Always an excellent choice!
Fig and Olive has an eclectic menu. I highly recommend the Riviera Salmon, which was perfectly cooked, or the Fettuccine Mascarpone. The Chocolate Fondant was an excellent finishing touch. A plate of bread was brought to the table with three different olive oils, which was an interesting start to the meal. The prices are reasonable considering the location. Thank you, Johanna for patiently answering questions about the menu and for your attentive service!
Great service and the food was not only good but had great presentation. Would definitely go back to try other items on the menu. I appreciated the breadth of healthy options.
Place needs serious renovations
It's a decent restaurant but not very good value for money. The crostini were ok but we didn't like the bread they came on, the lamb chops were not great, the chilean sea bass was nice but we didn't like the sides it came with. Everything was a little pricey, the place was crowded and they didn't have coat check. Overall it wasn't bad but we will not be returning here.

The food was very good. However the service sucked. We had to ask for bread several times before it was brought over. Coffee was never refilled and at $4 a cup it should have been offered
When the bill arrived we asked for it to be split amongst 2 cards which they did BUT the suggested tip amounts remained the same as if it were the whole amount for each of us. I feel that is very confusing especially if you are a foreigner.
At first our waitress wasn’t so great. Forgetting to bring things we asked for and making us pour our own wine. The manager stepped in after that and we had excellent service the rest of the night!
Great time - Dinner was very good - My sister in law have the quinoa salad and I had the fig & olive salad with salmon - perfect dinner!
Great food, ambiance but SLOW service! I've been twice to this restaurant and both times the service is less than par!

Excellent food, risotto and rack of lamb full of flavour. Despite being Valentine's day the value for money was fair.

Great service. Great wine. The Malbec was our choice. I recommend getting a bottle if you're having a couple glasses each. Went for Restaurant Week. The truffle croquettes were delicious, as were our entrees; salmon cooked perfectly and the filet mignon. Both desserts; pot de creme and olive oil cake were great. Although restaurant week advertises $42 per person, expect to leave paying significantly more with drinks, and several items on the menu that require an upcharge. (But this is common for most of Restaurant Week's participating establishments).

We went for restaurant week. The food was incredible aw always. I always leave happy. The freshness and flavones are consistently incredible.
Same great food and service as you find in the F&O Meatpackers, but without the space and without a cocktail menu (beer and wine only).

Came to Fig & Olive Uptown for restaurant week; the service was fantastic, but I expected the food to taste better - I found it a bit bland. Nevertheless I would return and try items outside of the restaurant week menu.
Lighthearted place for lunch. Delicious and friendly service.
Everything was great except for the seating. I was sitting on the seam of a shallow and too-high banquette. Very uncomfortable. I would go back but I would make sure to sit in a different seat.
Honestly... this is one of those places I always say I don’t need to come back but I do. They have something for everyone. Our server was great. But its so not worth the money. My steak was prob one of the most over seasoned steaks I have ever had and just not good. And the fries were loaded with truffle oil and Parmesan (and not indicated as so on the menu). For the price there is way more you can do. And the wines by the glass are just okay.
I went there with my wife. We both loved our food choices, the portions were just the right size and flavors were original and tasty. The waitress and maitre were very nice, although at times we were left by ourselves a little too long. Anyways, definitely great choice if you are in the UES!

I’ve been to the other locations but this one is very cozy and intimate. The service was on point and the wait staff was very friendly. The food is amazing. Must try the crostinis. The roasted cauliflower is a must try too. We had the burrata heirloom beets which were delicious too. Dessert was fabulous too. We had the shortbread crostini. Everything was delicious and there is a great selection of wine.
This is a wonderful spot with consistently lovely service & excellent food.
I was so pleased with our experience at Fig and Olive. The food was excellent! Also, we were somewhat short on time before an event that evening - the server answered any questions we had about the menu and was very responsive to our schedule.
Everyone in our party had a fabulous time and the food was exquisite ❤️❤️❤️
Great! Delicious salsa and crostinis..
The food was underwhelming- our entrees were in need of seasoning and the paella was soupy not the fluffy right very with crispy bottom you expect to have. Our server may have been new and wasn’t sure if the drinks we ordered were available although they were on the menu and got our order wrong as well. The crostini were the best part of the meal, wish we just ordered more of those and got a glass of wine at the bar.

The food and service was very good. While the cost was in line with area restaurants, we found the portion sizes small. We had gone to another Fig & Olive, about 20 blocks away and found their ambiance nicer than this one. Perhaps, because this one was smaller. Based on the food quality and service, I'd recommend this restaurant to a friend.

We had lunch and it was great, our waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful, we had Crostinis to star and cheese board, that was a very good way to star. We both had the steak salad that was cook just the way I like and the greens were very fresh
