We are here for good food and good people! Come say hi!
This place was great in every way not to mention excellent food!
Love the cozy feel of the restaurant. And my favorite is the eggplant....best Italian in the city of Portland!
Great food......except one of our meals was luke warm. We were also sitting in the front area so if someone opened the door a rush of cold hits you pretty good. Need to explore some type of wind blocking drapes ?
Fantastic food fish stew best in Portland
Relaxing atmosphere with excellent service
Autumn salad is the best
Fabulous dining experience , we love to come here often
Super food and vibe with great service!
Food was good, but the meal was slow, and our server was inattentive at best. Our appetizer selections weren't delivered correctly, and desert menus were delivered to the table while some of us were still eating. (Note: they cleared plates for 1/2 the table while some of us were eating). Worst of all, one of our party ended up spending the night in the latrine!
Wonderful Italian food. Fresh ingredients cooked like home! Love the vibe .... make a reservation. We always go one or two times when in Portland from San Diego.
Great food, pacing and ambience. A little loud but tolerable. Definitely will go back. Best espresso I’ve ever had!
We had a terrific time dining with friends. The wait staff was excellent. The food was amazing and overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the evening.
The autumn salad was outstanding as were the eggplant dish, the scallops and gnocchi. We had a great bottle of wine for a very reasonable price ($4 off from $41) because we ordered it during happy hour. The coffee and desserts were also exceptional. The price is always higher than I like these days. The service was always there and always very personable. It was a great experience.
The fried goat cheese was wonderful and topped it off with grandma's gnocchi...another great dish.
Service was great. Food was great. Wonderful restaurant. $25 corkage fee??
Everything was perfect except they didn’t have any really traditionally simple Italian dishes. No pomodoro, no simple pastas. No seasonal vegetable dishes except salads. Very meat heavy. . But what we had was very good.
Love love love this place - great people and food
Another wonderful meal at our neighborhood favorite...
Great meal out with friends. Food was wonderful and they were very accommodating on modifications (chicken vs prawns and pasta instead of rice). Service was just right! We will be back and our friends have a new go to place!
Thoroughly enjoyed our birthday celebration. Food was excellent, service was excellent. I wear hearing aids and I found the noise level easy to deal with. And the cost of the evening was entirely reasonable.
We decided to go to Fillmore Trattoria to celebrate an anniversary, and it was lovely. They gave us each a glass of complementary champaign to celebrate the occasion. We ordered drinks, an appetizer, a special mushroom ravioli dish, and a Portabella pasta dish. The food was absolutely delicious! We finished with dessert, a Gelato espresso dish, which was very decadent. The service was great, we didn't feel rushed or ignored. The restaurant itself is very cozy in a good way. Overall it was a very nice place to have an anniversary dinner, but I have a feeling that we will be going back just to enjoy the food, no special occasion necessary.
The best Italian food I have had in Portland. Marissa was a perfect server, great recommendations. Very charming space within a large old house. Outdoor seating with heat lamps and a fire pit. Full bar with a very good wine list. Highly recommend.
This was probably our 7th or 8th visit. We love it more each time.
Thank goodness the chicken GOV was a special when we visited. Great service, food and near the Swifts migration!
This is my new favorite Italian restaurant, love absolutely everything about. The owner came out and chatted with us, we sat by the fireplace, very lovely. My third visit, will definitely be coming back.
Great spot for dinner in the NW neighborhood!
Delicious food! Ambiance is great. A perfect way to spend any evening. Will absolutely be going back.
The place is less expensive than other restaurants offering the same foods, parking is easy to find and the staff is charming. However, the food is just OK. It's good but nothing to write home about.
Each of our food choices was delicious especially the zucchini with slivered almonds and pecorino cheese. Divine. We chose to sit inside and unfortunately it was extremely noisy. We’ll try outdoors next time.
I would give it 5 stars overall except for the noise. Energetic is hardly adequate to characterize it. Every time we go, there’s at least one table - and usually more - of 4-10 people talking at the top of their voices, shrieking with laughter, and generally behaving as if they are unaware that there are other people in the restaurant. That’s not unique to Fillmore but it seems to be a persistent problem there.
Apart from that, I like pretty much everything about the place.
Always a great, causal experience. The food, service and ambiance is great. The value is there as well.
Always a great experience. Service, wine advice, respect....Love it
We went to celebrate a friend's birthday. Everyone's 1st time. All the dishes were hits. The birthday girl said the tiramisu was the best she had ever had.
Out of town guests
Excellent dessert! Wonderful neighborhood restaurant with outstanding food.
sat outside on the patio and had a lovely dinner. The bruschetta appetizer was delicious as were the snapper and the rigatoni.
Great neighborhood hidden gem ... well, not so hidden anymore. We love the Fillmore!
Wonderful. Just a little too noisy
We love Fillmore Trattoria-- my daughter has food allergies (all tree nuts) and Fillmore Trattoria is our special treat. They keep her safe and the food is very good.
Food was great! Service was good. Parking ok.
We live in the North West and love to walk to this restaurant. Fillmore Trattoria feels like family - the wait staff is friendly, they are very attentive, ready for any questions, and are very familiar with all the ingredients of the food on the menu. I especially love the eggplant parmigiana! Fillmore is a very attractive restaurant and we use it as our "go - to" when we have visitors.
