Food was prepared perfectly and was delicious! Great service!
Love sitting on their semi enclosed patio. Thy have outdoor heaters and a fireplace. Cozy
Went here for a date night with my husband. Both our entrees were great. He had the rack of lamb and I had the lobster pasta. He said that was the best rack of lamb he’s ever had. We weren’t as impressed with the escargot we ordered as an appetizer. The sauce in it was alright but a little weird. Overall the food was very good though. Our only disappointment was with the service. It took way too long to get the wine we ordered. Which was surprising because there were only four tables in the restaurant and two servers. Also you can see into the kitchen and there was either a friend or someone who wasn’t working just hanging out in there walking around and chatting to everyone. This wasn’t a big deal or anything he just looked a little grungy and at first my husband thought he was homeless. We only noticed because you can see right into the kitchen.
Great food great service. Charming place.
Started with crab cakes it was crunchy in a good way, sauce was good. Split a Cesar salad they split it for us , it was under dressed they brought us more dressing and Parmesan right away. The biggest problem was the plates they used were too small and awkwardly shaped so our salad kept falling on the table. Our server offered a different salad we declined. My wife got the lobster with pasta and that was nice. I had the filet and it was cooked perfectly with a nice sauce. The potatoes were cold, the asparagus was perfect.
I would go back for the filet. Oh, they had a tasting menu but it had Kangaroo, I’m not that daring. If they offered filet I would have, the rest of the options looked awesome.
The host was very polite and inviting, and the our server was Attentive and had a great sense of humor. One of the good things that stod out to me, when we finished out first course, (and so on and so forth) it didn’t take long out all for them to be removed.
We went for a birthday dinner for our daughter. We were warmly greeted and seated immediately. Our server was very attentive and was happy to answer questions and describe the specials and dishes. We were all very happy with our meals (Salmon, Rack of Lamb, filet and soup pan roast. We plan to return in the future for another celebration.
Neat little neighborhood restaurant in a thriving area. Staff was great and very friendly. Menu is very unique and has a lot of wild game. Had the kangaroo, was pretty tasty, not gamey, would recommend you get that cooked rare.
Waugu beef dish was outstanding. Owner is always there to ensure your experience is good.
must try!!! the filet mignon was excellent! service was impeccable.
We have now been to Feast/Fin and Filet four or five times. The food and service are always excellent. Trust them to pick your wine for you!
I love being able to order game meats. The multi-course two person option is always interesting - although we did not order it this time as my husband is not fond of fish. I wish the kangaroo had been an appetizer or entree option too.
The scallops diablo are unique and delicious. The BBQ baby octopus are also wonderful
I ordered the venison and received two very large chops which were a perfect medium rare.
The cheesecake was dense and perfect!
Excellent food and service! Tried the seasonal Kangaroo dish and thought it be Okay but it was fabulous! Not gamey and very soft but you have to order it medium rare to rare. Will be back next year since we live in Hawaii!
Excellent food and service!!!
Great patio seating in the back for a relaxed birthday dinner with friends. Seafood selections were great. We each got something different and shared; couldn’t decide who’s was the best!
Excellent service and delicious food. Stiff and tasty cocktails. We had the scallops, venison rack and duck - all cooked to perfection.
The attention given is most welcome. A great steakhouse and fine fish.
I took my husband out to dinner for his birthday. We had made a reservation and were immediately seated at a great table near the windows. The hostess was friendly and explained the pre fix menu to us. Our waiter was very attentive and our drinks, appetizer, and meal were served in a timely manner. My husband was given his choice of a complimentary dessert for his birthday. Our food was attractive and very tasty. The atmosphere was pleasant, and we appreciated that the noise level was low considering the fact that there were quite a few diners there. I have already recommended Fin & Filet to my friends, and I plan on returning again.
My fiance' and I love Fin and Filet. It is our go to date night for special occasions.
A truly enjoyable experience; dinner as it should be.
We love this place. There’s always something new on their menu. The cocktails are inventive and we’ve never had a meal we didn’t enjoy. The service is consistently the best in the area! We tell people about this place all the time!!
We had escargot and bacon wrapped scallops to start; I had the pan fry and my partner had the surf and turf. The escargot was decent, the scallops were cold in the middle. We sent the cold scallops back and got really marginal hot scallops back. The lobster was really tough, as were the shrimp; made Red Lobster look like a beacon of light. Her fillet was the best part of the meal, tender and cooked properly red center, seared outer. The restaurant is nice inside, it hasn’t changed much if at all since it was Feast; same decor, same bad food. We did have a nice view of the Wild Orchid looking out the window next to our table, so I guess if you’re into bright flashing neon lights bouncing off of your wine glass it’s a bonus.
The food was excellent...very tender steak. The drinks were a bit pricey but delicious. There is a variety of entrees and my husband said the lamb chops were the best he has ever had.
We had a wonderful dinner overall. Everyone enjoyed the food and service was excellent.
Very good food - wedge salad & Sole Meuniere. Slow night, but unfortunately service even slower. Worth a visit.
Food and service was fabulous. One of the best meals we’ve had in quite some time. Would definitely recommend. We’ll certainly be back the next time we’re in the area.
D- under cooked sauage, no noodle salad , no Hawaiian music, no "Hawaiian fruits", poa, Hawaiian sun soda or juices, no local style spam ,no sticky rice,
I lived in Hawaii for 6 years, so much more could have been done
The cause was great and my wife may volunteer for them.
To a certain extent, you get what you pay for. On this occasion, the elk steak was excellent as was the duck. Halibut was also a good choice. Crab cake and shrimp appetizers were also tasty. Desserts were a perfect finish. Service was great. No hovering but also not abandoned. Wine suggestion was spot on. It is a bit pricey, but generally worth it.
Service was wonderful. Appetizer and salad was perfect, as well as the fresh bread. My entree was too salty (pan roast).
Excellent service and truly outstanding food, the unique menu and the chef's ability to prepare dishes like Kangaroo really set this experience to be the best in Reno.
This is one of our favorite restaurants in Reno. It’s always delicious, great service, great drinks, and just a darn good time. I had the salmon and my husband had the surf and turf and both were absolutely incredible!
As always- The Fixed Price menu did not disappoint. The kangaroo was particularly outstanding! Our birthday guest also got a lovely and energetic "Happy Birthday" sung to her in Polish! A+++++
Food and service were great. Nice place for a lovely evening meal! We will definitely return and hopefully it will be a bit cooler out to enjoy the patio and live music which we could hear a bit from inside!
A quiet spot with authentic attention to our needs. I asked that my sole be served on vegetables rather than rice and the medley of spinach, zucchini and roasted tomatoes was perfect. The selection of small plates allowed the four of us to share and the Caesar salad was crisp and a generous size. The menu fits the name Fin and Filet with unique along with traditional selections. A new favorite.
Service was great! Unique menu with delectible meats (had elk, venison, and kangaroo) swordfish was slightly over cooked but otherwise the rest of the food was delicious. Tasting menu with wine pairing was superb.
Food was equal to a three star restaurant, but at five star pricing. The service was fantastic. I hate to say it but this will be my last time dinning here.
A warm welcome with comfortable seating for an enjoyable evening. The wine list was not current but it has some great finds for the wino in the group. Enjoyed the game dishes. Great staff in getting all answers and making accommodations for food allergies.
We went on a Friday night at 7 and there were only a few people in the restaurant, so we were worried it was going to be a bust. I am happy to say it was anything but! Great food, drinks and service!
My wife had the fillet and I had the fish of the day, halibut. Both meals were delicious.
While the name has changed (FEAST) the food quality and service remains great.
The "Feast" tasting menu was and is always outstanding with great variety, pairings and value!
2nd time -both dinners were superb- Hong Kong steak and the halibut
