    Well priced good food. Service not terribly attentive. Had to ask for second glass of wine, maybe, etc twice. Mayo never came. Manager was excellent, three young ladies not as attentive.

    Good food and good service, an enjoyable evening had. However, why are the desserts served with vegan ice cream……it’s a pretty awful substitute for the real thing.

    What a wonderful restaurant, we were made so welcome the staff are friendly, helpful and we weren't rushed either with choosing our food or when we were finished.Great choice of menu and the food is freshly made and delicious.

    Went to the Fig & Thistle for a Birthday meal and this place never fails to amaze us. The food & service was absolutely exceptional! Amazing Local restaurant, I would highly recommend anyone local or visiting Inverness to dine here!

    The food was really good! And the staff very nice. The ambience music could have been a bit louder, but overall it was a really nice dinner. We love the chocolate and biscoff cheesecake! It’s a must if you have a sweet palate.

    We were very excited to dine at Fig & Thistle in Inverness. We did quite a bit of research and this restaurant kept coming out on top. We were seated promptly and the owner (?) or manager asked if we wanted oysters - he was very enthusiastic that they had just gotten them in, so we ordered a couple. Those arrived at our table prior to anyone taking a cocktail order which was a little odd. Once a server came to our table, we ordered two cosmopolitans and instead of going to get those, she wanted our full food order. We ordered a starter, a salad, and a main dish to share. The salad came out next. It was listed as rocket in the menu but it was mixed greens and tomatoes - not anything special. Still no cocktails arrived, so we waived another server down to inquire -- they came out a little after that. While we were eating the salad and the starter, the main course arrived ... all of the food came out within minutes of each other which made us feel very rushed. It was definitely not the leisurely dining experience we had hoped for. This is a well=established restaurant with pretty great reviews, so maybe we caught it on an off night, but it was a disappointing experience considering all of the restaurant options in the area.

    Lovely place! Great food and even better staff and service. Accommodated our group with lots of little kids. Would definitely recommend and return!

    Very friendly and welcoming, Did not feel rushed and was given ample time to sit and read the menu Was also given prosecco on the house when they found out it was 1 of our party birthday I thought really good value and will definitely be back
