The ambiance was perfect! The service was warm and inviting. The appetizers and crostini were creative and delicious. We had the duck as an entree and that was over cooked.

Party of 2 were celebrating a 40th birthday. Arrived 30 mins early for our reservation but were seated immediately. We ordered crostini to start - good but pricey. Also had a half dozen Kumamoto oysters - very good. We ordered duck breast and bouillabaisse for mains. Duck was so-so - a bit over medium rare and tasted somewhat like offal. The soup was very good.
Service was excellent.

Beautiful location, I liked what they did with the downstairs bar, staff is attentive, disappointed that none of their red meat were grass-fed & finished, at those prices you would think they could accommodate that dietary need, loved the little dessert for the birthday girl, a classy end to our meal. We will return.

We had issues with the food and inexperienced staff on a busy NYE nite but management stepped in and resolved the issues. I have been here many times for various occasions and overall experience has been exceptional

Although it was New Year’s Eve we called and asked if the regular menu would be available early in the evening and we were assured it would be. We had very early reservations and the menu was modified. Our favorites were different and all the crudos which we love were not available. We ordered 3 appetizers and they all hit the table in less than 5 minutes at the same time, hard to enjoy when this happens. My husband had the duck which he loved. I had the lamb chops all which were butchered to different sizes and cooked from well to med rare due to sizes... a miss for me for such a nice restaurant. Perhaps it was the expectation of a huge crowd and New Year’s Eve that made it all a little off but I would not have expected that for this restaurant. We like this place and of course will be back. Waiter and service was great overall.

First time there and found the food delicious-
Kobacha squadh risotto was the Best I’ve ever, ever had. Drinks a little pricey for lunch and service was less than attentive-busy for holiday lunches perhaps. Creative menu- try the mushroom en croquette for a taste treat!

Although we had made a reservation for 2 and were celebrating a birthday, upon our on time arrival, there was no seating available in the dining room for at least 30 minutes, thus we had to have our lunch in the lounge area. That was disappointing.

We visited with an out of town friend. There was almost no one in the restruant when we arrived, but filled up. Our waiter was fairly prompt in greeting us, but that was the end. He took a drink order which was slow in arriving and when it did, I had ordered a martini and it was brought with out olives. He came over and I asked for olives, which took about 5 minutes to arrive. He came right back to take our order, but we had not even looked at the menu, and asked him to come back. His second visit took about 20 minutes. The food came out hot and very well presented, but no follow up by the waiter. I went to an ajoining table to get silverware. The food was excellent, but the service, especially due to the price, was poor.

It was a disappointed experience,
1) our server began to explained one of the appetizer dishes, and told us she would come back, and never did.
2) We asked our waitress to have the heater above our table turn on, we asked her twice
3) took 1 hour to serve us soup and salad
4) we ordered side dishes for our dinner entrees and we didn't get served, we have to ask our waitress, we cancelled the order because all of us have started eating.

Spectacular service by our server (from Guadalajara) and super attentive staff, but not "in our face". Manager added complimentary desserts to our order. Very classy.

We had a nice dinner. Our server Eddie was very good. We have been here before when the noise level was tolerable. It got to be waaaay too loud and we had to yell over the table. We ordered a number of crostini , some sides, and a main for two of us. Everything was brought out at the same time. The table wasn't big enough to have everything on it and we should have been advised to do it in parts. The place is lovely and we enjoyed the dinner although it was a bit complicated and WAAAAY too noisy.

We came for anniversary and it was not a busy night. However, our waitress was the most unattentive waitress we have had in a long time. Thank goodness the food was good. She didn't come over to our table for quite a while, then the very few types she checked on us, she was in a super rush. We had to flag her down after waiting with empty drinks for a long time. Even to pick up our check, we just waited and waited. Made the evening very unpleasant. Disappointing.

Needed to find a place to eat fast. We were hungry and from out of town. Saw the name on the mall map, thought it sounded like n OK name and booked a reservation for a seat in the next 10 mins. We were hungry. It was delish. I had squash risotto. Friend had the chicken
Club sand. The bread and oil that was given at drinks was so yummy.

The Restaurant is very beautiful, a feast for the eyes in fact. The food was good. Our waiter seemed to be disappointed when we did not order appetizers. We would have ordered dessert had the service not been so lousy. It seemed odd that he pushed the appetizers and did not mention dessert and coffee. He did apologize for the service and comped the least expensive entree, which he did not have to do. I would give it another try, it seemed a bit understaffed the night we were there. It is a very beautiful place; I really would like to love it.

We were there to celebrate 2 birthdays. The crostinis and oysters where delicious. I had the mushroom risotto. seemed a little dry and heavy, but the flavor was good. I have had risotto that is light and creamy and that is my preference when it comes to risotto. The desert was delicious, pear tart. Our waitress was running around a lot. Seemed she may have been the only one covering the entire area where we where seated. She was patient with my elderly friend, but you can tell she was in a hurry to get to the next table. Our water glasses weren't filled. We had to ask for water each time. Regardless, we would consider going back for appetizers and drinks.

Always enjoy the Fig & Olive. Our visit for lunch on 12-1-2017 was very enjoyable except for the service. It was very slow and we had to ask for our waiter whenever we needed something. He did not come to our table to ask us if we needed anything after our food was served.

Love this place. Our waitress, although nice, was trying too hard to sell us up on appetizers, more food, wine and dessert. I appreciated her attentiveness, but sometimes a waiter/waitress needs to read their clients and realize we wanted a quiet chat without constant interruptions and asking us if we wanted more etc. She was obviously following restaurant protocol, but it was bothersome

Food is great and ambience is wonderful. I was a bit taken back by some of the lax staff. When we arrived no one was at the host station yet there was visible staff everywhere. There was a group of suited male staff standing inside the restaurant having a conversation and they clearly saw us yet continued their conversation. After a few minutes they broke up and and one of the gentlemen came to the host station to check us in. Later I got a message from Open Table indicating I missed my reservation????? I think the attention to detail is beginning to wear off for this otherwise superb restaurant. Been here several times and never had this experience. Would still go again but...
