Food was excellent. Service was great
Unfortunately you can tell that the restaurant has changed dramatically since Michael Schwartz left. The food is not the same at all. The food was lacking taste and season all over starting even with the olives. Staff was very friendly trying to accommodate us by fixing the dishes or giving us another choices but still was far from what the original restaurant was.
Como muchos restaurantes de Brickell, totalmente sobrevalorado. La propuesta del menú no es la mejor y la calidad/precio es baja.
Comible pero no tiene la calidad adecuada al precio que cobran.
The food was good and the service was good, the waitress was very helpful and friendly.
It was our second time tying Fi'lia and it was nothing special. Food was just OK and service matched it. This restaurant does not really represent the Michael Schwartz brand, in my opinion. Will not be returning.
Nice restaurant. Food was okay.
Service is absolutely HORRIBLE.
Filia never disappoints. Food was delicious and the service was impeccable as always.
Very disappointing been there several times in the past and it used to be great.
Food did not taste good. Chicken was very salty and with a LOT of sauce. Pizza was not good!
My wife and I were both very disappointed by this restaurant. I really wanted to like it as I love two of the owner's other places but I didn't like it all and I will never go back.
Nice atmosphere! Romantic and good food...
Best pizza ever. Everything was delicious!
Our server was excellent and so personable and the gluten free pasta was some of the best we have had! They even created a pasta dish for me due to my food allergies and I extremely enjoyed it. We are thinking of going back again during our short stay here at the hotel.
Service was excellent, drinks and food arrived with perfect timing. Appetizers as well as main course, were perfectly cooked. Will definitely visit again.
Cesar was awesome great service great atmosphere
Food was good for what you got. Portions were small and everything was way to expensive.
The food fell flat. The waiter brought everything out at once. Many items got cold
It looks like it changed owners or management, been there many times before. Now the food its not even close to what it used to be. Signature salad changed completely to a awful salad but price remained at 28. Food was terrible, i doubt a real chef would give the ok to serve those dishes, he wasn’t there or he was drunk.
Food took almost a hour for a cheeseburger and salad. The server was amazing but the wait time for the food was not worth it
The food is always good. Not too overpriced. And the portions are reasonable.
So charming and helpful. Thank you for making my meal vegetarian friendly even though it wasn’t on the menu. I’m so appreciative and had a wonderful evening.
My second time for biz lunch where it just took too long. We ordered a salad appetizer and then pizza. Between the Salad and the pizzas I think we waited half hour. Just too long for biz lunch.
Disappointed that the Ceasar Salad is no longer made tableside (nor nearly as good as it used to be), but the mushroom pizza was awesome, as was the grilled chicken. We ate on a Monday night, and tho the restaurant was close to empty, we were most surprised by the lax service. Wait staff was very friendly and courteous, but staggeringly unattentive (e.g. when asked to bring something like bread, they'd agree, but it would never show up...happened multiple times for different requests). Used to be our favorite restaurant, not sure I'd hurry back again
Great menu and the food was incredible for a hotel restaurant. My family loved it. Service was on top of things.
We started with grilled octopus and the pate and then margarita pizza followed by mussels, cacio n pepe pasta and the branzino with roasted squash.
Great restaurant and not pretentious at all.
Will be back
Service was not good. Wine we chose was not available We had to pick another bottle that arrived when we were almost done with our pasta
The vibe was great. I got the mushroom pizza and I typically love a mushroom and arugula pizza. However I found this to be way to mushroomy and it made the pizza soggy. I also got a chopped salad that was tasty except for the fact that it was swimming in dressing (way too much). Service was okay, nothing great. I had to wait to be greeted and I had to flag someone down for a water refill. It was decent, but unimpressive.
The choices were fine ,but the main courses do not come with any side dishes( vegetables, potatoes, etc).
The most disappointing choice was the grilled prawns at $22 ,there was 2 prawns with barely 2 forkfuls of shrimp.
When I commented about it to the server, she sent over the manager. She asked if I wanted another order,I said no for that cost!
Upon asking for the check after finishing, all of a sudden she offered to bring another “free order”.
I refused, because it was too late, but she could have comped a drink,or dessert instead.
It was handled poorly.
Great food and great value at a lovely venue
I was disappointed. First time we dined here since Michael Schwartz is not affiliated. I had a flank steak which was extremely tough. Brussel sprouts had a sauce and we did not eat them. Waiter observed and asked if he could bring another dish. We accepted and had the margareta pizza.....not good. There are much better restaurants in the Brickell area.
Need more variety in the menu, and more servers on the floor.
The food is great, we didn’t have to wait to get seated. Service was excellent, we did not wait long for the food. I love this place. The meatballs are my favorite item of the menu, although everything g I have ordered has been delicious.
Recent negative reviews about service obviously taken seriously. Our server and entire staff could not have been better. Food is well-prepared, if a bit dull, and way too salty.
Service was slow, food took forever and when it came out, it was under cooked. The corn agnolotti was good though.
Very good food but indifferent service sitting outside
We had small plates and they were delicious, definitely get the grilled octopus it was tender and tasty. The meatballs soft and juicy. Try the Paloma cocktail I really enjoyed the tequila grapefruit mix. There was a hiccup with the service they lost our ticket but the manager took care of our meal completely that’s was so generous and unexpected. We will definitely go back. Lewis our waiter was lovely. All in all a really nice night.
Amazing ! Would come again
Restaurant was well appointed, and staff was exceptionally helpful. We went early - right after work - which meant the crowds were not big, but the noise level outside was very high - drivers trying to get home, etc. Still, we could hear one another well and had a lovely meal outside. Initially appeared that the menu was quite limited, but on study and further exploration, it turned out to be uniquely enjoyable - most of the standard heavy American dishes were missing (no Veal Parm with pasta or Chicken Picatta) but good number of truly Italian specialties were included (warm olives, and peppered pasta made in a parm wheel). Wait staff also helped with suggestions and combinations that let you construct a good, and very tasty meal.
Everything was perfect!
The SLS is a great place. Quick pointer: get there 45 minutes before your reservation and go gave a drink at the bar up the stairs. Dinner was wonderful (carpaccio, grilled octopus, corn agnolotti, yellowtail and crispy potatoes). All of them were great, too much food for just 2. Service was good also. Wine list could offer more choices (that’s my sole constructive criticism). Highly recommend!!!
