The food was beyond expectation, exciting and pleasantly surprising. The vibe was very cool yet authentic and upscale. Service was 5 stars !!! The The Filthy Animal will become the the most sought after reservation in the area. I put it at the very top in the greater Phoenix area. Your team was firing on all cylinders last night. A great culinary experience at great value. WOW from New Jersey.

Amber was amazing and very attentive. Definitely recommend this place. The food was great. Wish I got to try more. Will definitely come back the next time I visit Arizona!

Was excited to try this spot for a date night, but the experience was underwhelming and we ended up leaving early. Several hostesses were up front, but we weren’t acknowledged until I asked for assistance. The only reservation available was outdoors, and I assumed there’d be misters or something to offset the summer heat and unfortunately there weren’t. If dining here in summer, definitely opt for indoor seating. The interior looked cool and vibey, but the outdoor area lacked that same energy and ambiance. Our server was friendly, but when we asked if the yellowtail was good, he said he personally preferred tuna and steered us in that direction instead of answering the question. We tried the tuna ceviche. It was okay. The smoky or some other flavor was overpowering, and some pieces were very chewy. We also ordered the short rib dumplings. The flavor was great, but the dough was gummy, like it was undercooked or reheated. We liked our cocktails, but it wasn’t enough to stay for dinner. We left and ate elsewhere. I really enjoy their other concepts, so I’m hopeful this one finds its groove. I’d be open to checking it out again down the line once things feel a bit more dialed in.
