lots of fun also. Service great as usual
The best meal I have had in a long time. Inventive and amazing flavors. I did a tasting menu where the server asks a few questions and then they take it from there.
Fin & Fino service is incredible and food is always delicious .
I went for a business dinner and ended up there for over three hours. Our server Chris was excellent, with great suggestions for food and drink. They have an inventive menu and cocktail choices. Everything we had was great!
We were early for our reservation & seated immediately. Our waitress was awesome! Everything we had was delicious! Will return!
Excellent food with creative flavors and presentation. The service was top notch. We can’t wait to go again!
Amazing ambience& service. You will feel pampered & respected. Special orders (vegetarian) are not an issue
A delightful seafood restaurant. It's so nice that staff remember frequent guest diners and are friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and beverages.
Great food, great service. Good value. Nice menu.
Our experience at Fin & Fino never disappoints! Thank you so much Chris for an incredible New Year’s Eve!
The food was very good. We went for Christmas Eve dinner. Our waiter, Andrew, who said he had been with the restaurant since it had opened, was not knowledgeable about the oysters. He brought our wine 30 minutes after our food (which we had already finished) When I vocalized my disappointment, he said, “I can send it back if you don’t want it” and mumbled something under his breath. He was not very professional and put a damper on the experience. We will go back, but not have him serve us. I would have spoken up that evening, but it was Christmas Eve and didn’t want to make a fuss. FYI, my son still left a very nice gratuity.
This was such an amazing dining experience. While it doesn’t have a pretentious bone in its beautifully sculpted body, the ambiance of this place screams cultured and passionately curated. The food was incredible, only outdone by the cocktails. Keeping pace is the quality of the staff, with Head Bartender and cocktail extraordinaire, Brittany. Tim Buchanan, the GM, leads an amazing team, pumping out incredible food, memorable drinks, and to-die-for desserts. Go here, like every day, if you can.
Went for Christmas Eve dinner with the family. Was expecting a really great meal, but was not exactly wowed. Had the charcuterie, cheese plate, oysters and calamari as appetizers. The oysters were outstanding!! The charcuterie and cheese were delicious, and the calamari was just ok. As an entree, I had the kampachi which was good. My wife had the lobster and truffle pasta which definitely needed something to make it great. Another family member had the trout which was good. We didn’t have dessert, but I did find it very odd that there is no cappuccino or espresso offered, just regular coffee. I was not blown away by the experience, so might go back, but not running there. Porters House is still my favorite of the restaurants.
We both had "The Treatment". It was six or seven courses which we shared. They were all wonderful. We had to take the dessert home in a box because we were so full! Great fun, would do it again!
The service was fantastic! The staff were friendly and helpful. They had the best cheesecake we have ever eaten. The grilled oysters are delicious.
Lively atmosphere with fun sharable plates.
Earl - effusive, engaging, efficient- made our visit fantastic! He knows the menu inside out, answering our questions thoroughly. The food - superb, every scrumptious bite! The only problem, one dessert did not get delivered until all the others were consumed.
The food was good but it took about 40 mins to get lunch which was too long. I think it was due to the holidays.
Fairly loud open style restaurant with excellent selection of oysters and seafood Very good wines for pairing with oysters or seafood.
Loved everything about it! Great drinks, amazing spread of different flavors, and server had great suggestions! Was perfect for sharing with friends or family! Will be back!
Service was good. Food was pricey. I don't mind paying for it if it's great food, but the food was just average. Long wait in between servings. Pretty place, pretty bar, but just average overall.
Very nice atmosphere. food is pricey for the small portions.
Our first visit to Fin & Fino won't be our last! The food was excellent, Scott was attentive, fun & informative, and restaurant management extremely responsive when we asked to be reseated due to a large, noisy party arriving at the same time.
This was our first visit to Fin and Fino. We decided to dine there prior to attending a show at the Knight Theater. We highly recommend Fin and Fino. The variety of food, portion, and taste were all exceptional. Our server was knowledgeable and made great recommendations for food and wine. Be sure to have the lobster with the basil pasta and shaved black truffles. We loved it and will definitely go back!
Fin & Fino never disappoints. We often bring a guest and everyone leaves happy! Thanks Chef Scott!
The best part of dinner was our waiter - he was very knowledgeable and fun. Our group was very disappointed when our waiter told us that this place was a small plates tapas-style restaurant (food comes out when it is done and menu items are meant to be shared). Nowhere on the website or menu is that indicated. The worse part was the food was mediocre. There are better restaurants to experience in Charlotte.
We selected Fin & Fino for a business dinner. The restaurant had a great open setting, friendly staff and a great seafood menu. Despite showing up near closing time, they continued to offer exceptional service. We never felt rushed.
Perhaps our fault for this one. The menu did not line up with our tastes and preferences. We decided to eat here for proximity reasons. We prefer lots of grilled/blackened fish options + veggies, this is not their format. We chose to eat here, our bad. Had some poor execution by the bar . . . these things happen but was frustrating for us. Once again, busy night with ACC Championship in town.
Roll it all up, we probably won't be back but not an indictment on the restaurant as a whole. Simply will gravitate to other establishments where we have better luck with service and food options that we prefer.
Enjoyed a quiet lunch with a friend. Service was quick & good and the food was delicious. The $20 prix fix was just right with a cup of soup and half salad and a small main course.
Excellent service, food was quite good. Very cool vibe. A bit pricey for what you get. Overall, a great experience right before going to see a show across the street at the Knight theatre.
Poor service. We ordered the treatment and they didn’t explain anything. No explanation around what food came out or how the process worked. We only received 2 small plates and the steak because “the steak is a more expensive item.” We also bought a bottle of a recommended wine from our server. We told her we wanted a Red that wasn’t sweet and the wine she suggested was sweet. After spending $200 I expected more.
