FIG & OLIVE Uptown
At FIG & OLIVE, each dish is prepared with a special olive oil. Our selection of Extra Virgin Olive Oils include some of the finest olive oils of the Mediterranean region. FIG & OLIVE brings you authentic, fresh and flavorful ingredients, simple yet refined dishes, the health benefits of the olive oil and the Mediterranean diet, and antioxidant quality of figs & olives.
“FIG & OLIVE Kitchen and Tasting Bar, leaves no doubt about its Mediterranean loyalties. The chalk-white stucco walls evoke the region, and the menu is dominated by dishes prepared with olive oil” (New York Times April 2005)
We have selected wonderful wines from the South of France, Spain and Italy to accompany your culinary journey around the Mediterranean region. Twenty six wines are served by the glass so you can travel from the Provence, to the Tuscan and to the Rioja regions.
I had forgotten my wallet. The waitress and manager could not have been nicer about it. The permitted me to leave, go home and retrieve it with no hassle
I cannot day enough about Fig & Olive. The food is absolutely delicious. The service is wonderful.
I came for my friend’s birthday and the wait staff was amazing and brought us dessert with a candle without even asking! 😄 Also the restaurant week options were great. We had a fantastic time!
There is nothing “Mediterranean” about the menu and the flavor.
THE STAFF WAS BEYOND NICE AND ATTENTIVE.
THE FOOD WAS ALSO WONDERFUL
THE WATERMELON, BURRATA APPETIZER WAS WONDERFUL.
THEY SURPRISED MY MOM WITH A CANDLE IN A DESSERT FOR HER AT NO CHARGE.
THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR A GREAT DINING EXPERIENCE.
I have been to this restaurant several times and the food and service is always very good. The feel and ambience is so nice. Highly recommend.
Excellent selection of food and wine, great service. Shrimp fettuccine was less than perfect. However, penne with mushrooms was really great. I’d recommend this place.
Had the Restaurant Week special. Food was delicious and the serving size was much larger than expected. Will definitely be going back.
Said they weren’t participating in restaurant week on Sundays when the website clearly says they are (and we told the hostess it was on the website).
The lamb burger had something spicy in it not mentioned in the menu that the server seemed clueless about.
Great service and wonderful and creative food
Fig & Olive has been my go to place. It works as a central location that everyone can get to and the food has always been good.
Would never return here again to meet a client - environment was boisterous and loud, and it was exceptionally difficult to manage to grab the attention of anyone besides a busser. Enjoyed the food from the Restaurant Week menu. If I were free on a Saturday and in the area with lots of time on my hands, I might consider eating here again. Otherwise, not a great experience for the money.
We tried the Restaurant Week menu. I recommend booking in advance as it was busy and there was a wait. The Yellowfin Tuna Carpaccio and the Mushroom Croquettes were fantastic. Enjoyed the Primavera Risotto entry. The portions were very generous. I'm looking forward to returning.
Staff was attentive and friendly, foo
Very accommodating, great service and wine selection, food was wonderful.
Very relaxing. Tasty and just right proportions
This is a good neighborhood restaurant on the UES. It is a bit small for the seating they are trying to provide, but all seem to tolerate the cramped space reasonably well. Food and Service has been consistently good.
Perfect casual dining with friends and family. The risotto however was very thick and heavy!
The service was so unpleasant that we will never return.
Had a fabulous dinner for our anniversary. The whole team at F&O we’re wonderful!
Excellent fish paella. Do recommend. White wine also very good.
Good food and wine.
The midtown restaurant is good, this one is mediocre. The octopus was recycled, the scallops luke warm. Second try at this location, same result. Stick to the midtown location.
Excellent meals. From my wife’s fish to my organic lemon chicken everything was superb. Waitress attentive and competent. Sangria was refreshing. We have been there in the past and will go often.
The service and food was perfect! This location is somewhat cramped. They may consider replacing the chairs with more comfortable and less bulky chairs.
Ok food super bland
I like the ambiance of this restaurant and the wine list was good. I wasn't overly impressed with the crostini which they are known for. My branzio fish was very good.
Everything was awesome, best place in NYC.
Haley was super sweet and patient. Definitely coming back for more crostinis and the scallops!
As I attend theater in the area, my go to place is Fig & Olive. The crostini's are excellent and reasonable. My server made a fantastic mojito, not on the Wine List, at my request for same and other dishes available are always well prepared and beautiful to see. Go, enjoy, especially the bread served with three different oils in which to dip.
Great service, warm atmosphere and a charming neighborhood place. My party of four loved the food and you did not rush us at lunchtime. Thank you. We'll be back!
Great food to meet and connect with friends.
Just disappointing. Food was better than luncheonette, not a culinary experience.
The food and service was incredible! Great atmosphere!
Overall outstanding food and service. Pricing was typical for the city. Definitely recommend.
$100 for 2 lunch salads, one $14 glass of wine, cup of soup and tap water to drink Not planning to go back.
The apple and Fig salad is the best
This is a very nice restaurant. We had good service and good food. We would return.
