Great welcome. Flexible table time. Super Cote de Gascogne chilled white. Helpful service. Delicious dishes for all courses for all of us. Very reasonable bill. Strongly recommended!
Always live this restaurant at any location. The price fixe is great.
The male waiter with a beard was outstanding. I love fig and olive and I highly recommend it
Excellent staff. Great food. My place to go to take clients to lunch.
Love this particular fig & Olive location. Super quaint and good service. I can hear my conversation and enjoy the bustling ambiance.
Great food. Great service. Tables are a little too close together.
Great service and food.
Food was beautifully presented and well seasoned.
Got the restaurant week lunch. Paella was okay. Rice was overly wet and seafood wasn’t fresh. Carrot and ginger soup was fine, not bad not memorable. Servers took ages to come for anything and we got there before it was crowded. Would not return to fig and olive location. The one in meatpacking district was better
No liquor license
Our first time there. We loved it!
Great lunch with a friend. Fresh food paired with exquisite wine. Starters with the flavored olive oil and bread superb. Never disappoints.
I frequently dine at Fig & Olive. Each time the food is excellent, the portions humongous. Wine vchoices are good and reasonably priced.
They only offer wine or beer
My fav Fig & Olive location- always cozy and always lovely service with great food.
Usually we eat at the location on 52nd street where they bring bread before the meal. No bread offered here which was sad! Aside from that service was good and portions large as normal.
Fabulous as always. My number one place to go for Sunday brunch.
Overpriced for the quality of food but cute restaurant for date
Service is terrific and its a great place for lunch. Perfect menu
Crostinis were delish!
Beautiful, the crostini’s are still a delight for the mouth.
Amazing food! Beautiful setting and quiet.
Everything was good including service just a touch to pricey for the portions
We had to ask the waiter for bread at least 4 times which is unacceptable!
Hard to converse due to noise level but food fabulous as always. Server very attentive but did not feel rushed.
I could never give a 4-star review to a restaurant or a server where I had to request a refill on coffee, especially in a brunch situation. The server was very pleasant and knowledgeable. The menu is unusual, which makes it interesting, almost exciting. Food was good, but nothing special. We had a pleasant meal ... if only we hadn't had to flag down the server to get that refill on coffee. In their defense, although it was practically empty when we arrived, it was very busy by the time we received out main course.
Over priced
My friend came in from out of town and we wanted good food and lovely atmosphere. Here we got both and couldn’t have been more pleased.
Thank you to Sabrina and her staff who seamlessly emptied plates, brought plates, took wine glasses out that needed to be refilled and brought them back with ninja-like speed. We never even noticed that things were happening around us. Crostinis on raw zucchini were incredible, as was the octopus carpaccio, cauliflower and hamachi crudo. Wonderful all around experience.
Service was spotty at the best. The blondie man behind the bar took the order eventually and we were pretty full with his attitude by then. Forget about checking in to see if all is OK, he was plenty busy chatting with the hostess most of the time. Salad with chicken, I strongly believe they relieved an aged piece from a bag of Purdue chicken, dried to the texture/tissue and salad is drenched with creamy dressing that weighed down any sense of freshness.
Every time I thought of gicing this joint another shot, they were more eager than usual to disappoint.
Sadly the management team was not at it's best during this dining experience. My party left rather abruptly after we were asked my management rather rudely to move our coats, hats, scarves, gloves and mobility devices with no offer of an alternative place to put them. Not likely to eat here again. To make matters worst the food was not that impressive for the price.
I got here fairly often. The hamachi is wonderful! The beets in the salad were not in great shape, but everything else was good.
The crostinis are the best - a neighborhood gem which never disappoints. Refills on ice tea would have brought higher score.
This was a bad night. The tall blonde waiter was too involved in posing than listening to our requests, so for that reason a glass of wine ordered at the beginning of the meal was never delivered. The octopus appetizer was supposed to be scorched and crispy charred but it was not. And to add to the dismay, I forgot to tell the waiter “low sodium” so this dish was drenched in salt. The carrot/ginger soup was filled with slices of ginger that were inedible and it was poured into a cold dish so it likewise lost its heat quickly. While we have eaten here many times and overall enjoyed the experience, this was an off day that makes me want to write that I will not be back.
A great little find, with really tasty food and GREAT service from our wonderful waitress. Would go back in a heartbeat!
Once again, Fig and Olive has proved itself a wonder choice of restaurant to go to in this neighborhood. The food is excellent. I particularly love the crostini choices and results. My companion, a fist timer, was greatly impressed.
Requested table was not available. While I understand that such requests are not guaranteed but there were many empty tables elsewhere and not all seated at window requested it in advance as I had done. Disappointed. Will still dine there as I appreciate your food
Fab food. Lovely staff and quaint place for an intimate gathering.
Fig & Olive has been a go to restaurant for my wife and I when attending theater in the area. We have aways had a favorable reaction to the food, drink, and atmosphere.
The restaurant isn’t handicap accessible. My dad uses a walker and they did not want the restaurant to have walker inside. Additionally, there are narrow steep steps to use a bathroom, so he was unable to use the bathroom. On top of that, he’s diabetic and we waited over 45 minutes for our food.
Love the menu and the food. The staff was very accommodating for my friend's dietary restrictions. The F&O salad had fewer goodies in it than when I last had it at another location. While the atmosphere (and acoustics) is energetic, we were seated towards the back where it is a bit more quiet. Sorry that the olive oils from around the world were mostly replaced with infused ones. I would have bought a few more bottles if the Tunisian, Greek and other varieties were offered and available. The balsamic is still the best anywhere!
