We came to celebrate our daughter’s 18th birthday. Service was very slow and took a long time to get to us even though place wasn’t packed. Food was tasteless and 2 ordered had to be exchanged. Unfortunately it was a great disappointment after a great previous visit.
We love Fig and Olive in NYC, and our experience in LA was wonderful, especially the service, which could not have been more helpful and considerate. Food was fresh and delicious with plenty of emphasis on vegetables for the spring menu. The space is beautiful, and we opted to dine in the lounge and relax for a couple of hours before heading to the airport for a red-eye flight back to NYC. Highly recommended!
Also love the gluten free options on the Crostini, the Polenta crisp was absolutely delicious, which I had not seen on NY menu, but I imagine may now be available at all locations.
Ordered from the lunch Prix fix menu and advised the server I could not have dairy. He didn’t tell me there was dairy in the purée in the salmon. entree which was a bit disappointing.
Have dined at F&O multiple times.
Ambience is lovely. Does get quite loud, though.
Food is truly delicious. Everyone should treat themselves to their signature dessert...chocolat pot de creme.
Service is normally top notch.
Unfortunately, not today.
So slow & it was very annoying that we had to ask over & over for any attention. We were constantly passed by.
Mistakes were made & we appreciate the apology, but dining at your establishment should mean no mistakes & A+ service.
Especially disappointing since we brought my mother-in-law (from out of town) for her 1st experience. Boo.
We had an awful experience and will be following up with the manager. We were seated upstairs which was disappointing but whAt was worse was actually having to ask the waiter for water and bread after sitting there for over 10 minutes. Took so long to even put our order in that we order appetizers and our meal all at the same time. They were not staffed appropriately. We have been here a few times before and won’t be coming back.
Great birthday experience - definitely would go back !!
Beautiful restaurant with delicious cuisine but lackluster service from unknowledgable servers. Also, there is a limited level of diversity among staff and customers. If you aren't in the majority, you will likely get strange stares and will feel uncomfortable all night.
Ambience was awesome. Service was great! Food was good. The huge salad portion was a little bland. The cheese board was ok, nothing special on the selection. But the paella was on point! And the chocolate with ice was divine. Thank you for everything. Will definitely come back for another dinner. Highly recommended!
The service was fantastic and the food was amazing! I would be a regular if I lived nearby.
Beautiful place with fantastic food. Ordered Cheese Board, Fig & Olive salad, Squash Risotto, scallops, chocolate something dessert. Everything was terrific! Great special occasion restaurant.
Great service!
Great place for lunch, fabulous décor, food and wine. Love the bar and the olive oil and wine bottles lining the wall.
All the dishes were were designed and conceived. Our waiter was very helpful narrowing down the choices on the menu. They even gave us a dessert for our anniversary.
The food is outstanding... Zucchini carpaccio is a crowd-pleaser appetizer. Thumbs up on the burrata crostini. The salmon was so fresh it was still swimming upstream. Whatever u do, don't order the chocolate fondant - it will spoil u 4 life! Topping it off, the service couldn't be more attentive or congenial. Not cheap - but worth it
Amazing ambiance, delicious food.
My 80 year old parents came to visit. My mother specifically asked for a pretty restaurant with white tablecloths, good food and that wasn't noisy for lunch on a Monday. Fig and Olive came highly recommended by a friend and it was exactly what I was looking for. My Aunt and Uncle joined us as well as everyone was very pleased with their food as well as the beautiful interior.
It's perfect. Nice everything. Today's Special menu is very good.
Great quality. Love the different olive oils
The food was delicious! Customer service was amazing! Jaqui and Esteban were sooo attentive and caring!
The services was WAY better than I expected! Our waiter was so attentive, and he had a recommendation for every single high maintenance Kween that I was dinning with. Thanks for the best boozy brunch that I've had in awhile.
Our server Nicholas 325 was excellent and super helpful we had a great time !
Birthday celebration and it was yummy and wsrm
Great atmosphere, great service excellent food!!!
Excellent experience. Great food with amazing service.
Great restaurant, but there were flies and nats flying everywhere. We move two times and the problem persisted. You don’t expect this from a higher end establishment like this. Serving staff tried their best to resolve the issue, but there are some things they can’t resolve
Our waiter Sirus was the nicest most accommodating waiter I’ve ever had.
The bartender was outstanding and a real craftsman. We asked for something special and he surprised us with fabulous cocktails he had concocted. Will definitely recommend the bar as a great watering whole.
Food was delicious and the service was great.
Food was not what was expected from such a beautiful spot. Drinks and presentation were hurriedly poured and made. I love this restaurant but the food was lacking in taste.
Easter Brunch
I responded to FIG + OLIVE's Easter Brunch email to get their 10:30am seating. They charged $25 in advance for this reservation (FYI). I called ahead to say that my friend, who uses a cane, wanted to be able to sit down as soon as we arrived. But we were told the restaurant would not be open until 10:30am. We arrived from our Easter Mass at 10am, and along with at least 7 other brunch guests (including a family with 3 toddlers) were made to wait outside locked doors until 10:35. Since this was Easter Sunday, the staff should have been more flexible and aware of this. When I motioned to the receptionist at 10:31, "What's up?", she frowned at me like I was the problem. I wouldn't return to Fig & Olive. Plus, they had slow service once we were seated.
Uninspiring service, subpar food, expensive.
Great ambiance and food, I wish the service would be better.
Great food
Lovely! Very nice!
Food just wasn’t that tasty. Had the chicken tagine and boulliabase, burrata appetizer, and a couple of crostinis.
A lunch date waylaid by traffic became a solo lunch made all the more festive by the incredible servers Jackie and John who made me feel like an old friend. Add three delicious courses to this and you have a dream afternoon at a fine restaurant.
delicious salmon tartar
I just love this restaurant; service and food consistently excellent. I highly recommend it. Happy Hour is great here been twice in one week!!
The best! Food was amazing
I requested for our dessert to come out with birthday candles on open table prior to coming in. At the time of dessert there was no singing or candle. That was disappointing. Otherwise all else was good.
