Food took too long for lunch - Salad and sandwich waited over 40 mins.
We sat down at 7:40pm and aside from getting water brought to the table, our waitress didn’t come to ask for our order until 8:25pm. The service was so slow. Food was good but the service ruined the night. We finally told the waitress to pack our desserts to go because we had a long day. It took 30 minutes for the check and dessert. We finally left cash and walked out because we didn’t want to wait for her to take the credit card. I probably wouldn’t go back, which is disappointing because I love both of the locations in Manhattan.
Always the best experience at Fig & Olive
I've been going to figs and olive for some time now and I've never had a complaint however, the last few times I've noticed they changed the truffles mushroom croquet and the mach potato that come with the bronzinno are just awful, both my husband and I did not eat them after the 1st taste. They failed here.
It was very noisy. Very crowded. The waitress forgot to bring us oils. The drinks took a long time to come out. Dessert took forever It was disappointing.
Great place for me to take my 75 year old mother but large tables available. Never anything but a superior meal. Good neighborhood spot for regulars too.
Our dinner was nice
I have visited this eatery a number of times and each time I am quite satisfied with its food and service. I wish the Happy Hour specials could be applied to while dining right next to the bar area.
We were pleasantly surprised when we walked in and saw a singer. It was a nice touch (only on Thursday evenings).
My husband and I were celebrating our birthdays (which I mentioned on Open Table reservation, and thought would be noted to eatery); our meals were a great way of celebrating.
The menu is limited but food is very good. Just be careful in reviewing your bill when it comes. Might have been an oversight but our waiter certainly wasn't careful about catching the "Prix Fixe lunch charge" of $25 that showed up on our dinner tab in the place of two $10 desserts.
It was a great dining experience. The staff was very attentive to our needs. The caprese was really fresh and delicious
Delicious meal and fantastic service. Highly recommend!
As always, food and service was wonderful.. I do have a pet peeve about restaurants and this one did what I really hate.. the restaurant was half empty and they seated us ( table for 2) immediately next to the servers station. My back was to the clanging that was 1" away from me. We requested another table further away and immediately got changed.. however.. we made a reservation weeks ago ( when one wasn't needed since it was not busy) so why put us at a terrible table? I found it insulting.. It was in a terrible spot for anyone, but at least offer it to someone who is a "walk in" when it is the last spot you have.. not hope that we won't mind.. I do!!
My wife and I keep coming back to Fig & Olive because it is simply the best place to eat near where we live. The menu is constantly changing to keep up-to-date with fresh ingredients. The staff is very welcoming. Parking is abundant. The ambiance is nice whatever time you go.
Everything was great except for my main chicken course. The server was quick and wonderful, crostinis were awesome and my boyfriend enjoyed his branzino dish.
We got seated quickly, and they accommodated our table request. Once seated however, it took a while for our server to get our drink order. By the time we ordered our food and began to eat, she never checked on us at all - we had to call her a couple of times to ask for certain things. Carrot and Ginger soup was ok, same with the branzino. We did like the salmon. The Chocolate Pot De Creme dessert was good but ordinary, and the latte was alright as well. Our favorite was the crostini - glad we ordered 6, as that was the best part of the entire meal. The food itself was alright - honestly expected more, since Mediterranean food is a favorite of ours. Service definitely needs improvement. We go out to eat a lot, and being in NYC foodies, we know what to expect as far as food and service. Perhaps the Manhattan locations are better.
Excellent food and service! Our entire party had a great evening!
Horrible service ... what a bad experience... manager was no help ..... never going there again
We went to celebrate our birthdays during Restaurant week and were extremely satisfied with the service, food and atmosphere. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. I ordered the Branzino which came with roasted figs was quite savoring, but a bit small. The steak was juicy, tender and tasty. We had a 3 course meal which was abundant for the price. I looked at their regular menu and noticed that it was not super pricey. I will definitely return again!
Food was very bland and overpriced!
I had a late lunch with a friend for restaurant week. The lunch was great. It was 3 courses. Each course was a sufficient portion. And it tasted great
People here were very friendly, as soon as we walked in, they introduced themselves to us. While we were eating, the waiter came and advised us that the manager bought us a round of drinks. Food was excellent, have to have the carrot ginger soup, the services was excellent, people were friendly and it was moderately priced. What ore could you want.
We love Fig & Olive. It's a special place for a special family dinner... and it does not have to be a special occasion. It can be just because we need some family time together! This time, Victor was our server and he was great. We also love Leo. From the receptionist to the servers to the manager, everyone is kind to the kids which makes us feel comfortable.
We couldn't be more pleased with everything about this place. 1) Manager was super accommodating to our big party of 14. The can do attitude is so nice to see.
2) Excellent drinks.
3) Excellent Restaurant week menu at regular big portion. I can barely finish my meal!
4) Excellent service.
Overall a great experience! Big thanks to Ray (Manager).
We dined during restaurant week so the menu was limited. We were with a group of six and everyone enjoyed their meal. I ordered the chicken and it was not what I expected . The beets and burrata appetizer was amazing and so was the mushroom croquette.
Great overall experience. Can’t wait to go back.
The Branzino I received was dry and burnt. I received another. That one still was not very tasteful. It was over cooked as well. However, the 3 crostini and squash soup were amazing! As was my cocktail.
It was my first time dining here and I had a great experience. The food was very good and the I have no complaints about the service. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the entrees and answered all of my questions. I will definitely recommend this place in the future and visit again.
Enjoyed our meal for Restaurant week. Will return again for a special occasion. The ambiance was vert nice. We asked for a sear where we could spend a while,as we hadn't seen our friends for some time. The staff was very friendly and accomadating.
Fig & Olive is a great place to go to! Was the first time for me and definitely not the last, especially knowing now that there's Ladies' Night on Thursdays.
Food was delicious and looked mouth-watering. Very attentive staff with perfect service!
Great Time hanging at the bar
Great food and wonderful atmosphere.
The portions were so small. We all left hungry
All around good
We have dined at Fig&Olive on a number of occasions, but never on a busy Saturday evening. It was hectic. The service was not attentive. The food other than the crostini's, which were delicious as always, was fair. No one checked to see how our meals were until we were done. The salmon I ordered was OK, but the "roasted" cauliflower that was with it was barely cooked and cold. I would return on a weeknight or for lunch, but never again on a Saturday. They just weren't up to the task. It appears there is no manager on site..at least that is how it felt.
Service was not great and the food tasted as if it was pre-prepared. Certainly not worth the price.
Nicest thing I could say is the restaurant is beautiful.
Sat us at the smallest table, when all the tables around us were empty. Bit ridiculous. Also the steak was once again quite fatty, so needless to say- I didn’t think it was worth the $30.
Great Happy Hour. Great selection of crostini with shrimp or prosciutto or fig or ........
Terrible service, did not give us what was supposed to be given to us, management was her Renda’s, staff was lazy, food was cold, staff was creepy because they kept staring at us from the bar, they never gave us a braid or oil even when asked at the table, food is not worth the money. Stay away go to any other place in Westchester but this place
Excellent, had not been in a while but would go back sooner than later. Beet salad a must!!
We had a fabulous lunch today. The chef even made us a cheese board as a starter even though it wan’t on the regular menu. We ordered the salmon burger, a chicken sandwich and chicken salad. The food was delicious and the portions generous. The staff was very attentive. I highly recommend Fig & Olive Westchester.
