   The food was fantastic 😋 we had the Haggis bon bons for stater. Stilton beef burger & mushroom tagliatelle for mains. Everything was well cooked and presented. The staff were friendly and helpful. The place itselfs is comfortable and inviting.

   My partner and I enjoyed the crispy calamari starter, which was very good. He chose the risotto and was very pleased with his choice. I chose the Asian chili chicken, was was good, but the chicken could have been more chunky and juicer. Both of the dishes were served in generous portions. We were seated at a window table, but next right up against 4 businessmen carrying on a variety of conversations we could not help but overhear. I would not consider this restaurant for a first date place, as the tables are so close together. Having said that, it ranks near the top of our Inverness meals.

   We enjoyed our evening at Fig and Thistle - we had only had lunch previously.. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food beautifully presented and well cooked. Wine list is a little basic.

   Good but not great. Service was very good but the salmon was not fresh but frozen which was a disappointment. Chicken linguine was very good.

   Fantastic service - had a short wait for table but offered a drink and seating in covered/heated outdoor area. Food and service great throughout meal
